My appointment with Carol was such a bad experience I would never go back and I would not recommend her to anyone. I want to explain why it was so bad, but I’m not sure words can convey the bizarre experience. Carol’s behavior was whacky — she seemed to be operating on super-speed, talking and moving super fast(panic-level fast), and her whole demeanor was super INTENSE. I was really shocked by it and wondered if she was on drugs or had drank 20 cups of coffee or something? I could think of no other explanation for her unnatural behavior. She was talking so fast I couldn’t take in what she was saying and I felt nervous being near her… she seemed very on edge. She did not take the time to properly explain anything to me. When I asked questions, she was very impatient/irritated and brushed them off as if they were insignificant. She seemed annoyed that I was asking questions, as if I should already know everything on my own. It was my first time getting a colon-cleanse and it would have been nice to have the experience with someone who made sure I felt comfortable with the process and explained things to me. But this was the exact opposite of that, instead I felt unsafe to be in such a vulnerable position with this woman who was so on edge and was not exhibiting normal human behavior. Initially, she told me to remove my clothes, lay on the table, and cover myself with a sheet. She left the room while I did this and I had just barely gotten situated on the table when she came charging back in, pulled the sheet off of me without any warning and began the process. Typically, medical professionals exhibit a little more care and sensitivity in these types of scenarios, giving you a heads-up when they’re about to expose your body or do something in a sensitive area like your nether regions… but not Carol, she was in a huge rush. I felt in danger in this position with this woman, because she was so ungrounded and didn’t seem entirely in reality or aware of how she was acting. This is a really sensitive area to be working in and I don’t think Carol is the right person for this job at all and it seemed like she didn’t really want to do the job either. After she started the machine, she left the room in a flash with little instruction. I felt unsure if I was doing it right and had questions, but she just rushed out and I realized that even if I asked them I wouldn’t get a decent explanation and she would just become more irritated. There were no other patients there, yet she was in this extremely intense rush… while I was laying there I heard her stomping back and forth through the office, charging around throwing doors open. At one point, it sounded like she left the office entirely and left me there alone. I felt very anxious the whole time I was laying there, because I was just waiting for her to throw open the door, yank the sheet off of me again, and command me to jump off the table. It was such an uneasy feeling being around her. At the end of the appointment — I went to the register to pay and Carol started spouting off a list of foods I was not supposed to eat for 24 hours. She was talking super fast of course and I could barely take in what she was saying. I said«Wait, I need to write this down or I’ll forget…» and I opened my purse to get a pen. Carol quickly said«No, you don’t» and seemed irritated, as if I was stupid for not already knowing this. She couldn’t even take the time to provide me with proper after-care instructions. It was so unprofessional and irresponsible. I got out my credit card to pay for my appointment, but Carol wanted to sell me more treatments. She offered me packages for multiple sessions. When I wasn’t interested and just wanted to pay for the one, she suddenly started launching into an explanation of how the process worked and why I needed many more treatments. The whole time I was there she hadn’t taken any time to explain anything to me, she was too irritated to answer my questions, and spent probably less than 2 minutes total time with me throughout the entire appointment. But now that it comes time to pay and I’m not interested in buying more sessions with her — now suddenly she wants to explain to me how it all works and why I need dozens more treatments. Riiiiiight… When I told her that I just wanted to pay for the one treatment, the forced smile she had on her face dropped and she was clearly unhappy that I didn’t want to give her more money. Overall, this was one of the worst medical-type appointments I have ever had in my life. Carol was on edge, unprofessional, uncaring, impatient, did not answer my questions, did not provide proper after-care instructions, and I felt unsafe undergoing this treatment with her. Aside from the possibility of drugs or extreme over-caffeination — I have no idea how to explain her intense and bizarre behavior. She was irritable and not operating with any self-awareness.
