I recently work with Nessa to create the invitations for my wedding. Nessa did an excellent job capturing exactly what I wanted my invitations to look like. The watercolors that were designed exactly matched our color scheme, tone and vision for the wedding. She was also extremely flexible in helping to rush order the invitations so that we could send them out in time, as well as reprinting our RSVP cards when there was a small hiccup with the date. Now, all of our guests have been contacting me about how unique and beautiful the invitations are! I am so fortunate to have worked with Nessa and The Card Bar for our invitations and would highly recommend this business to anyone who wants beautiful and unique stationary created!

I highly recommend using Nessa for all of your custom invitation and paper good needs. Invitations really set the tone and are your guests first impression of you event. Nessa has a great style and eye, and will come up with a design that fits your vision and style perfectly. She is a joy to work with and I would work with her on all jobs if I could!

I ordered SF themed Valentine’s Day cards from Nessa through Gilt City. The cards were adorable and I loved them — very original and well made. I will definitely be ordering from Card Girl again!

Outstanding work! The best I have seen!

I just received my wedding invitations and I love them! Nessa was really easy to work with, and so is her colleague Carissa. They were both really flexible, and we were allowed to do as many edits and go back and forth as necessary. The invitations got to me on time, and both Nessa and Carissa worked with me on budget. Even though my invitations are on the more traditional side, Cardgirl’s price was lower than any of the other stationers I spoke with. They were both so reponsive to emails, and were really easy to work with. The whole process was really fun. Nessa was awesome and shipped my invitations to me for free! I highly recommend.

I’m so glad I found Nessa to do my invites — I went to several places in San Francisco and on-​line, either they were too expensive or not what I wanted.
Nessa was able to take the design I wanted –which would of originally cost me over $ 2000 if I would of purchased from the vendor — and make it affordable.
She designed it perfectly, and it came out exactly to how I wanted it. Also, she helped source paper for me so I could make the enclosures — helping me keep my cost down. The first order didn’t arrive on time — it wasn’t her fault, it was the post office — however she went all out to make sure I got another shipment quickly.
Not only is Nessa good at what she does, she is also very easy to work with, and just a ‘nice’ person.

Nessa is great to work with! I have a lot of clients working with her and everyone has been so pleased with her attention to detail as well as her artistic eye! She has helped me with all of my business cards, logos, etc. She can take any idea you have and run with it! I look forward to the day that I can use her for my own wedding! Card-​Girl is on my «Fav» list for sure!

wow, where do i begin? when i first found Nessa, i was really excited because i was having a hard time finding someone to do customized wedding invitations in san francisco. but Nessa’s cute website led me to think that she could do good work. WRONG!!!
first of all, Nessa is the world’s hardest person to reach. i would usually have to call numerous times on the business line and her cell phone, leave about 5 voicemail messages, followed up by at least a couple emails before i could even get a hold of her! it got so bad at a point that i even had to get my now husband to contact Nessa for me because i was in such a rage over not being able to get a response from her!
then when i finally did get my invitations, OMG!!! i was practically in tears when i saw them! the way she glued the invitation to the backing was crooked. the edges of the invitation, the rsvp card, the direction card were all crooked! the ribbon that ties close the invitation were all over the place. i had to go and straighen them out as best as i could. o, and even the recipient addresses printed on many of the envelopes were not straight and centered. there were some that were located so low on the bottom edge of the envelope, it practically looked like you had to flip the envelope over to see the zip code! the job was just UNBELIEVABLE!!! it was sooooo awful! you’d think that since she took forever to create them, they’d be meticulously and professionally done!
i had intended for Nessa to do my wedding programs, menus and place cards but you can bet after i saw her terrible workmanship on my invites i quickly took my business elsewhere!
i advise you to do the same. and fyi, i took my business just down the street to Papyrus and worked with Ebone. She was WONDERFUL!!! i wish i had gone there to begin with. Ebone was patient, readily available, and helped me design my dream perfect programs and menus. Love her!!!
But Avoid Nessa!

Ok, so it’s only taken me about 2 or 3 years to right this review, but better late than never :0)…Nessa is one of the sweetest people I know and her custom invitations ROCK!!!
Nessa did my save the dates, wedding invites, ceremony programs, place cards and table numbers and they came out absolutely beautful. She really stuck with my whole color scheme from begining to end, and her turn around time was pretty decent. I didn’t have to go through any troubles with her and she always went out of her way to work with me.
She is truly a gem for anyone who finds her!

Nessa did a fantastic job on our wedding invites — the Meet and Greet, Rehearsal Dinner, Wedding, directions, and RSVP card all were exactly what we wanted — elegant /​modern/​simple — and she was SOO easy to work with and her prices were awesome. HIGHLY recommended!

do you need fabulous custom invitations or stationery? Nessa is your woman. You can pick from styles she’s developed for other clients and modify one to suit your needs, or she’ll work with you to do something new and very personal. Nessa made us beautiful wedding invites that were bound with gold silk ribbon and nearly everyone complimented them. She was wonderful to work with during the design process… now I just need a party to throw so I can get more pretty paper products from her!
