Lake Worth Public Library

This little library is a hidden gem! I recently began taking some evening craft classes offered here. For years, I was able to find older (sometimes out of print) books for my children that other libraries didn’t have. Like the first reviewer mentioned, check the schedule before heading to the library as the hours are somewhat limited. Book lovers, enjoy!

This is the smallest library you will ever be in, I promise.
But it does have free wireless, a decent selection of free movies (a lot of classics) and pretty sensible hours… for the size
The library is closed Sunday and Monday, They are open Tuesday & Wednesday 11:00 am — 7:00 pm, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 9:00 a.m. — 5:00 p.m.
There is often quite a few people in there using the computers, time limits seemed to be enforced, but I have always noticed people waiting to get on. The ladies at the front desk are helpful, although they rarely get up unless it i required of them. Not the most quiet library, every time i have been people are speaking loudly and often, wouldn’t be a place i would go to study… Also their online portal is difficult to use, I gave up trying to request material and wound up just picking it up at the delray branch, a MUCH bigger, newer, nicer library, although not as convenient for me…
