Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa

I was a member at the Beaverton location and cancelled twice… went through a nightmare I will spare you the details (if you want them go to my review for that location). You can imagine the look on my face when a friend gave me a gift card for this location.
I made an appointment with ease. I then had to reschedule which was also a breeze. I was never put on hold or anything and everyone I spoke to was super friendly and helpful.
I arrived a little early to fill out the new paperwork and I also I asked to add a brow wax onto my appointment. Tammi was amazing at my facial — very sweet and immediately put me at ease — she even hugged me after when I was leaving — seriously, love that! The receptionist was super friendly as well — everyone there creates a very happy environment. It was a MUCH different experience than I had previously at the other location. Also, I kept expecting to have them hound me to sign up again etc — nope, thanks seriously… I hate the pushy thing businesses do now. I know how to sign up… and am thinking about it… but will drive out of my way for this location. I will probably be back.

excellent staff. all very friendly and professional. facility is new and in a newer area, lots of parking and easy to reach from 1 – 5, (we came here because our local spa was booked).
had a 50 min. massage. and it was wonderful! do not have these often so nice to have someone who gives you clear directions. definately need to have more!

My wife and I came in for a couples massage. I work close to this location, so it was too tempting not to try. Everything went so smooth as we checked in. We were escorted back to the room, the music was perfect and the employees were great. We both felt great when we left.
My wife returned later and received a facial. That is not my thing, but she said it was great.
We will be back.

I drove from NE Portland to this specific Hand & Stone location to get a facial from Monica who is amazing !! very professional, friendly and also very knowledgable about how & why products work and what my skin needs now at age … 40! gasp! :) her facial & hand massage techniques were super yummy and I left feeling relaxed and dreamy with my face happily hydrated & glowing.
I didn’t expect this «chain» spa’s product line to be as organic and impressive as it is — I would definitely buy their products based on the ingredient list (all real stuff! not unpronounceable chemicals!) and im pretty picky about what I put on my skin/​in my body. thanks so much, Monica and Hand & Stone — i’m traveling a lot this year but next time I’m in Portland I’ll be back!

We booked a hot stone couples massage and to be honest it was a waste of money. First off there was so much confusion with our appt which made us feel super awkward. They forgot it was a couples massage and tried to put us in two different rooms, then they said they didn’t know it was a hot stone massage and acted like it was too difficult to move one of the hot stone machines into another room. Lastly, the massage just wasn’t any good. We left feeling slimy and unrelaxed. Also, I asked if they could turn the air conditioning up because it was super hot and he said no… So I was sweating the whole massage and uncomfortable. And we spent 130 dollars for that experience :(

I had a phenomenal experience at this spa. The facial by Dan was amazing– probably the best facial I’ve ever had. It was incredibly relaxing and he did a lot of facial massage, which I really enjoyed. I felt so relaxed afterwards! And my skin looked really supple. (I like relaxing facials, but I think they also have the hardcore facials for people who prefer it rough.)
After my facial, I had a massage with Jill, which I also enjoyed tremendously. She had some pretty cool massage tricks up her sleeve! She managed to work on some problem areas without causing me pain– it was a very relaxing treatment. I’ll definitely be back!

I have been a long term client and LOVE the location in Happy Valley but, I moved to Lake Oswego after fulfilling contract with hand and Stone. I was thrilled they were coming to LO. I booked a massage for my boyfriends birthday with instructions that he only wanted a female massage therapist the day of my boyfriends bday and massage I went in to pay ahead of time and found out it was a man therapist and they could not get a woman. I cancelled not happy and explained I would not be back. Honestly the return calls, lack of empathy and frankly poorly managed property will effect future business and its a shame.

I really enjoyed my experience here. I felt welcomed from the moment I walked in… the staff was very warm and inviting. Denien was my esthetician. She took time to understand my skin needs and was very knowledgable about the products. Her touch was very soothing and i was completely relaxed. I will be back soon to try more of their services.

Had the most wonderful facial (by Denien Lee) at this new Hand & Stone in LO just off Kruse Way in the new cute little mall. It was so extremely relaxing and my face just glowed afterwards. I can’t wait to go back!
If you get a facial definitely ask for Denien Lee … she’s absolutely the BEST!!!
