Shoot Straight

Very patient and helpful staff, my first gun and they were more than willing to educate me on the basics.

Got a few guns here for descent prices. Bought both used and was very pleased.

The guys there offered me $ 10.00 off on the gun I wanted to purchase. So I called the Shoot Straight in Tampa in front of them because I saw the gun in there for less… long story short ended up saving over $ 100.00…Will never go back!

Usually friendly service, though not always. Decent prices on guns and ammo. Nice range. No Air conditioning on their range which is indoor and like an oven.

I have bought a couple of guns from here and have always incountered friendly/​knowledgable employees. I was even able to test shoot the gun I was thinking about buying. The gun range is also very nice and they havn’t been strict about timing your stay. You also have the option of renting a gun or rifle from them.

Very clean, very large gun store with an indoor shooting range on the premises. Unfortunately you cannot shoot here without becoming a member, so it’s not too feasible for out-​of-​towners. Though, honestly, why anyone would go anywhere else after visiting Tenoroc is beyond me.
Counter help at Shoot Straight is friendly and willing to help with any selection. They seem to know their stock.
There was a sales table set up with some nice deals on Sig Sauers (mostly P250’s), as well as some Smiths, but the the prices on new, non-​sales item guns are pretty steep. They want $ 689 for a Ruger Mark III Hunter .22. That typically sells for high $ 400’s, low $ 500’s. I did not compare every make/​model they carry with my mental database of what things should cost, but that Ruger really threw me for a loop.
I still think it’s worth coming here to see what they have, but definitely shop around and know basic, acceptable pricing before plopping down hard-​earned money.
