We went there for lunch on a Sunday. We had the bean cakes, the kids had raviolis and rice and beans. Very tasty! Everyone liked their dessert too. I had the peach and blueberry crisp and it was a perfect portion. Service was a bit slow and we had to ask for coffee refills however.

A friend and I came for dinner. The receptionist and wait staff just delightful! The entry to the eatery, adorable, a gelato station and take out options. The food, at best«meh.» Trout was well cooked but the description neglected to mention that is was blackened which might not be to the liking of some folks. Assorted veggies were a soggy mess and the mashed, garlic potatoes dense and scooped as opposed to light and fluffy. For the price($ 30) you might want to double think this restaurant or order a simple pasta dish.

Waited what seemed like a long time for our meal even though it wasn’t busy. Had undercooked gluten free pasta eggplant dish. Told the waitress and she did offer to get me a new bowl of pasta but I was too tired to wait again. Dessert was stale cake but tasted like it would have been fantastic if it was fresh. Waitress was truly apologetic. We’ve eaten here before and never had s problem so it was surprising. Companion’s meal was fine.

The food was ok, the service was such a disappointment. We hear exceptional things about this place from locals and other Unilocal reviewers. Came on a non-busy night in the middle of the week and the service was slow, and a bit messy. Our server couldn’t be bothered to check in on us, or when we asked for plates with our appetizers it took a while. We also had several groups of people come after us and they came and went before we even got our entrées. It took almost two hours to get through the meal, which is slow when there’s no wine to enjoy. The«highly recommended» mahi mahi was flavorless. However, The eggplant rollatini was good, as was the goat cheese crostini. I wouldn’t recommend this place, there are better options in the area.

Delightful little spot with charming atmosphere and a casual laid back vibe. We live in the area but only went there for the first time last night but will definitely go back. Food was on point and many choices for both vegans and carnivores but the fresh fish is the thing to get there. We both ordered the striped bass special of the night and were pleased by presentation, taste and portions and our waiter, Christopher, was top notch without hovering over us. Gelato afterward was also delicious. Extra bonus, the place is BYO.

I came here on a saturday night while my parents were in town visiting. Jeff was our server(a college student studying marketing). He was extremely friendly and nice as well as accommodating to the various dietary needs at our table. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and made to feel very comfortable. Almost as if I was a regular. And the food was as great as the service. I had the grilled romaine salad and the special cedar plank trout. My party also had the salmon, seitan and tofu dish. They also were very willing to substitute items across the board. It is very vegan and vegetarian friendly and those dishes are far from ordinary. There was light jazz playing loud enough to enjoy but quiet enough to have a conversation. Overall– excellent service, food that is healthy and tasty and a great atmosphere.

Great spot for lunch. Nice artwork throughout. Service very good. Enjoyed mushroom soup and the pulled BBQ pork quesadilla. My friend’s salmon patty salad was good too. Very busy place for a Friday afternoon!

Not bad, but there were a few things that need improvement. Service was very fast, extremely polite and friendly despite the staff clearly being very busy. They were very attentive. Everything was clean. Regarding the meal, the water carafe at the table was room temperature. The Cesar salad had almost no dressing on it. The bread brought to the table was small, soft bits, almost like small blobs of rolls. The cream of mushroom soup was not all that good. It lacked creamy richness and flavor. The entrees were very good. Portions were just right. The pasta in the dish was not your run-of-the-mill pasta. It was a good quality type of pasta and it was a flavored pasta. The vegetables accompanying the entrée I ordered were perfect, cooked just right and a generous amount. The sword fish did have a previously frozen quality to it, but I don’t think that is the restaurant’s fault. I find fish purchased anywhere has that quality to it. It was certainly cooked just right. The sauce served with it was perfect. So, too, were the potatoes. I was not disappointed! We didn’t order dessert, so I can’t review that. What I saw in the case looked wonderful. It is BYOB. A little on the pricey side, too. I would return.

We ate the portobello grande and the pan roasted setain, to go, and it was delicious! If I had known the place was so charming we would’ve made time to eat there(it is adorable!) Both meals were very flavorful and I would highly recommend them. They also had a vegan brownie which was just as delicious :)

Wonderful spot set just off of Bridge Street in Lambertville… Pros: Cozy atmosphere including outdoor and indoor seating Good menu with plenty of options but not so many to be overwhelming(Ask for brick over pizza menu) Wait staff is friendly and knowledgable about the menu BYOB Cons: Service can be a bit slow — just make sure you have time Tip: All salads on the menu can be ordered in half portions!

