NEVER GO HERE took me 3 trips in to the store to get my bike tuned up and the front dérailleur didn’t shift right after. Once to drop it off, then to find out they didn’t even work on it yet on pick up day and last to spend over an hour there for them to still be working on the bike and pay over $ 100 for there subpar work.

On busy Thanksgiving weekend my bike broke down and I brought it in to Bicycle World for repair. It took longer than expected for them to get around to fixing it, and they gave consideration for the delay when they charged me. I received kind and courteous customer service. Ultimately the job was done well and at price that was reasonable before they were kind enough to compensate for the time. I recommend Bicycle World for repairs and won’t hesitate to go back to them in the future. THANK YOU: D

I bought a bike for my son. He didn’t know how to ride a two wheeler. My son picked a bike and went outside with one of the guys. They spent some time out there but the guy taught my son (who is afraid of anything new) how to ride this bike. I bought it and my son can’t stop talking about it. Thank you Bicycle World

I have patronized this business for years and have bought a couple of bikes there.
I do like their newer store.
A couple things concern me though.
I recently was having problems with a creaking/​groaning sound when I pedaled hard.
I didn’t realize they moved and took my bike elsewhere for service.
Another bike shop found that one of the bolts connecting the crank to the spindle was bad from the factory. It was oblong instead of perfectly round!
Why wasn’t this caught when they assembled my bike?
(There were actually several issues, but this is the one they should have caught.
The rest were mostly merely adjustments that become necessary over time.)
My bike is now running better than when new.
Another thing that made me question them was when I bought my last bike, I asked them to show me how to operate the quick release for the front tire.
They didn’t know how to do it!?!
I thought that was very lame.
Other than those negatives, they have decent selection of bikes and accessories.
Since it has been quite a while, I can’t comment on whether they have hired better bike mechanics since I bought my last bike.

Took bike in for a tuneup on Tuesday morning, by Friday afternoon they still hadn’t touched it. What a joke this place is…
