Bonefish Grill

When you make a reservation for 8:15, you know it might be 8:25 or 8:30 before you are seated on a busy night — and that’s fine. What’s NOT fine is getting seated at 8:50, then not seeing a server until 9. On top of that, the kitchen took forever and we didn’t even see an appetizer until 9:30. At that point, we paid for our drinks and appetizer and went elsewhere. Management clearly has issues at this location. Next time we’ll go to a different location — there are a lot of them.

Food was outstanding. The bang bang shrimp and the calamari are beyond delicious! Waitress was attentive and helpful. Save room for the strawberry shortcake, plenty big for three to share. The only problem was that I had called for a reservation and when I got there they said they didn’t have it. But they got us seated rather quickly.

We met for dinner with friends. They offered late reservations. They were open until 11:30 PM (on a Saturday). Thank goodness since, everyone was on Cuban time! They provided us with Great service!
For Starters: Our waiter served us, warm bread with a side of dipping oil. I was concern, that they did not offer vegetarian options, but they did!!! Located under ‘side options’ on their menu. Lol I got creative by ordering: Spinach & Broccoli with a side of Garlic mashed potatoes. The broccoli had a delicious garlic flavor, not over powering and cooked to perfection.
Omg!!! Their mashed potatoes was a home run for me!!! Very Delicious!!! A lot of flavor, great consistency and it was not runny. I felt no need to add Salt & Pepper! Thank you Chef!
However, I did not like their spinach. Very bland
My husband ordered, a Kobe burger with broccoli!
He said it was outstanding!
Our friends ordered, fish & they loved it! They eat there all the time! Great Portions size
If we had any room left in our bellies; we would of ordered Desert. Super stuffed, but so worth it!!!
Nothing was left on our plates.
This was rare to us; since we are «Food Snobs». Most places will not meet our expectations. Thank you!
Why 4 Stars:
I wished they make changes to their menu. Please add a vegetarian selection. It would be nice to see an actual ‘vegetarian’ main course selections (not just salad) vs ordering from the side dish selection. It took me, a while to placed my order and I did not feel special.

Good food and waitress but hostess staff left bad experience. Had reservation and when I arrived requested a booth in bar area. I was told they would try. A booth became available and 5 minutes later I was summoned for seating. When I asked about booth I was told it wasn’t available. 5 minutes later I watched hostess seat another party at the booth I asked about. There were two hostesses working. One seemed nice while the other one was rather abrupt. These kind of incidents can ruin an otherwise pleasurable dining experience.

Been coming to this location for a third attempt. We escape our weekly routine here. The bar is awesome, the drinks very good and a good value for the prices. The bartenders are very good, and the really are attentive and know their drinks and wines. Food is good Bonefish never disappoints with their awesome Bang Bang Shrimp! I mean the best! And the fish is always fresh ! The dishes themselves and specials are pretty god. The Ahi Tuna is perfect. My favorite Fish and Chips rivals some Irish restaurants in fresh quality and crispy i mean crispy huge portions. A great time and good escape, specially my hats of to this location the staff is awesome and so are the customers always a friendly conversation at the bar with someone. !

Food was good. Cannot take that away.
The service however, I felt was not good.
Enough staff, but in my observation not trained properly. Staff would come to the table and never clear the used dishes away. Plates piled up along with the glasses from drinks. Table should be kept clutter free.
Room was nicer than the Boynton Beach store, according to my friends.

Made a reservation for 7 on a Monday night. Seated on time which is the reason for the one star. Ordered drinks and appetizers. Appetizers came right away but drinks came 15 mins later. Ordered 3 Oscar Mahi entrees which was the special. Waitress said they only had two portions left. How do you run out of the special by 7:30? Food came out 45 minutes after we ordered. One of the Mahi specials was ice cold. Asked the waitress to heat it up. 10 mins later came back hot but completely dried out. In the end Manager comped the entrée but the dining experience was terrible.

Was looking for a fish restaurant that wouldn’t require a home equity loan (see my review of City Fish Market)…
Ate here with another couple; again, reservations mean zip (7:30 meant seated at 8). Portions not huge, but they are reasonable for the price, well prepared, and they come with two (small) sides. Salad was OK, noise level high… I will never get used to $ 3 cup of mediocre coffee. Including shared appetizer (club soda for drinks, no dessert) the tab was $ 60 including tip. Trying another branch tonight.

Classy joint, my wife enjoyed the ambience and the cucumber margarita. For an appetizer the bang bang shrimp is a must! The Atlantic Salmon was made to perfection especially with a side of asparagus and potatoes.
Location was great, plenty of parking and the wait wasn’t long at around 6pm. As we left there was definitely a line so make reservations.