We had a wonderful breakfast in the 70 degree December 24th day. The staff was great.

Came here last weekend with a party of 6, plus 2 young toddlers. We were celebrating a birthday. We didn’t get off to a good start. They obviously forgot that two high chairs had been requested, and they put us in the middle of the room. We quickly realized(so did they) that we wouldn’t be able to fit high chairs, so they moved us to a different table in an adjacent room. Once we got situated, things began looking up. Our server was great — extremely personable and attentive. We ordered appetizers — a portobello mushroom platter and the Mediterranean platter. Both were excellent. I ordered the vodka rigatoni, which was good. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meals — which ranged from ravioli to ahi tuna to trout. They served the cake that we brought, which was nice of them. They also sang happy birthday — and even used the name of the birthday gal, which was nice of them! This was my second visit to Caffe Galleria and I would definitely come back — but it’s not for the claustrophobic :)

Caffe Galeria… great for anytime. I have had brunh, dinner and dessert. Service was always on point and definitely a big draw for many customers in the place. I enjoyed all of my meals but the stuffed french toast was awesome. Not too sweet and just the right amount of soaked berries. I would definitely get that again. Last trip, I just came in for dessert. I had the affogato with burnt sugar gelato. A tad bit pricy but damn I sure enjoyed every bite and it even came with a biscotti.

I have been to Caffe Galleria many times for dinner but never stopped in for breakfast so I did this weekend for brunch which is served on the weekends. The brunch menu is unique, small and fun. We went for the cheese polenta and black bean menu selections and they were great. Anything that includes eggs is grand in my book. If the weather is nice, it’s great to sit outside on the wrap around porch as well!

It was a perfect crisp fall evening. Our anniversary in fact. We had done some celebrating on our own and had our two kiddos ages 4&6 and my Mom in tow for dinner. We stumbled upon this place. It looked very cute. Unilocal reviews were decent. So we gave it a shot without even looking at the menu first. Little did I know what a treat I was in for! Very cute little converted house turned restaurant. The front porch seating is very charming. Unfortunately, they were completely booked. It was a Saturday night. So I’m guessing reservations are probably a good idea. The changing art on the interior makes for an interesting vibe and is obvious the theme of the place. The candles, white linens and water carafes at the tables are a nice touch. I love not having to wait for water as I drink a ton of it! Love the pew benches and pillows. Very cozy. The delicious smell hits you when you walk in the front door and you can’t help but notice the gelato staring at you and the unique coffee menu too. Chai cider caught my eye. Sounds perfect for the fall day that it was! I didn’t have it however. Maybe next time. One caffeinated drink a day is plenty for me. The hostess and waitress were both very nice and attentive although my Mom had noted after we left no one asked if we wanted parm cheese after we received our meals. Not a big deal. Menu: unexpectedly amazing choices for vegans! Woo hoo! I had no idea and was so pleasantly surprised at the variety. Even vegan cheese and seitan! I ordered the Pan Roasted Seitan With plum tomatoes, garden peas, canelli beans, avocado and soy mozzarella over a bed of organic brown rice. It was $ 16 and huge! And delish!!! I’ve never had a dish like this. I loved it. My husband had the pumpkin ravioli in walnut cream sauce special and he loved his. $ 22 Kiddos gobbled up their raviolis from the kids menu $ 8 and my Mom had the roasted chicken which she said was just ok. The bread was warm but nothing to write home about. I later read they make it fresh. It didn’t necessarily seem that way. My family got gelato to go afterwards. We are all quite picky after having been to Italy and they actually said the chocolate was amazing! Big points for the romantic lighting, front porch seats and plethora of vegetarian and vegan options. I would definitely come back and try other vegan dishes. **We wish we would have known it was BYOB or about the music of Friday nights. Better planning next time! But great find!

