It is horrible. The worst clam chowder ever.
The waitress was the worst. i will never go there again

We went here for breakfast this morning because we’d heard it was a «local’s» café, great prices and good portions. All of that was true; however, the food was not so great. French toast was unremarkable (Denny’s makes better) and lukewarm. French fries same, also lukewarm. In fact everything except my omelette was barely warm. I think they make everything at the same time in your order and if one item takes longer (like the omelette), the rest of the order just sits and not under a warming light. The omelette was big and greasy, filled with lots of canned rubbery mushrooms. Hash browns very greasy and really no flavor other than the grease. The best part of my breakfast was the rye toast, very greasy too with fake butter and lukewarm. We brought our own tea bags and paid $ 1.60 for the hot water. Overall bill was $ 14 before tip. Service was fair. Will not go here again.

Absolutely terrible service! After being sat we were never approached for drinks or an order. Guests sat after us were placing orders why we watched. We walked out with out being noticed.

Uncle Kenny’s is ok. Not bad and not fantastic. I went there on a Sunday in March. Many of the other places in town were packed with Snow Birds and Uncle Kennys had only a short wait. It’s clearly a locals place.
They only take cash. The service was good though. I had breakfast which was corned beef hash and eggs. (The Meal comes with hash browns and toast). I ordered a biscuit instead of toast. They charged me extra for gravy on the biscuit (which I was unaware of until I got the bill). The gravy was strange tasting and too peppery for me. The meal only came with two eggs and the hash and hash browns were mixed together. There was very little of it too. I walked away still hungry.
But the quality of food was decent. I just wish there was more if it.

I’ve been coming here for years and am never disappointed. Best breakfast in town for the best price. Whether I have eggs, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, or just oatmeal, I’m never disappointed. The biscuits and gravy are over the top, by the way! The waitresses have been there forever and always make me feel very welcome, like I’m one of their kids, no matter my age. I hope this place never changes. One of Havasu’s old school treasures.

Food is okay and like one of the other customers stated before me, unless your a local (which we are most of the year) the service is horrible! IF you go & sit in the booths in back they totally forget about you. Biscuits & gravy aren’t good at all & I pride myself to search these out. Carl’s Jr are better by far. Several of the locals call this place «Uncle Stingy’s». We will continue to search for a good «mom & pop» with great service. It’s just a shame that the older waitress here doesn’t have better manners or people skills. Plus my boyfriend wanted a waffle. Her answer, «Oh we don’t have those. The waffle maker takes up to much space.» Oh please. Coffee is not that great either. We won’t be going back any time soon! I pray for those of you who dare to try this place. Could be a nice find, but not by us.

I went into this establishment with my mom, aunt, and cousin who is young. We stood awkwardly in the doorway waiting to e seated for almost ten minutes and there were handicapped people in our group. After waiting we seated ourselves out of necessity and looked at the menu. The waitress takes another ten minutes to come over and take our order. The waitress was an older woman in her sixties and she proceeded to lecture us on seating ourselves. Then an elderly couple does the same thing behind us to which the waitress does not lecture. Apparently if you are under the age of sixty you deserve no respect in this restaurant. My mom ordered ice tea which made the waitress angry and she was still being rude to us. I ordered biscuits and gravy which they say was homemade and I’m not sure if I believe this, they were bland. I never salt food and I found myself over dalton to taste anything. Terrible experience, I will not be back and I do not appreciate being talked down to because of my age. I am a local and frequent restaurants all year therefore I deserve respect just as much as an older snowbird even though I’m in my twenties.

A great home style breakfast. The steak and eggs were reasonably priced and pretty good. French toast was super plain and kind of bland. Loses stars because they only accept cash. Need to get with the times, most people only carry debit or credit.

No clue why sure the low stars on this restaurant. My boyfriend has been eating here since he was a little kid.
Absolutely love their pancakes and their breakfast sandwiches. I’m heading back out there in two days and I cannot wait for breakfast!!!

I got served a pancake with a fat thump print squished into my food… are you kidding me! Plus there was flies in the restaurant and the seat cushions were torn and very uncomfortable. Never coming here again

Good food fast service hot and tasty, I love i! Lots of room here so on the weekend this place would to be good. Chickens are on site so the eggs are fresh. food, service and friendly people here. We will be coming back and I will recommend this joint to my friends. I give them 5 stars because I have no complaints. Thank you for the great breakfast. Joe

one thing I cannot stand is being lied to. we signed in with two parties ahead of us for lunch we sat where EVERYONE SITS TO BE CALLED UPON and waited and waited and waited, finally we gave up and I was nice enough to let the gal know to remove our party from the list. she said she called upon us 4 TIMES! I said what? excuse me we have been sitting here the whole time waiting!!! 4 times? I said nooooo we walked very upset that not one single person in a very small joint came and got us for our table, WOWOWWOWOW never again.

Usually good enough for the cheap breakfast but if you have guests or a group larger than 4 people stay away. Poor service, terrible attitudes, and obviously don’t care about tourists or locals that bring family in. We are local and wonder if the staff even care about that.

I’d give them less stars if I could. If you’re old or a local, no problems, if you aren’t either of those be prepared for RUDE service.
They have a cheap breakfast special ($ 3) but the employees are so unpleasant it isn’t worth saving a few bucks.
Go somewhere else!

Chicken fried steak & biscuits and gravy!

Avoid this place at all costs. We gave this place the benefit of the doubt after reading some of these reviews. We waited forever, literally watching the cooks in the back wiping their noses and foreheads on the backs of their hands and chatting up the waitresses. In the end, the wait was for very cold, bland food. I ordered French toast (nothing complicated). When we mentioned it to some fellow Havasu regulars they immediately said «OMG yeah don’t ever go there!!» Too late now. But you’ve been warned.

More like Uncle Crappys! Rude! Rude! Rude! Guess they don’t like «city folk». Would NEVER go there again… not even if they gave away their ultra-​bland pancakes! Worst food and service my family and I have ever received!

It has been a few years since I have graced Uncle kennys, it was bad than because they still had a smoking section and food was mediocre and smelled like cigarettes,
Had breakfast there yesterday and nothing has changed food sill reeks like tobacco,
hey wait could that be because cooks were smoking in the kitchen, servers still have holier than thou attitude, place still has funky smell.
time for the Uncle whom I am going to assume is himself a heavy smoker to give this place a scrub down and paint, teach servers how to smile and not be pissed about having to work for a living, and to stop buying his food at Costco and heating it up for us to buy.

My third time eating here was Sunday after the swap meet. The two previous times I had something from the breakfast menu and the food was good. Nothing special… Sunday, I chose the roast beef melt and it was very, very good. The bread was toasted nicely and the cheese was melted. The beef was tender and sliced very thin.
There were 2 other couples waiting before us and we waited only about 7 — 10 minutes. For a Sunday morning, that’s not too bad. I remembered our waitress from the last visit and although not super outgoing and chatty, she was pleasant. She did come back to check on us and fill our drinks twice and brought the bill promptly.
I was shocked at the poor reviews since my experience was great. I will return every time I am in Havasu.

After seeing the reviews I was kinda shocked! My experience with this place has always been pretty good! I have been coming out to havasu my whole life, have family that lives there, and this is always a necessary breakfast stop for me and my fiancé! We grew up on this place! Granted, I have not been here for about a year, so maybe times have changed. I will be out there soon for my wedding, so I will be sure to update this with my experience.
Pancakes are the best I’ve had, biscuits and gravy too. I usually order the breakfast sandwich, always been happy.
Can’t say I remember having an exceptionally good or bad experience with the waitresses, so again we will have to see the next time I go there!
