Love this place! Best donuts in the city of Lakewood! Mrs. Lee a very nice owner and very welcoming! Clean and huge selection of delicious donuts. She makes the best birthday donut cake and I heard she will be making bacon maple donuts Mmmmm.

This is the best mom and pop… no, scratch that. This is the best donut shop I’ve ever went to (outside of my mother in laws donut shop in Dallas), lol. But, seriously. The selection is great, and the quality and taste can’t be beat. I drove around for international donut day trying to find a donut and ended up somewhere else that was… meh– and that place happened to have great reviews. I forgot the name, though. But, after finally getting to Mr. K’s, i won’t go anywhere else in the long beach area.
Image this if you can… The donuts are perfect. They are lightly crispy around the edges and soft and fluffy in the middle. They’re dead center of being thick like a cake donut and airy like a crispy cream donut. You have to have to see what I’m talking about.
Not to mention, you might fall in love with the sweet lady that owns it. Her personality would make my day if the donuts weren’t already doing that.
Her (the store owner) favorite… she told me was the blueberry one. It almost tastes like a fluffy waffle.
