I had a large picture I needed framed, but it was an awkward size so I was going to needed it custom framed. I looked around at Arron Brothers, and Michaels and I would be spending a minimum of $ 170. I only spent $ 60 and the quality of wood, backing, and glass are supreme to what I was quoted at the other stores. St. Clair Gallery located in Lakeside was so impressive because she had such a large selection of wood that I could choose from, and Carolyn has such a creative eye she can help you choose.

As an artist, it’s very important that my artwork be framed carefully and professionally. I recommend St. Clair Gallery and Framing. They are especially affordable without sacrificing quality!

I recently got a professional certification and was worried about the cost of framing it… knew it could cost anywhere from $ 150-$ 300 so had put off the project. Then a friend pointed me to Carolyn St Clair and her amazing work. For $ 75 she made the most amazing custom thriple-mat, glassed, mahogany frame for my certificate, and it looks amazing! I can’t begin to say enough great things about her work. Bottom line — - Forget Michaels or Aaron Brothers. They can’t even come close. I have a cross stitch I am frantically working to finish because I can’t wait to have her frame it… and had delayed finishing it for many years because I knew the cost of framing could be prohibitive. Not anymore! Update— the cross stitch framing turned out spectacular! 15 years ago I had a similar cross stitch framed…$ 300…better quality with Carolyn, 15 year later, $ 200. She also framed my dog painting, and some other artwork. Bottom line, she’s amazing.
