I’ll keep this one short and sweet. Four of us ate lunch there. Two of us got sick. Chorizo did not agree with me. Chicken tacos did not agree with my mom. I asked for retried beans and it turns out they put flour in their beans. I never thought beans were so expensive that you needed to add water and flour to stretch them. Tacos: Melted cheese all over the sides made them hard to eat without getting all greasy. Extra napkins please… Not my cup of tea and I’ll have to try a new place blindly before I go back. I was told the best thing they have is the drawing for the big screen. They should stop paying for big screens and start putting the money into the food.

The steak chili rellenos are amazing. I always make a point of eating here when I visit Colorado. This is the only dish I’ve ever tried because why mess with perfection! The fried icecream is the bomb!

The customer service was great! Everyone was really nice and attentive. The food, however, was not so good. The chili taste like bad amd was gelatin like. The salsa taste like tomato sauce and the chicken was dry. Never again.

It was a nice place I am visiting from California. I was upset about my chile relleno. The owner came out and apologize and made me a plate to my satisfaction. Key to a successful business it’s ALWAYS making it RIGHT for the custumers. Honestly I was very upset bit after Mr. GREGORIO talked to me I even felt sorry for feeling the way I did. Very pleasent place to eat at. He reminded me of a father.

Went with my family to have breakfast on day and I ordered pancakes. But when I bit into the first couple of bites I found a sharp piece of something in the pancake. I spit it out and found that it was a piece of the plate. When I told our waiter about it he called the owner over, he said that it must have come in the mix and I asked him how a piece of porcelain would be in the mix and he explained that sometimes beans have rocks in them. That is the craziest nonsense I have ever heard. After all that I was still expected to pay for my meal which was ridiculous since I didn’t eat anything. He said that things like that always happen in the restaurant business, customer service is part of the restaurant business and this restaurant has none. Worst experience ever.

This place is a hidden gem! Food is excellent and cheap! I got the combination plate B with a taco, chile relleno and onion and cheese enchilada for $ 10. Smothered in delicious red pork chile.

Save your money and go elsewhere I eat Mexican food probably more than most Mexican people do, and this has to be the worst Mexican I’ve ever had . I’m not exaggerating, Taco Bell is better . The beans taste like canned beans, the enchiladas taste like they came from a TV dinner. Two bites and me and my wife walked out. Even the salsa was bad, the best part of this place was the bottled Coke. I don’t understand how this restaurant is still in business after all these years.

I would compare this food to a frozen hungry man dinner. The beans and rice were old, and my enchilada was anything but editable.

Good local Mexican food with friendly service. I’ve been when the lots full of cars and was still able to get a table quickly. Bonus — FREE chips and salsa… always hard to beat.

This was my first visit to Gregorio’s. Very friendly staff and seemed to be quite the neighborhood place to eat. Cozy and quaint and nearby. I was pleased. The Tamales Plate was delicious with a nice green chili sauce. I have eaten some pretty dried tamales. Not these. Good job kitchen. We will be back.

Ok– I’ve been struggling to find a great Mexican restaurant . That being said we really wanted Mexican last night — this spot was close so we stop in! It was a busy Saturday night and we were sat in the back — we both order a combo plate with no meats The guys working were pleasant and brought us drinks. the Horchata was good Our food comes soon after … I have to say it was okay. pretty standard The enchilada wasent as good as the chili relleno But I would not say it was bad at all… The bill came and I was $ 30 .I thought that was a bit much .but whatever I guess the search continues !!!

Awesome neighborhood Mexican place to grab some food. I just had one of the best steak burritos of recent memory. Only the steak burrito at Los Dos Patrillos is better. I wish the salsa was a bit thicker. However I really am just grasping at straws. Their horchata was great and they will get that 5th star when I’m not on a lunch break and can try a margarita.

Food was horrible! ! Had no flavor nor seasoning. I used to go to this place when I was young and it was way better than it is now. The green«chilli» was watered down with chunks of un seasoned pork. Was not even remotely spicy. Very disappointed will not go back! Not worth my money.

What a find!!! I had the most delicious Streak Rellenos ever. The owner came to our table to greet us. Service was great, food proportions large and delicious. Atmosphere was not special in any way. It looked like a takeout sub shop. I only hope I get to visit Denver again, because I can taste tis delight once more. Yum!

Def a neighborhood gem! Service is great– the owner came to our table a couple times to check on us. Our waiter was pleasant and kept our drinks filled… And the food was fantastic! I ordered fried flour tacos(off menu) and my gf had cheese enchiladas both portions were well sized. If we lived in town this would be a weekly spot! Enjoy it locals– we’re jealous that we’re not closer!

I would classify this restaurant as a neighborhood gem. The Mexican food was definitely solid. My husband had the huevos rancheros and absolutely loved them. I had a combination which was pretty good. I really liked that the tostada shell was shaped almost like a taco shell. So smart! Why doesn’t any other restaurant do this? Otherwise all of the stuff falls off. I’m not sure that I would drive terribly far out of my way to come here. But I would definitely be back if I were in the area. The prices are reasonable and the service was good.

So you think that all Mexican restaurants offer large food portions? You haven’t seen a large portion until you have visited this place. Their plates are mounds of food piled so high that it’s almost like watching an episode of «Man vs Food.» This would be great if their food was delicious but sadly, this is not the case. Gregorio’s food is somewhat bland and lacking in both spice and flavor. Mediocre American– Mexican blend at best. On a positive note, the waiting staff if very attentive.

I decided to return for breakfast. Very disappointing! I ordered the chorizo omelette, the eggs were dry and over-cooked. I won’t be back.
