Bald Mountain Golf Course

Really enjoyed this classic old course. A great sunny Friday. My 1^st time out this year after a slip and fall and rotator cuff surgery. Countless hours of therapy later, found this course just great, for the price. Looking forward to returning for 18 holes next time. The staff was extremely friendly also.

Bald Mountain is a great course for beginners. I never really liked how anyone could consider this the worst place to golf because it’s not meant for experienced golfers that go to expensive club houses and pay $ 50 or more for 18 holes. You will not find this to be the most challenging course.
I started golfing at Bald Mountain when I was a kid and I still enjoy it. There may be moments where it seems like the maintenance is a little behind but they still do a good job at keeping it clean for what it’s worth. I’ve been to many golf courses that cost more and I’m always reminded how much I like Bald Mountain when many of the other courses have debris everywhere or have a lot of divots.
Should you ever want to get a bite to eat, I would recommend any of their appetizers, burgers, or sandwiches. It’s been a while since I’ve eaten there but I have always remembered how good their food is.
Bald Mountain has always been a #1 choice for me when I’m looking for a course close by and inexpensive. My friends and I like coming here and I’m sure we will continue to do so until we find another course that’s just as inexpensive and close by… not likely.

Good beginners courses. Very easy. Especially the 9 hole «executive» course. Serious golfers who give this place poor reviews need some perspective. Perfect course to learn on. Well maintained for this type of place. If you are looking for the top notch experience then pony up to play at a higher end course. This place is perfect to teach a kid or other beginner how to play.

The ratings thus far are par for course. Rude staff, course is worn and not maintained, and the clubhouse is very dirty.
Avoid this place. They yelled at us for playing 5 golfers at a time when we paid for 8!
Even the groupon isn’t worth the deal we got

AVOID THIS PLACE
I’d give it ½ star only if possible.
Slow
Bad fairways
Weeds throughout the rough AND the fairway
No water to drink at all
No rangers
Lack of yard markers
Overgrown bowls that used to be sand traps
The parking lot is crumbling, and you have to drive over loose hunks of broken off blacktop.
They just don’t care
And I will never play there again. I urge you not to either!!!
