Invisible Fence of Greater Portland

If I could give zero stars this review would be more accurate.
When the Scooby Shack in Lake Oswego was an Invisible Fence dealer I could not say enough positive things about the product and service they provided. Now that they are not affiliated with a brick and mortar store I cannot say enough negative things about them.
1. We were contacted about our yearly battery plan being up, so I gave my credit card number and expected new batteries to arrive in a few days. Fast forward two weeks and I call, «Oh we are terribly sorry, we’ll get those out today and overnight them». Fast forward another week, «whoops, don’t know what happened, we’ll get them out today», fast forward… you get the point. It took four calls and nearly two months to get our batteries.
2. We need to get more wire because a large portion of ours was swept away when the creek came up (We have nearly three acres ‘fenced in’ and part of it is in the creek). Last night our lab figured out that he could get off the property because the wire was broken, which means kennel time for both dogs while we are at work since the property is no longer secure for them to be on alone. We called today to try and arrange a time to come pick up new wire at the warehouse, or where ever they are now, instead they offered to send it for $ 50 in shipping and the cost or $ 120 for delivery to our house plus the cost. Stop. You are too generous with your help and concern for our pets’ well being. With lots of «there’s nothing I can do» responses we gave up even trying to get this figured out.
The customer service is abhorrent and I cannot steer you away from this company fast enough. Find another provider and go with them, this is not proprietary technology by any means, so what ever company you pick will work. Save yourself the headache dealing with this company. Business 101 teaches that you have to treat a customer well or they will tell 10 of their friends about their bad experience, well, I hope 10,000 people read this and save themselves a lot of trouble-​and possible heartache from an injured or killed pet– of dealing with this business.

Fence did not work for my German Shepherd, it made him angry, agitated and caused him to bark, now that it is turned off and no shock collar he is perfect again. Further I have called several times over several months asking for refund under their guarantee and no one has refunded money or done anything to resolve.
