Spicy is my favorite. My absolute favorite. I like to get crispy beef tacos, and they do it right– a crispy homemade shell, well seasoned ground beef(that isn’t all drippy and make your shell soggy), lettuce tomato and cheese. It’s just good! The spicy salsa is so delicious too! My other go to is a bean tostada. They always pile it high with homemade beans and the fixings. I just love this place!

I don’t share the same love of this place as everyone else. Could just be personal preference. While you do get a lot of food for your money I didn’t think the chicken burrito I got was the good. It wasn’t enough for me to come back and try anything else here. The place is small inside and they have strange hours. They close at 2pm but are open early for breakfast.

Low on the ambiance scale but high on flavor and freshness. Also, extremely affordable. Not for your power lunch with a client, but a great place to grab inexpensive grub

The food is good here. I really like the breakfast burritos and this is one of the few places where I can get a breakfast burrito with a vegetarian green chile. I would have rated this place higher, but I am finding a consistent problem: Their website and signs in the restaurant encourage people to call in their order. Although they do have tables, they do seem to get most of their business from take-out. The reason for the 2 stars is, they don’t answer their phone to take the order! I would definitely order more from them if they would just answer their phone to take my order.

I ordered a bean burrito and a taco for lunch, and the food had ZERO flavor. The ground beef was overcooked, no salt, no pepper. No seasoning whatsoever. Good thing I ordered a side of the hot salsa to spice it up.

Excellent breakfast burrito this morning. Not skimpy on the meat. Very flavorful green chili sauce with just the right heat. And less than $ 5.00 !! Good sized too. Clean but not fancy. I will take a clean place with good, homemade food over fancy(overpriced!) any day!

I’ve been all over the Metro area looking for a good, affordable place to get a good burrito, and this place absolutely floored me. The food is prepared fresh by friendly folks, the décor is simple but welcoming, and they have free coffee with every purchase until 10:30. Can’t go wrong with that. The menu is robust, with everything available as a platter(with beans, rice, etc.) or $ 6.50 or a burrito for $ 3.75-$ 4.75, depending on whether it’s a breakfast it lunch item. You can have a chíle relleno burrito, or a steak platter, with your choice of salsa and a drink for under eight bucks. They also have a good $ 1.75 menu with tacos, cheeseburgers and other such add-ons, to help round out your meal. Add-ons include chips, sour cream, and other assorted fixins to step your taco or burrito up a notch. My favorites are the All Meat Breakfast Burrito($ 3.50 for eggs, cheese, potatoes, salsa, chorizo, ham, bacon, and sausage rolled into a tortilla barely capable of properly ensconcing the wonderfulness) or a chorizo soft taco with sour cream. The owners(or cooks?) have their culinary degrees on the wall in the friendly little lobby, and they put their know-how to fantastically good use. I find myself making excuses just to stop by here whenever possible.

Not too bad. Either they forgot to add green chile or it was extremely mild. Probably won’t go back.

I’m not sure this place is quite worth 3 stars, but being that it’s a smaller establishment, I didn’t want to dog on them too much. The food was pretty good, I ordered a California burrito with ranchera sauce since their green Chile is mild. They’re generous in their proportions, as the burrito was more than enough. No real complaints on the food, however they could work on customer service. When my food came out I asked for silverware and a glass of ice for my can of mountain dew(only thing on tap is water). The waiter pointed up front and said«everything’s up there» and turned and walked away. Not exactly the model of customer service. The interior is very bland as well, while the menu is overly simple yet complicated at the same time. Overall the food is pretty good, but I’m not sure I’ll be back. Plenty of other Mexican joints who’ll treat me like a customer, not a nuisance. Will update if I do return.

Great food! This place doesn’t look like much from the outside. Once I stepped in it smelled amazing. the food is very good. cheap tasty and filling, I have only been once I got the green chile burrito and chili cheese fries both were great.

This is the cheapest and best tasting mexican food. you have to try the chili cheese fries with green chili and sour cream! And under 3.00.a single taco is 1.25 shredded beef… their breakfast burritos are huge… I haven’t had anything bad here. in the am you get free coffee. .family run and very friendly. Downside is they are only open till 2pm and would love to bring my family for dinner… the green chili is a California green. spicy but so good even though I’m partial to my Pueblo green this is awesome. keep up the good work and affordable prices. love it here.

Well, after seeing the ratings I had to try it… around 9AM on a wednesday… It doesn’t look terribly inviting from the outside, or the inside for that matter. Nonetheless, I have to give it a try, and order a bacon burrito smothered with ranchero sauce. A few minutes later I received my burrito and walked out — as it was a takeout order. What I received was a chicken burrito instead. However I like chicken, so I had a chicken burrito breakfast. A minor mix up I guess. The size in the flavors were outstanding. And I was happy to see that they didn’t smother it with sour cream and cheese like most low end Mexican joints. Conclusion, I will just that you consider this a take out restaurants unless you are in super casual mode.

You have to swing by this very inexpensive great Mexican restaraunt. From their handmade menus, to broken English it brings back great memories of south of the border, with prices to match. It’s interior is underwhelming AND so friggen good. Why go to Chipotle when the real thing is here. I eat the best burrito I’ve ever had for only 4 bucks. The guy across the way charges me $ 9 for a bowel of noodles! For a week their credit card machine was down but they kept a handwritten list of people who bought food, who does that? I get the chicken gourmet with extra sour cream and beans… oh man I eat this every week. Fresh veggies are cut up on the grill so you get the good stuff. The owner stands right there and makes everything fresh. I love this place!

Quick lunch on a Tuesday after 1pm. Limited hours(7 – 2) but bfast burritos all day as a trade off. Got a small all meat bfast burrito to go– proprietor said it would be ready in 4 minutes and boom, there it was. Ate and walked back to work, killer fix. Worth the detour for sure, great deals.
