This guy is PURE CHICAGO !
Not only does he roll into the city to the delight of late night drinkers, he makes emergency deliveries too! Be sure to grab his mini-​menu, so you can order any time the need hits you.
Fantastic meats, volcanic horse radish, great cheeses and other delicacies are what he’s all about.
Several times, I’ve purchased salami and summer sausage, only to find that he slipped in some extra sauces, garnishes, cheeses or hot dogs. Every single time, its been a total bonus!

I haven’t seen him in well over a year, but the Sausage Guy leaves a memorable impression. Nothing is better than complimenting a beer with his company and personally selected samples of sausage, cheese, homemade horseradish, etc. There is something magical about bumping into the sausage guy on a night of bar wandering — like seeing a gnome while walking through the woods…

So if you are a late night week night drinker, you too may have come to meet GI Joe the sausage guy. I saw him at underbar last night handing out free samples. I didn’t need the samples i knew I needed some summer sausage. Ordered a 15 dollar summer sausage and received summer sausage with some cheeses and the total became 20… that’s how GI Joe rolls… he’s a hustler but he’s giving you a discount with the cheeses. It’s simple great food, and I am always happy to see his truck pull up out front.
