Stopped in here one day for a late lunch. This place lacks atmosphere and identity. Part sushi bar, part café, part sports bar. No thanks. Prices are on the higher side. $ 12 for fried rice is definitely up there. Food was pretty good but the overall experience was meh. Tuk Tuk Thai is where it’s at. This place is where it’s not.

I live in Thailand about half the time and own a condo there. I’VE eaten my share of REAL Thai food. This is an Americanized version of Thai food. Bland, and not very good. Big portions of not so authentic Thai food. Like most Asian restaurants around here. they seem to want to second guess the customers and tone down the food. Not impressed. Try Saigon Café in Hudson Bend… much better.

Came in for early lunch on a Monday at around 6 pm. There were probably six other tables, which means the restaurant was more than half empty. The décor is OK if you don’t mind the hospital green walls. After ordering I waited exactly 26 minutes for my \food to arrive. I got chicken lemongrass, which is not a complex dish. In fact, it was mostly a chicken salad. Tasty and fresh, but not impressive. I never got the hot green tea I asked for. The table was plain, there was no soy or chili sauce or a waitress nearby to ask for one. On the positive side, the menu is quite varied: sushi, curry, traditional thai and some Chinese. My meal was good, so I plan to come back to give them another chance.
