We get delivery all the time from here, and the customer service is fast, efficient and courteous. The delivery time is typical for a local pizza place, and usually the food comes early. The pizzas are large and delicious– they have the option of green chilies for toppings! The crust is not the most aged(flavorful), but I’m pretty picky about my crust. Overall, five stars because my boyfriend loves it, and it has become our go-to.

This what my dad would call a supper club. Small and an older crowd. Everyone at our table enjoyed their food, most things came with a soup and salad and the prices very reasonable. I have rated it so low however for how disgustingly dirt the glasses were. Every single glass on our table, weather it be water, wine or tea either had smudges or bits of food stuck to them. We wouldn’t go back because of the cleanliness of the place. Their Take out though, sure.

We’ve been going to Garramone’s for years — guess it’s about time that I write a review. I like Garramone’s — duh — wouldn’t keep going back for years if I didn’t like it. But I don’t love it. It’s a neighborhood mom and pop place, and I have a definite affinity for neighborhood mom and pop places — I try my best to love them. I think I could love Garramone’s, but they would have to step up their game in a few domains for that to happen. Their parking lot could use some attention. Even more importantly, so could the dining rooms — they haven’t much changed in years and they’re getting pretty tired — scuffs, stains and tears. Worse yet, they’re not always clean — I’m not talking filth, but food on the floor, tables that haven’t been bussed, etc. The common theme is neglect — both short-term and longer term. Likewise, their service is fine — not memorable — friendly enough — attentive enough — but not«impressive.» Garramone’s food is consistently good. My favorites are the Little Bambino sandwich(Italian submarine), Pepperoni Pizza(the pepperoni itself is great — small in diameter, thick and spicy — better than the pepperoni in 95% of other pizza emporiums and generously applied), Homestyle Spaghetti(homemade — thick) with Italian Sausage, Garramone’s Special(Raviolis, Spaghetti, Meatball and Sausage), and Eggplant Parmesan. There are four sauces to choose from and the Spicy Marinara really does have some bite. Dinners come with soup, salad, bread and coffee or tea. The minestrone is good but sometimes served more tepid than hot. Value at Garramone’s is good — typical pizza prices and you can’t pay much more than $ 13 for a complete dinner no matter how hard you try. C’mon Garramone’s — I really do like you. But I want to love you. I’m like the Little Engine That Could — I think I can, I think I can, I think I can …

The food and service are good but there is definitely room for improvement. They do have pretty good pizza. It’s a shame the management doesn’t clean(see my photos) the place regularly and put some money into updating the finishes. You can tell the owner/management just doesn’t care. I’ll probably return in several months just to see if anything’s changed, if it hasn’t I’ll probably never return again.

I was told about this place by a friend who raved about the calzone(Stromboli). Hugh let down!!! I may have went in with supper high expectation; but I was very disappointed. I would of rather went to old Chicago. I went here because I was told the sausage was amazing and probably from the Italian deli next door, it was not amazing and if that’s the sausage next door has;I want none of it. It tasted like a boiled link. If you want to know what amazing sausage taste like try the crumble sausage on a Tony P’s pizza now that’s amazing sausage. My wife had the manicotti and it was BAD!!! Since when is ricotta cheese straight from the tub from walmart and stuffed in a boiled half falling apart shell good enough to be call manicotti. Interior was very dated early 80’s «plastic plant vibe», much like the average age of the patrons(60’s and annoyed with kids). Very much old suburbia lakewood. I will not be back.

I have been eating here since I was born. so I love this place!!! it is always great!!! they have the best homemade spaghetti hands down!!! I am in love with their sauce. the Stromboli’s are the best I have ever had and compare others to these. the pizza dough is fresh hand hand rolled! I can’t say enough about this place and go there or get take out(I am way outside the delivery area) at least once a month. it is amazeballs!!!

This place is pathetic. Il start with the things that don’t involve the food. First off the servers wear their pajamas to work it’s straight offensive. The joint looks like it hasn’t been vacuumed since they opened the doors in 1982 or whenever this place began it’s miserable life. Server was an amateur at best, forgetting to take my girlfriends drink order after I said if have water. They put these hideous fake flowers on the table to act like their doing us a favor dining with them. First the soup and salad come out. Salad is brown romaine topped with processed pepperoni slices, a torn up Kraft single, and drenched in some terrible dressing. Soup was a minestrone that made Campbell’s look like 5 star cuisine. Straight mush. Next the main course, oh my god. Kroger pasta with some sloppy sauce that tasted similar to ketchup. On top were 2 microwaved sausage logs. This joint is disgusting. Food was like warm. Get a soda to wash this place down if you eat there, if give it no stars if I could.