Michael Pain was our server and he was the best. We never wanted for anything! He was funny, courteous and made a special treat for my husbands birthday with no asking involved. I would go back just to be waited on by this wonderful guy.

I was very disappointed. Service was slow and fish was not up to standards that I would expect for the price. This place is way below what I have come to expect since I have been to Bonefish Grills in other states. I would avoid this place.

Great service fresh food what more can you ask for! Always a wonderful experience. Shannon is the best waitress. She is very kind and helps you out with anything you need making for the best dining!

Shannon gave us very good service & all the fish dishes were well prepared. My scallops were way too salty for a main course; I suspect due to the bacon crumbles-​a salt lovers dream… nevertheless, we’ll all be back-​the brownie combo is to drool over and the key lime, stellar.

Ate here tonight with friends. No open tables so we sat at the bar. Had a late lunch so we just ordered appetizers. My friend did order clam chowder soup w/​crabmeat. Ordered bang bang shrimp, lobster flat bread and Oysters baked Rockefeller style. Enjoyed all of them. In addition to this, we had a great bartender that served us.
This was a better experience than my last. I would say, you get better service eating at the bar than at the main dining room.

I had my first dining experience in Florida here and it could not have gone smoother.
I tried the fish and chips and had enough to make two meals out of it. Friendly wait staff, reasonable prices, HUGE menu, & great portions. Would come back!

Fresh, I love seafood especially when it is fresh! I had the fish tacos and soup, let me say it was pretty delicious and light. I did not feel overly full but satisfied. Price was it was not bad during lunch, especially for the quality. I did enjoy the décor on the inside, they have a cute set up outside as well. I have not tried the bar their, but I will mot definitely come again. It’s a nice place to go when going for a nice bite and a good chat with a friend.

Confused, is what I would use to describe the waitstaff and my dining experience here. First off the décor here reminds me of a smaller version of the Cheesecake Factory with the lighting and the wall color. I notice that the demographics of Florida or specifically West Palm Beach aren’t really active in Unilocaling — so I’m leaving with review not so much for the regulars (who probably don’t use Unilocal) but more so for the people visiting someone in the area.
We had a group of 6 for dinner, made reservations for a Sunday evening with no problems. We were promptly seated in a booth, our waitress came over and took our drink order fairly quickly. The bread and pesto olive oil came out immediately after, it was quite tasty. I love hot breads!
We ordered and no joke, 40 minutes later my husband’s salad came out and another 20 minutes everyone else got their entrees. I do understand that Florida moves at a different pace, but this was completely out of the norm even for my in laws. I don’t know if it’s normal for others to wait an hour to get their entrees here, but I have to wait it’s the most (if not the only disappointing part of the meal)
I had the fish tacos, which were not what I was expecting from the photos that I had seen here on Unilocal (the photos of the tacos that were shown here on Unilocal showed a hard taco) the tacos that were brought out were soft. It was still good, but not what I was expecting that’s all.
My father in law got his usual which was the Fontina Pork Chop and my mother in law got their BBQ Pork Chop. The BBQ Pork had a bit of a kick to it at the end, though my mother in law got sweet potato mash as her side I think rice would have been a better addition.
My husband got their lobster, with their house fried potatoes (they are whole small fried potatoes — SO yummy — but I’m sure very unhealthy for you! Lol)
For dessert we shared their donuts, it was a very interesting presentation because the donuts came out with two small squirt bottle of caramel and chocolate. I recommend putting a bit of caramel on it.
Overall the food was good, however the kitchen needs to work out some sort of system to deal with the backlog.

I was really in the mood for some good seafood after having been in Florida for more than 2 months. Found it!
First of all, the chowder was spiced just right and thick. Plus you could actually see the clams. What a concept! Take note all you restauranteurs.
The entrées were certainly ample enough so we left filled without feeling overly stuffed. Nice wine selection to cap it off.
My shrimp skewer was perfect, done evenly. My date had the tuna bowl and she is normally a tough customer for getting it right. Her silence was golden.
We arrived later on a Saturday night (7) so we had to take a number, but the outside lounge with bar service made it an easy wait.
Our server Michael P was awesome! I like it when they are easy going and feel free to joke with you a bit. Or maybe he just sensed that I don’t mind. Either way, made for a nice dining experience.

Haven’t eaten yet, still waiting for our overdue reservation to be honored. The hostess was very helpful, we will get to you when something’s available. My first and last time at this location.
No the hostess says, it could be 2 more hours. Very very unhelpful. Don’t come here!
