In response to the ppl who had reservation/overbooking issues, I got my deal through groupon and then had to go to their website to enter the groupon code and it worked, we had 8 of our own plus 4 strangers we met at the site. And the«boss» took a call on his personal cell phone to explain how to use groupon on their website, so we had no booking issues.(And i was reluctant to even use groupon b/c of the overbooking review) But it sucks for them, I’m not dismissing their complaint, just saying i had an exceptionally good experience dealing w/the boss as well. As to the rest. My first ‘escape room’ but as a fairly good puzzle solver(and i had the MVP) i was always skeptical of escape rooms, my friends convinced me to do it. Didnt even realize i was the«mvp» till they gave superlatives at the end, actually i thought i did nothing while my wife and friends scribed and assemebled things, while i just searched for new clues feeding them the info, I had no idea what they were doing and always felt lost. Anyhow, i thought the premise was very well done, one friend had recently gone to a an expensive one in Orlando but really like this one. So props, im only giving a «4» b/c i have no comparison but i really think it was good!

We booked our reservation online through their website(8 of us were all going for our sons 17th birthday), drove almost 50 minutes to their location, arrived 15 minutes early, and was told so sorry, we’re overbooked for this time slot, someone has to go home. Apparently two other groups(5 in one, 2 in the other) were also registered for that slot. We offered to wait an hour and go in after the other groups but that compromise was turned down without an explanation as to why. The other groups showed no sign of backing out so I made the decision to have our group leave and request a refund. Book this event at your own risk, and don’t travel too far to get there, you might be going home before it even begins.

Did this with my family members. We had a complete blast. Worth every penny. We didn’t make it out alive but we got very close. The age range in our group was 11 – 49 and everyone was able to contribute in a meaningful way. I would recommend going in with a large group because there are a lot of clues to piece together all while avoiding and/or distracting the zombie. Good luck
