Jessica Vogelsang, DDS

Dr. Vogelsang has been our family dentist for four years. She is wonderful, friendly and competent. Even my seven-​year-​old looks forward to his appointments, believe it or not! Dr. Vogelsang is reasonably priced and does a wonderful job with minimizing discomfort during procedures. She has a great sense of humor and the time flies by remarkably fast. She is active in the local community and really represents local small business ownership.

Jessica is amazing. I had not seen a dentist in years and was terrified to go becasue I was sure everything in my mouth was falling apart due to some pain. I was foolish and kept avoiding it becasue I was so afraid. She went above and beyond to assure me her chair is not scary. When I arrived, she just talked with me, gently took a look, did some x-​rays, all the while telling me that even if there was a lot to do, I would walk out with a written plan on how to best tackle the problem step by step so that my teeth were taken care of and my bank didn’t go bust. It turned out that all I had was a teeny-​tiny cavity. I felt more like I was sitting with a life-​coach rather than a dentist becasue she encouraged me rather than berated me. I have sent a number of people to her and everyone has told me the experience was amazing. One needed extensive work, and she worked with him as a human instead of a patient number who should just get it all done at once. The last great dentist I saw was when I was 8 years old. Each after that made me afraid to go. Jessica will be my dentist for life.

My first visit. It is a small practice. My first call was answered by the dentist –Jessica — who was at lunch. She took the time to listen to my story, get my info and set me up with an appointment (cavity), and she called me personally on the weekend to remind me of the appointment.
When I got there I was greeted by her and her male assistant — Dan, introductions all round. The place was clean quiet and above all, calm.
The cavity was taken care of kindly, with a minimum of discomfort. Jessica and Dan were comfortable together and worked well together, and kept up a 3 way conversation during the process,
I have a new dentist and I’m happy. :)
