The Learning Experience

My daughter and I both love this school and all the staff at the Learning Experience in Lake in the Hills. Finding good child care is no easy task, and I toured several different daycares before choosing this location. Over the years she has been to a few different day cares, and this one has been our absolute favorite. She has learned and grown so much since she started, both educationally and emotionally.
Top reasons that we chose and now love The Learning Experience over all the other daycares in the area:
— The facility is brand new and clean, and they work hard to keep it clean. They even have a whole school air filtration system to keep the air clean and more germ free from all those airborn viruses. Touring other facilities the toys, cribs, books, etc were over used, worn out, and covered in snot and germs.
— The staff are all wonderful and truly care about the kids. When a teacher is passionate about her job, that passion resonates with their students and their ability and willingness to learn. I can easily see the positive impact that the teachers and curriculum is having with my daughter, as she’s learning leap and bounds more here than any where else.
— Small class sizes. Several other day cares seemed over crowded and the kids were far to loud and rowdy.
— Giving her an educational boost to her core curriculum and improving on her manners too! They give tests quarterly so you can really see how your child’s development is improving and help highlight any area’s that they may need a little more help with. This will help her so much before she starts kindergarten. Not only that, but she is also way better at cleaning up her own toys and crafts at home now. She insists on setting the dinner table every night and that we all wash our hands before eating too. These are things that her teacher has helped instilled in her. Miss Amanda, her teacher, is AMAZING and makes learning fun!
— She is excited to go to school every day now. She even asks why she can’t go on the weekends or holidays. Other schools she went to in the past she was miserable at and would cry that she just wanted to stay at home, and then the teachers would ignore her when we got there. I remember her first day at a different day care she was scared and crying, I helped her take her coat off and she stood by her cubby. I said goodbye to her and the two teachers in the classroom who were just gossiping about their weekends by the door. I looked in the window to check on her before getting into my car and she was still standing in the same spot crying and the teachers were still completely ignoring her. This happened on an almost daily basis, before I removed her from this facility. That daycare didn’t last long, but in my last search for a new daycare I discovered that the lazy teachers are now teaching at another school in the area; where the kids were loud and rowdy. The staff at the Learning Experience, from the front office to all the teachers, warmly greet all the kids and engage them as we walk in the door. My daughter is excited to go every day and is actually disappointed to leave at night.
— The reactions of the families and children that the owner worked for in the past that came to congratulate her on opening the facility. Seeing how she connected with the kids and parents spoke volumes.
— We say «Prayers and Happy Thoughts» every night before we go to bed, and every night my daughter’s happy thoughts are centered around going to school, her teacher, or her best friend Elliot at school. Going from her crying every day and hating her other day cares, making me feel bad about making her go, to daily happiness all based on this new school is heart warming.

I have 5 year old son who been in 3 different day care since he was 6 month old (because of my job) Because one of the day care closed I have to find one in 3 days. I enrolled in The Learning Experiance in Lake In The Hills il and I did the best choice. I see my son been so happy everyday and he learn a lot in pass of 3 weeks where i didn’t see it before. The staff is professional and very friendly. The prices are good and they have good hours as well. I love this place so do my son. I highly recommended to everyone who is looking for day care.

I enrolled my son at TLE, lake in the hills before they officially opened. Their staff is trained beyond any other daycare I have encountered. The curriculum is rigorous and engaging. I love hearing my sons excitement about what he is learning, the friend he makes, and the incredible events of his day.
Enrolling my son here was the best decision I’ve made. I pulled my son out of another preschool to give him this opportunity in his academics. I am not disappointed. Beyond him learning sign language, Spanish, and starting to read, this staff knows my son and values him as an individual. They see him for who he is and differentiate for his specific interests. The amazing thing is that they do this for every student. My son is 5, and we will have to go to kindergarten next year, but if TLE offered kinder, I would happily keep him enrolled here. The staff is consistent, amazing, thorough, and educated. The site is clean, engaging, inviting, and very kid friendly. The curriculum is challenging while still engaging. I love the communication that comes home weekly and we adore my son’s teacher. This school partners with me, communicates with me, and makes every child feel safe, loved, and special.
Every staff member knows my son on a personal level. Every staff member exceeds my expectations and my son lives going to school each day.
Only bring your child here if you are looking for the best.

I have a 3 year old son who has never been in day care or even had a babysitter, I guess you can say I am one of those moms who has trust issues with someone I do not know watching my boy… I enrolled Brando in the Learning Experience about a month and a half ago and I have to say it was the best thing I have ever done! This place is amazing and he still every day is so excited to go to school! Every morning he runs in and has to run in Miss Loria’s office to give her a giant hug and when the day is over he has to run in her office to give her a hug good bye! It’s so nice to know that your child is safe and in loving caring hands! He has learned so much already and always is excited to tell me about his day and what he learned! The center is extremely clean and the staff is always smiling and friendly! Thank you to the teachers and staff at The Learning Experience Lake in the hills for all that you do!

Center is still in development with much of the staff not hired yet, including the infant teachers. Priced well above other centers in the area, although the owner will come down sharply in price-​sometimes you get what you pay for. Please do not consider this facility at least until they are up to speed and have proper staff and policies in place.
