Vimarn Thai Massage

The most painful, yet rewarding massage ever. Forgot the lady name, but she was the person that greeted me. Thin, but she’s very strong; knew exactly which part of my body needed works. A little more expensive than my usual place, which was completely booked up. So decided to try a new place.

OMG I love vimarn! I walked out feeling Amazing! All the sore tense pain my back felt all disappeared just by using elbows & feet! I even fell asleep! I was that relaxed! I will definitely be going back!

OMG! I feel like jello! This place is amazing. I got the $ 45 one hour from Unilocal,but then ended up adding an additional 30 minutes for $ 20 extra halfway through because it was so amazing. I’m super sore, but in a good way because I had knots all over my legs and back from training Muay Thai. If you like firm pressure on your massages and need someone strong to work the knots out, I highly recommend this place! They don’t shy away from putting the pressure on (I had Aileene and she was very skilled). They also have a frequent customer card — buy 10 one-​hr and get one free! Works out perfectly because I’ll certainly be back!

The first thing I must say is OMG, the massage felt soooo good! The atmosphere was very relaxing. The massage therapist was very attentive to the areas where the pain was from. She seemed to find every knot in my back and shoulders. After the massage she told me to take my time in getting up. They did not rush me by any means. Again I am very relaxed and rejuvenated. I will be back.

I had a massage there yesterday. I’m so sore and in pain from it today. They didn’t give me a bottle of water. You can hear other people talking so there is no quietness. I was very unhappy. that I didn’t leave a tip. And as I left the lady who gave me the massage was demanding I give her a tip. Why would I give her a tip when I didn’t like it. She was very rough and the massage felt painful. When you get a massage its to relax you and make you feel good. I left there in pain and worse than when i came in. I left there very unhappy. I would not recommend it.

Just a decent massage place. Didn’t think it was that awesome or great. It’s tough when there are so many options in the surrounding vicinity. There are cheaper and/​or better options that are close by.
The place is clean and accessible. They had a mandatory tip amount which I thought was a little strange.

Read the reviews but since it was last minute I didn’t get to pick one of the masseuse mentioned frequently by others. I hope for the sake of others that this was the issue. I had Bee (not sure of the spelling) and this was a waste of time for me and, more importantly, my money. Similar to a foot massage place, mostly just using the arms to roll over the muscles, not fingers kneading the muscles or elbows working the muscles to a relaxed state. She did do a few Thai style stretches, but nothing particularly impressive, especially compared to other Thai Massages I have had in the past.
I normally go to see a gal named Ruby at Zennova Day Spa in Westminster. She wasn’t available that night and I thought I would give this place a try since I had passed by recently and had hoped to find a good place closer to home.
My Experience:
I have been going to Thai/​Chinese/​Swiss massage on a regular basis for about 6 – 7 years now. I have been to Thailand 3 occasions and have had many massages (traditional) while there.

Terrible service and massage. I went in and checked in with Unilocal but the woman refused to give me the Unilocal price because she said i didnt check in properly. Then she only gave me a 45 minute massage, instead of 1 hour. And she stopped my massage 3x to answer the phone. The massage was terrible. It was way too rough and when i told her that i only had a few dollars for tip due to the poor service she pointed to a sign they have to show me they require from 10 – 20 tip for service.

Just had an amazing massage by June. This was my first time getting a Thai massage and didn’t know what to expect. My sciatic started flaring up again, I recently got active again and failed to stay on top of post activity stretching. Things got tight and here I was the day after a not so peaceful sleep.
I knew of the place seeing it in passing and after looking it up here on Unilocal,I was sold. It’s really tiny and intimate setting. Peaceful music throughout the building and comfortable tables.
I was walked on, kneaded, squeezed, stretched, and twisted and it felt gooooooood! June was really friendly and knowledgeable and easy to communicate with. I will definitely return soon to finish loosening up these muscles.

They have a nice and clean massage room. They have room for couples too. The background music is so relaxing and feels like you are in a different continent. I like the lotion that they use unlike the other massage place that my hubby and i used to go to. It doesn’t smell like a medicine. The décor in the lobby is cool.

Pam is amazing. I came in with lots of sore, achy muscles and left feeling a million times better. The place is a bit small but you forget about that as soon as you’re on the table. The $ 45/​1hr deal gets you $ 5 off when you check in which is pretty nice. I would love to come back!

Horrible experience…
Called at 8:10pm knowing that they closed at 9pm. I asked them if I came (7 min away) would I be able to get the $ 45 per hr deal.
They said yes and took my name.
Showed up and had some problem finding it. Got there in time but by the time I made it in it was 13 min as opposed to the 7 that I thought.
They said they can’t do an hour for me but can do 30 min for $ 40…wowser! I wouldn’t have came if I couldn’t get the hour deal.
I reminded them of our phone conversation and they gave me a smart attitude and said you are 6 min past the time you said you would come. I reminded them that we spent 4 min on the phone trying to understand them give directions to the place.
Anyways, I no longer felt comfortable and decided not to take the amazing $ 40 for 30 min deal.
As hard as it is to make money, let alone $ 45 per hour, you think they wouldn’t mind staying that extra «6 min» and possible have a repeat client.
Plenty of massage places out there. Id hate to see them change the price after you get your massage!