I was pretty skeptical after reading the reviews on Unilocal, and as I am a food snob… But my client wanted to go there and it was convenient. I had the Italian stand by meal of lasagna, salad and Minestrone. The side salad was fine, the minestrone was fair and the Lasagna was fair. Specifically, the Lasagna needed more Rosemary in the sauce and more cheese on top… The sauce volume was not overwhelming, but it needed more flavor. Good service and quaint setting… My clients pie looked good, but I didn’t sample it.

Truly an unfortunate excuse for an Italian restaurant. I have no idea where the 3 star reviews came from…

Our friends have been telling us about this place for months, we got to-go dinner for our anniv. Glad we tried it! Dinners were both good, lasagne was a little small. Everything was fresh and very flavorful, dessert was great. Glad we did to-go because the restaurant is very tired, smells great but needs some remodeling.

Expensive for what tastes like a frozen pizza. Nothing special about it at all. Iceburg lettuce and tomatoes alone, do not a salad make.

I went for lunch. a meatball sub. It was good… not great, certainly not bad. Service was good… same thing, not great, but certainly not bad. I would go again at night with the family and try the pizza.

The prices are a couple dollars higher than they should be for what you get. My daughter had the cheese ravioli. It came out cold. My Fetta Alfredo was okay, but nothing special at all. Very bland and boring, very little sauce. It was lacking. Getting our waitresses attention was hard. The three waitresses were standing near the window where the food came out but were talking, joking and goofing around. Finally one of the other waitresses noticed my attempts to get some attention and sent our waitress over. I had to do that a second time in order to actually pay and leave. Her tip reflected her lack of caring.

By far my favorite Italian place! It was a party in my mouth! Love the eggplant. diablo sauce. So yummy. I haven’t had anything bad here… the place looks like it could use a remodel and sometimes the staff is a lil slow. but our overall experience was great. looking forward to Friday date nights here

I love this place. I went once when I was a teenager with my dad and had the homemade spaghetti which was amazing. Then, a couple weeks ago I went back with my family and my boyfriend for Sunday lunch and we got pizza which was also amazing. My parents and sister love this place and go whenever they have an excuse to. My boyfriend, who has lived in Lakewood pretty much all his life had never been and didn’t even know it existed, but he loved it too. I would love to go back with him and make him try something other than the pizza. They make all their sausage and pasta and you can tell. It’s worth a try for sure. Plus I’ve never gone there and had a bad experience with a waiter and I haven’t heard anything like that from my parents either who go more often than I do. The review is missing a star because I sat down excited to try their sweet tea my sister said was just like the sweet tea we enjoy in the south and when we asked for some, they didn’t have any. Will try again next time.

I have been going to Garramone’s for years with my family. They have great food, friendly service, and reasonable prices. Their Italian dinners run between $ 10-$ 15, but include iced tea or coffee, soup, salad, and bread. I usually order the eggplant parmesan, which is fantastic. The eggplant is nice and crispy and there is plenty of melted cheese. The pizzas and canolis are both delicious as well. I have always had quick, friendly service. Baked dinners take longer than others to prepare, but with both soup and salad prior to the meal, the wait is fairly short. The restaurant is fairly small so it is not ideal for large groups, but definitely a good place for a night out with the family or a small group of friends.

We went here for the first time today. We live close, and had never heard of it. Now I know why. The place was dead for dinner on Sunday. We were waited on promptly, which was great! When the soup came, it was obviously from a can and gross. The salad was iceburg and tomatoes, which were old. My boyfriend ordered a baked dish, which takes longer, but when our food came out his was hot, and mine was iced cold. I sent it back, and our waitress had to ask the kitchen four times to heat it back up. These are just the highlights. We will not be back, which is a shame because we live to support small businesses.

Always great food and service. Been going here since my family moved to this area and have always had great meals and service. You should also try their sister restaurant Pietras on 44th and field in Arvada

It isn’t exactly award winning food, but it is good nonetheless and the staff does an excellent job of making you feel welcome. I like the fact that it’s tiny and tucked away. I think it’s worth a try if you’ve never been, even if there is better italian food in lakewood. Prices are very reasonable.
