On a cold rainy day(which is most of the days here) it’s a wonderful feeling to be comforted with da best suhl-lung-ttang gook in town. If you are sick and needs some of mom’s good olé soup to fill your belly with yummy goodness, come to HANBAT

Update on this. I just went to visit and the folks are closing in the next six weeks This is so sad to me! They seemed to be busy when I visit but the location is truly bad, set back in a rarely visited truly rundown strip mall I wish them well and will continue to trek to theirs sons place in Fed Way And what a lovely«family» they have unknowingly become to ours! It is a place to take my family everyone loves it .does not break the bank My grandson looked at me the last time we went grabbed his chopsticks lifted those noodles over his head… and slurped like a pro! I love Hanbat as well and feel so fortunite to live in a place where you can eat Korean food with reckless abandon Trying to rotate around the Puget Sound so no one knows how serious my addiction to this soup is! they are catching on between Federal Way and Tacoma I may have to start wearing dark glasses! This is a great healthy lunch you can eat on just about any«diet» except obviosly vegetarian and the roll of paper towels is so greatly appreciated!

This restaurant is usually just filled with Koreans and there friends. I come here when I want knee bone soup(du ca né tang). I do like Hanbats ban chan better but the price is a dollar better on the weekdays. this place also has slightly more of a selection then Hanbat. the service is very medicore and I’m not sure the speak English but the food is worth your time. the owner owns three of these restaurants one in fed way and also in Edmonds. this is a wonderful place to go and just have a warm bolw of soup and noodles. don’t forget it’s ok to slurp in the Korean custom. it’s ok to belch after words. plase just don’t pass gas after your through.