Opted for this place after seeing how packed Annie’s was. Honestly? I wasn’t impressed. I was stuck between 2 or 3 stars with this. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t good. After reading some pretty decent reviews, I was kind of surprised by the outcome of my experience here. It looks super cute from the outside as it is in an old house. I did a little Unilocaling before picking it, so I went for it. Hostess was a little unpleasant. She kind of just stared at us for a second until I said, «Two.» She asked where we wanted to sit. I told her that outside would be cool if it worked for them. She tells me it’s a little cramped and rather that we sit inside. Ok. Cool. Not quite sure why you’d ask me in the first place if you were making the decision for me. I was able to look past that. It took them several minutes to get a table together, although it wasn’t very busy in there. Once we sat, we decided what we were eating pretty quickly. We waited about another 10 minutes before someone asked if our server came to us yet. Nope. We had only been given room temperature water to start with. We were still waiting. He came over and wasn’t very social. Good looking guy, I’ll give him that… but he was kind of a douche. I ordered the roasted chicken panini and the person I was with ordered a small buffalo chicken pizza. Food came out relatively quick and was dropped by a bus girl/food runner. Though the salad that came on the side was good, the sandwich just didn’t do it for me. The prosciutto was dried out, as well as the chicken. The bread didn’t taste extremely fresh and there wasn’t much flavor to the whole thing at all. I will say that I did try the pizza, and that was pretty good. It was thin and cooked decent. If someone had me go there again one day, I would get pizza. We didn’t see our server at all until he dropped the check.

Couldn’t have been better! 11 friends and I had reservations on a Friday night. That’s right, 12 women! Caffe Galleria was the perfect spot! The ambiance is relaxing and casual. It’s a BYOB. We had a side room that we shared with a few other tables. It was nice being in a «private» space. We didn’t know the side room existed or was available. Smart placement for a large party! Our waiter, Christopher, took excellent care of us! After telling us about the specials, he also told us when he would be back for our order. Smart! We had it together when he returned! I had the stripped bass special. The portion was huge and cooked perfectly. Others had seafood, pasta, salads. No dessert for us — we were full! EVERYONE loved their meal!

On a Sunday morning my friends and I were able to be seated after waiting for just a few minutes. The restaurant seemed busy but there are plenty of tables both inside and outside to accommodate the crowd. We sat down around 11:30 and we were given the breakfast, lunch and brunch menus to choose from. I appreciated the options versus offering just a limited menu. I started with a cappuccino that was made to perfection. For food I was in the lunch mood so I ordered a turkey, roasted pepper and brie panini with a side of local green salad. The salad was incredible. it was pretty much a standard salad but tasted amazing. The panini came with a honey mustard spread that I got on the side. Most of my other friends got breakfast dishes and all were pleased with their meals. The service was good. The ambiance was good. It’s also a BYO. Metered parking is available on the street.

Came here for a late breakfast with a group of friends of mine. We had to wait for about 5 minutes to get a table. The place itself is really cute and really has an awesome New Orleans type feel to it. We got the breakfast, brunch, and lunch menus. I decided to order breakfast. I got the sweet italian scramble with onions and semolina bread. It was pretty good. I wish there was more b/c i definitely could have eaten more of it. The iced coffee was also good, and my friend noticed that they use iced coffee cubes instead of ice cubes to keep it cold. Big plus for the coffee! Service was good, prices were good. I had a bite of my friends stuffed french toast and it was good– not too sweet. Metered parking. On sundays– they dont start checking until 1pm.

This stop for lunch was an unexpected and delicious treat! Driven into the walkway by relentless rain one afternoon we peered through the window and decided to check it out.(There’s also a very interesting old burial ground adjacent to the restaurant that you will have to take a look at). We were greeted by Nicole, the proprietor who seated us in the dining room by the window. The lunch crowd had died down but there were still plenty of customers lingering over coffee and dessert. We started with two cups of soup. The Carrot Ginger and the Rich tuscan mushroom. It is no exaggeration to say that my date and I agreed this wasn’t just a nice cup of soup, indeed the mushroom soup may have been the BESTSOUPWEHADEVERTASTED. Really incredible. Otherworldly. And I’m not really a soup fanatic. Until now that is. Ok enough about that for now, lunch we ordered the seitan cheesesteak and a great salad. The cheesesteak was delicious. Loaded with tons of onion, peppers and seitan. I ordered mine with fresh mozzarella cheese, though a vegan cheese alternative is also available. It was served on toasted semolina paninni bread. Excellent! As was the salad, with all fresh crisp ingredients and a really delicious homemade vinaigrette with perhaps basil? Anyway this was a fantastic find and we will be back!
