Sometimes I come here and I get excellent service, and friendly waitresses. Other times I feel like they are doing me a favor by me ordering food, a drink, and even getting utensils etc… I prefer Wing House, but Hooters is sometimes more convenient so I rool the dice to see if I get a waitress that cares. The food is great.

I am not normally that guy but, I really feel like all of this needs to be known! I came in this evening around 8:15 — 8:30 and took a seat at the bar. The young lady who was bartending was quick to greet me and take a drink order and this is where it starts going downhill. I ordered a soda and she got that for me but failed to ask if I would like to see a menu, I had to ask her for one after a couple of minutes. So I placed my order for a basic burger and fries nothing to complicated. I waited about 8 to 10 minutes for it that’s not a bad ticket time, but when I received the dish the burger was pure grease and every fry on the plate was luke warm at best. I would have addressed this issue with the bartender however, she was extremely frazzled and running around like a chicken with her head cut off. I was there approximately 25 minutes and in that time she screamed not once but twice as if though she had seen a ghost, as well as whirling around with another group of guys pitcher of beer and spilled a quarter of it as well as poured almost a full mixed drink onto the bar mat because she was so unattentive. I only received my food after she yelled at someone else to deliver it for her, and upon delivery I had to get up from the bar and go to a table to get salt and ketchup. She never checked back on me until after I had ate the meal, and she acted very annoyed at the fact that I had ordered a soda rather than a alcoholic beverage. I had planned on sticking around and having a drink or two but not after this experience. She made plenty of time for her what I’m assuming was a regular or perhaps even boyfriend as she chatted them up the majority of the time I was there being ignored! That’s not even the worst part of the experience though! The what I’m assuming was the manager was on the floor watching all of this go down and he did nothing to help her or myself. He just paced from one side of the bar to the other with a scowl on his face! I realize it’s thanksgiving and I’m sure he didn’t want to be there but he signed up for the position at least try to be helpful to someone if you’re going to be on the clock. I’ve been in the service industry for years on all sides from back to front of the house and in a management role as well, that’s why I didn’t want to do this but someone really needs to take a look at what’s going on here and address these issues! Just because you’re the only place open it doesn’t mean that you can shirk you’re responsibility to provide for a good experience to you’re guests. I’m new to the area and really enjoy coming to hooters and I’ll continue coming, just not to this location anymore. If I could I’d give this experience 0 stars but lucky for you the lowest I can go is 1.

I always like stopping here on the way back from Disney. The atmosphere is great and it doesn’t seem dirty at all like some of the other hooters I have been to. I am not going to spend a lot of time fluffing up this review like one of the Unilocalers in that South Park episode, describing how every taste bud was elevated to a level of sheer ecstasy as soon as I bit into my juicy buffalo chicken wrap with the perfect balance of deliciousness and quantity. All you need to know is the food is great, the service is great, and I have no complaints at all.

WOW!!! A cheeseburger that actually COMESWITH fries, and cheese. What a concept! Had a great burger here, all inclusive meal. They should teach this method to the idiots at the Sarasota Hooters, who charge you EXTRA for the fries, EXTRA for the cheese; nickel and diming people for all they can. Not to mention, the best looking staff I think I’ve seen at ANY Hooters !!!

Best place in Lakeland to get wings and beer. Always has fast service and the food is always on point. Only downside of the place is some of the locations for TVs bad angles for watching games/fights but they will do their best to get you a good angle. Wednesdays are all you can eat wings for 11.99 which is a steal of a deal for wings in Lakeland.

Went here with some family that was here visiting from out of town and I must say it was good. The food was hot and the service was good which you don’t find in to many places especially here in lakeland. I will definitely be back

It’s Hooters… what do you expect? The food is not that great… the girls are cute and the beer is usually cold. If you’re going to Hooters for anything expecting more than that then you’re sadly delusional. Just accept it for what it is and move on. The Daytona wings are pretty good and if you couple that with a cold Big Daddy and some big boobs and a cute smile… then dinner was FANTASTIC!

Stopped in for lunch today with a co worker. Two sodas, two salads, and a $ 30.55 bill . Wow, crazy high. Food was good, service was good. Prices way too high, I added a tip and now I am over 35 dollars, for a lunch. Portion was average size also.

Crappy food. Good atmosphere. The girls are clothed top less dancers. Very flirty looking for a compliment and a HUGE tip. It’s no wonder why I won’t go back

Well i am a fan of hooters but i think because it might have been a busy night when we went. The only thing that made up for it was the customer service we received. We were sat in a high foot traffic area next to a window and the AC so it was freezing. Our waitress was very bubbly and smiled a lot, even tho i could tell she was faking it… its nice to know we were worth the effort. My Husband ordered something he wasn’t really wild about… and the manager came over and took it off the bill for us. I deff think they deserve another chance maybe during the day time on a weekday lol. Food was just what i expected… in a good way.

Good wings, but expensive now, $ 18.79 for 20, and they charge extra for celery & blue cheese. I guess with the popularity of wings, there must be a shortage ;-)

The service is what I’m giving the two stars for… We ordered blue cheese & she brought out the meal & we only received ranch(common mistake), but upon asking for more she hesitated to even bring out some, and responded with, «I can show you the difference by the dots in it.» I get it’s part of their job to act sorta dumb, but c’mon just get the blue cheese already. Also in my opinion why ask if a person needs a refill, once the cup gets below half just grab another, she continually asked if we needed more to the point of annoyance. Other than that not to bad. If you’re a wings person, here’s your place. Their shrimp were fantastic along with the curly fries. You’d be ahead to wear a jacket in, it’s beyond freezing, even for it being summer.

Struggling between 2 or 3 stars here… This Hooters is tucked into a tough corner near I-4, getting out often a problem. But I had a hankering for their infamous wings. Almost had the place to myself – but the music was still BLARING as if a party was going on. This Hooters includes low tables and booths – seems more family friendly than the South FL location. Got a hick hostess with no sense. I asked for a «near» table, she still wanted to walk me six tables down towards the noise, ignoring my flagging at her and shouting the first table was fine. Then the«clean» table was sticky. Once I got past the one-star«foreplay» it turned out to be a decent experience. The waitress was great, attentive and quick. I enjoyed trying their fried dill pickles($ 6) with a tangy sauce followed by 10 boneless wings in their medium original sauce. I think I got just as much meat boneless as I would’ve gotten with all the gnawing, at the same price($ 9) and a whole lot less mess. Just the right heat. Bleu cheese dipping sauce. I paid .69 for celery which used to come with a set of wings. boohoo but didn’t break the bank. They’re a Pepsi place so had water to cool the tongue. I would’ve settled on 3-stars but I felt sick the next three hours and I hate the awkwardness of being served by half-naked women being taught that sex sells. Whether it was their food quality or my fried choices is still unknown. But it was enough of a «sick» feeling and combo poor experience to not need a Hooters wings fix for another couple years.
