Good News Barber

WOW!!! I needed a haircut pretty bad, I was looking for a good place to go, I read some reviews on here and thought yeah ill give it a try. I got there, told them how i wanted my hair, and it was exactly how i pictured it. plus the massage at the end, super awesome. well worth it. good prices, very friendly, walk in haircut, didn’t even make a reservation. I will for sure go back.

I love this barber shop. The staff is kind and friendly and always do a lovely job. Military cuts or whatever cuts, they do great work. I have been coming here weekly for years and I will continue coming.

Did not know the lady was Korean, but most places named after the Gospel are owned predominantly by them.
Anyways, hate getting haircuts like going to the hospital, but she did it quick and was very friendly. Only $ 8 before tip! There’s two other barbers right next to this place, but this one seemed quiet so I went in. Then, it started getting busy a few minutes later with families. Can tell a lot of soldiers come in cause it’s cheap, and she can buzz cut fast. Definitely going back!

The ladies at this barber shop are amazing. I have 3 boys who I often bring to them with full heads of hair a plenty.
They cater to their customers, are extremely fast and good at what they do. Also, they are terrific with kids. Great place, probably the best shop in lakewood.

I get a military style hair cut. If that what your looking for these are the ladies for you.

Well, the ladies there are very nice and you receive a warm welcome, but it seems that they only know how to give one type of haircut. Dealing with mostly military members, they are efficient at giving you a military haircut, but if you want a style cut, go somewhere else. Having longer hair on the top of my head, I asked simply for a light trim off the top, which anywhere else means using scissors and a comb, but here it meant taking a #3 guard and buzzing the top of my head. This is the second time I have gone there that they have cut my hair shorter than I asked. After finishing the haircut, they give you a 30 second shoulder and neck massage. Haircuts cost about $ 9 before tip. Will not be coming back here.
