Taco Cabana

I love Taco Cabana but beware of this location by far the worst customer service & longest wait. I have tried to get food from this location several times. I manage to order my food (Drive Thru) and then the 30+ minute wait begins. It’s easier to just drive off…

Well, dropped in for a few tacos and here I am waiting 20 minutes later… there are 10 people here… probably 6 working… this is ridiculous!!! Do Not waste your time on this place!!!

Should have trusted the review, 45 minute wait for a number 6 with no one in line as I waited, which I found extremely odd. They ending up refunding me back and the people in front of me… Won’t be back again

This franchise… I’m a HUGE fan of.
I can make quite a few healthy choices at this (fast food) joint.
But…
THIS location… in the (EL DUB)…
SSSSSSUUUUUUUUUCKSSSSSS a giant bag of donkey dicks!
It’s a responsible alternative, for my family of 5 since the Chick-​Fil-​A right next door is usually PACKED!
The last 3 times in a row that we’ve chose to dine in…
We’ve received INCOMPLETE orders!
Tonight… It was my turn. I ordered the 8 oz black beans, and the 3 street tacos. The other 4 members of the fam all got they’re stuff.
I had to wait 10 – 15 min for my tacos.
I won’t be coming here again… And strongly recommend that y’all don’t either.
Ooooooooohhhhhhhhh…

Took 25 mins to get my order of nachos. Really? It was just nachos… Manager came out to apologize then offered a discount for the next time I go. The manager never came back to give us anything. Then noticed 3 other customers were complaining about the slowness of the service. Food I give 3 stars service –2 stars

Not the cleanest place. But not the worst. I eat here so it’s not too bad. However the food never disappoints (but I only eat one thing) and that’s the real reason I keep coming back. I will say that I am kind of shocked that this is considered fast food and the idea that waiting 20-​minutes for food seems okay to them is alarming.
What do I suggest? Street Tacos all the way!

Slowest fast food place ever! 28 mins in the drive thru get to the window pay and now sitting for another 10!!! Never ever again!!!

Very poor food. Greasy and bland for the beef, greasy and salty mush for the chicken. Way overpriced and not worth it at a lower price. Taco Bell is better than this. Will not return to this location or any other.

Food is not worth the price. I have not eaten in the place just went through the drive thru. The portions are small and the food looks nothing like what the menu shows. Not very good for fast food. Only went once and not going back.

My God,…I must have had a whack on my head by the «Dummy Stick» to have EVER thought this would be a good idea. What on earth was I thinking?! Although I cannot recall the last time I was in a Taco Cabana, but if this experience is an example of why, then lesson learned.
The Good — the place is very clean, and the staff was enthusiastically friendly. For that alone, I would give them 4 – 5 stars. However, my low score is only because the quality of the food has forced me to drive the overall score down to a 1 (one)…and that’s pushing it.
I am certain that Taco Cabana has a number of followers. I am equally certain that such people are either (A) Northerners, who cower at the thought of anything spicier than black pepper, or (B) people who have sustained severe injury to their tongue; seeking some form of a «Mexican flavor» despite medical warnings to the contrary. In other words, this stuff is bland enough to feed a newborn baby. Tasteless, incredibly zing-​less, and certainly FAR from anything that would resemble Mexican-​spicy. Hell, I have had ketchup with more kick!
The Bad — I ordered the «Cabana Sampler,» but soon realized that the photo on the wall looked WAY BETTER than what I received. Grease-​laden taco meat, some kind of cheese product in the enchilada, and some kind of brown gruel I believe was being referred to as «chili con carne.» Oh, and nothing like the red-​dye for the corn tortilla to make it look like you’re having some kind of fiesta at your table, right? Yeah, that’s authentic. Olé’!
The «Salsa Bar» was filled with all sorts of things to fill into little plastic cups that could barely hold any amount worth mentioning, and even more cumbersome to attempt to bring back to your table single-​handedly. In fact, you’re probably better off just bringing your plate and ladling on these flavorless concoctions directly on your plastic plate of food substance instead. Oh, and the flavor? Once again… absolutely spice-​less (outside of the jalapeño slices). How can this be? I’m certain this place is referred to as a Mexican Restaurant, or is it? At this point, it’s questionable.
The Ugly — Alas, Taco Caba-​NO, I will not return. There are far better places to enjoy in the TexicaMexica fast food chains, and certainly a number that at least have some kind of remote similarity to Tex-​Mex. However… you are not it.

They were nice enough, food was fresh I enjoyed the salad I would go again

Not so great. The burito was like they put all the ingredients in a blender. There was no texture other than mush.
