Recently moved to PDX from another state… had a gal there that has cut my hair for the past 5 years (and it took her awhile to get my style right) so always apprehensive about a new barber… well…got called for an interview… searched Unilocal and since I reside in LO, walked in and met Steve! I explained my situation, and came out looking like a million bucks!
Turns out the man had his own shop for decades, then retired.
Lucky for me, he has recently decided to return part time…
Just a sincere, pleasant, genuine guy… who knows what he’s doing!

This was my first time going to this barber shop and already I’m feeling it’s going to be my spot now. Bryce is very good and listens to what you want. Not only does he cut great hair but they’ll get rid of your greys as well. I’ve been everywhere to find a place I can call my spot. From first timers to life timers that have tried to manage this mop, well this place is a cut above.

This barbershop was fine, but it is kind of expensive for what they do. They are no better than a chain place, but cost a lot more. I’m not saying that I won’t go back, but would prefer to spend less than this.

If you are looking for a great haircut at an unbeatable price, this is your place. Bryce (new owner) is very laid back, but not about making sure you are happy with your cut. I have tried several places over the past 15 years; from high end salons to low key dives. This is the best I have found!

The only place my teens trust with their hair. We had been going to different places for years and never satisfied with the results. We were very happy to find a place that can do a great job and be consistent. I have one son who is Italian and has very thick hair and my other son is Asian with thin wispy hair, their hair always looks great when they walk out! I have even had my two year olds hair fixed here after a botched cut at a different shop. They were able to keep him still in the chair and made sure he was not scared by interacting with him during the process… bonus there is wine next door ;)

My husband has always gone to upscale salons for at least $ 50 a time. He comes here always gets in and always gets a great cut at half that price! Good conversation, nice people and a great cut! Convenient location!
Don’t tell my husband… But his hair looks much butter now!

While I rated it high, I do want to cation everyone– there is a difference between a barber and a cosmetologist– a subtle distinction that is very true here. If you know about hair cuts, want a specific one, and know the right terms to describe it– get to a sharper image. Cheaper with easier results.
If you are guy and am like «Screw it, give me a whatever» then here is a good place to go. 22 dollars and not a bad haircut. That’s what this place is. I would knock it for its issues I had, but that is not what it is and not what its trying to be.
