Came here for a comedy event. Was difficult to get service at either bar. Why anyone would ever come back here?

Went here on a show night to see a performer perform. Pros: Nice inside — the front bar is cute and the back listening room has nice decorations, cool sound and some comfortable seating like couches. Cleaner and better fixed up than most rock clubs. Sound was pretty good. Staff were reasonably polite. Location is convenient for me. There is a decent amount of parking on the street, in a lot next door and around the corner in a reasonably OK residential area(though this being the end of Lakewood that is near Cleveland, there are occasional sketchy people walking by at night). Cons: Compared to the previous owner, the band bookings are not as much things I would be interested in(like classic rock, alternative rock) and tending more towards dance, «urban» and cocktail loungey stuff. More like a lounge that happens to have an occasionally-used stage than a music club primarily. Prices WAYHIGH. I go to shows all over town and 20 dollars to get in the door of a rock club show is high end, especially for Lakewood and especially at this end of Lakewood. I guess they were able to get it because the artist attracts a die hard crowd of older well-heeled people, but I saw the same artist a few months ago at Beachland Tavern for about 12 bucks. Now granted maybe the Bevy is slightly nicer than the Beachland in terms of amenities, but not 8 bucks more worth nicer. Food and drink — I opted to skip it entirely because I just blew my budget on the door price. In the band room there was no aisle for the wait staff to use away from the stage, meaning that all night long while the artist was performing on a stage raised maybe a foot off the floor, a server was running back in forth in front of him while he was playing — didn’t even wait for breaks in the songs. Again, 20 bucks to be distracted all night by somebody running food and drinks… smh. Make an aisle in the back or between the tables and tell the server to stay away from the stage while someone is playing, at least unless you have to deliver a drink or plate to the table in the front — and even then, couldn’t you do it between songs instead of in the middle of a number? One last thing that might not totally be the club’s fault as it was a patron making most of the noise, but one guy was yakking it up loudly at the bar, part of the time with a staff member, during the acoustic numbers. The design of the club being wall-to-wall tables, I couldn’t easily walk to another area of the room to get away from the distracting noise. Please, please shush these people… for 20 bucks I want to hear the artist, not some guy jabbering with the bartender.

Great service. We LOVE the bar tender Ann!!! Awesome house made hand cut and sweet potato fries! Roast beef sliders are great! They come with au jus and a horse radish sauce for dipping. Quite tasty. Will be back again to try the sweet potato pie and variety of interesting selections on the menu. Also enjoyed eating the garnishments on the mixed drinks like orange slices, apple slices and a cinnamon stick to top it off. Nice touch for the autumn season. There is a lot of entertaining events going on here like comedy shows, musicians playing and on Thursdays they even have an art/painting class. This is definitely a fun place where you can enjoy a good time with friends and family.

Cool atmosphere. Went here for Browns Sunday. Lots of ladies, which is what I’ve been looking for in the Cleveland area. Beers were cheap and staff was great. Will be back.

We went on a night when there was no band playing. The bartenders(Michael, Tyler and Constance) were very friendly and mix an excellent cocktail. The Canadian Mule was definitely my favorite(basically a Moscow Mule with Canadian whiskey instead of vodka). We also took advantage of the Thursday night taco special. I got 3: chicken, pulled pork and chorizo. All three were good but the chorizo was my favorite.

Excellent cocktails at a reasonable price. Not to mention Michael is quite the friendly/knowledgeable bartender, who will not steer you in the wrong direction

I would actually give The Bevy more stars if it weren’t for one thing. We are constantly smothered when we walk in asking to pay for something. One night when we got there, we simply walked in the back to say hi to some friends when there was a buffet. We weren’t even eating, just wanted to say hi and we were forced to pay $ 10 each. I would have gladly paid but we just felt attacked. It was more than just that night. Every night we go we are approached immediately asking to pay money even if we just want a simple drink and dinner. I think something needs to change otherwise its going to deter people from coming. It’s a little tacky.

Terrible. To be fair, we didn’t stay long enough to order a drink so obviously we didn’t eat. Went to the back to see about the dancing situation & there was a horrible band playing. Lights were up too bright. Barely any dance floor and again, sucky band. Here’s a tip… use a DJ. They are cheaper than a band and can cater to all genres. Then, turn the freaking lights down. Nobody wants to get stupid under blaring lights. DUH! Maybe shrink that stage down by 2⁄3. Unless of course you’re expecting the Rolling Stones to drop by. I really had high hopes for the Bevy. I hope they can make. some changes. I was looking forward to a great dance spot where I could get good food and drink. I don’t want to go to dinner then go to drink then go to dance. People like to stay put, especially in the winter. I’m begging the Bevy to listen!!! I want to be a customer. Also…most of these 5 star reviews are from the owners. I get that you want ppl to come in, so why not make it awesome???

I loved The Bevy. Some of the best drinks I’ve ever tasted. Fantastic craft beer selection. Great food truck out front. Was a very enjoyable place to enjoy The Browns game. And the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I will defiantly go again.

Had a great time at the Bevy. Newly opened(a little over a month) they have a great selection of craft beers. They do have basic domestic beers too. The house created cocktails are delicious. Beer and drink prices are appropriate for the quality. The front bar is intimate. I love the wine bottle lights, purse hooks and USB/outlets! Looking forward for the restaurant and the back area to open!

The place is just like it was when it was a music bar. It has a nice atmosphere. I like the bar. However, the beer and drinks are way over priced. A pint of some regular beer was $ 6! Friend’s drink was $ 8 — gin and tonic I think, nothing fancy. Music was dance and pretty decent. Service OK. They did not have a menu yet. But there was a food truck parked outside.
