Turtle Beach Bar

Fun atmosphere but terrible food. I would suggest to only go there for a beer and to relax.

The Turtle Beach Bar is a great place for people watching, socializing, relaxing, listening to music, and partying it up. I am timeshare owner at the nautical. I usually end up at this bar 2 days out of my week. Its a great place to hang out with your family order some drinks and food poolside. The food is very mediocre priced high but the ambiance makes up for it. I usually stick to easy items like Pizza and chicken strips. Tried some of their sandwiches not very good. We usually order a couple of beers, sneak in some liquor and order mixers from the bar. My kids love swimming and making new friends here. They usually have a DJ on the weekends.

I’ve been going to Havasu almost every year for the past 8 years or so, and we always visit the local «hot» spots. I can’t comment on how good the food is since I only tried the mozzarella cheese sticks. Uhmm…$ 10 for 5 sticks!?? And NOT even good ones at that! They tasted like they came out of a box! I also bought a piña colada which was good and refreshing but very overpriced for what you get. Then again places like this usually are overpriced, so that’s why I wasn’t so shocked. The scenery is very nice though and it’s a gorgeous spot to sit n’ relax in the water. Just beware of the CRAZY water taxi drivers that pull in. These guys drive as though they’re senile and flat out not giving a sh*t about who’s behind them, getting off the boat, or who they might be running into in front of them! HORRIBLE!!! BE CAREFUL!

So we came here for some drinks, and because my California ID is vertical, I couldn’t order an alcoholic beverage. In Arizona there’s a law that after 30 days from your 21^st birthday your ID has to be horizontal. Just a heads up anyone from CA heading to Arizona, have your ID horizontal. Usually only for the newly 21 year olds that have the vertical licenses. Btw I am 24. Just a heads up.
Drinks were good though for the people that did have them who were with me.

We stayed at the resort and didn’t enjoy it but the next day by the pool was really a great time. The bartender was so friendly and recommend a great drink. It was served in a bucket which was so fun. The pool was gorgeous and clean. There were families there with kids and every age range seemed to be having a great time. The bar food was pretty yummy and very reasonably priced. This is a genuinely nice place to spend an afternoon. The view is truly gorgeous from the pool.

Love the food and atmosphere of this place. It is nice to sit outside and watch all the boats go by. The buckets are awesome and fun. The food is good too. Our favorites are the pretzel sticks and the Chile cheese steak sliders. It does get crowded here so you may need to be prepared to wait for service.

The area and concept are great with friendly bar tenders. The bucket drinks are fun but the food is terrible. You have to have polished off a bucket of booze to enjoy it and it’s way overpriced for what it is.
I ordered the chop chop salad and it tasted like they pre made it the previous week and threw it in the fridge. I asked that my chicken be served hot instead of cold and I’m pretty sure they just microwaved it. The chicken was room temp and had a strange texture that didn’t come close to anything that was cooked fresh.
If you come here stick to drinks get food elsewhere.

All out of state customers read! If your ID does not expire so you don’t have to renew it and it’s still vertical you WILL NOT be allowed to buy alcohol. They will not serve you any alcohol unless your ID is horizontal. Even if your birthday is on it and showing you’re over 21. Complete bull crap… Manager told us it’s new Arizona law.

Waitress decides she didn’t like me purchasing beers from the bar and throws them all out. That’s great for a quick buck but not good for long term business. Definitely leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

In lake Havasu for spring break so wasn’t sure what to expect. We arrived just as it opened and it quickly got busy. However, our waitress Julia, busted butt and really took care of us. We had a large party of 10 and we didn’t wait on anything. A Mexico –on-​the beach type atmosphere and food was what you’d expect. The fish tacos are large and very good. I had chicken caprese sandwich at waitress recommendation and wasn’t disappointed. Great views on the lake. Really enjoyed it. Good Bloody Mary. Hubby had philly sliders and liked. Daughter had grilled cheese and it was nice and crispy. Cactus burger was another good hit.

Off season visit. Good service. Typical bar food. Beautiful view and I bet it’s crazy fun during the busy season. Enjoyed the peaceful time.

A must go eat here when in Havi! Food was good! My drink was better. Frozen yumminess. Not strong, just tasty after a night of drinking. The scenery is relaxing and pretty. This place is at the Nautical.

After a few hours on the boat we needed to stop and get some food and drinks. (And bathrooms) It’s a great atmoshphere, lots of fun. The service was pretty good, especially considering it was pretty busy. The drinks were awesome. Lots to choose from and served in printed take away cups. Everyone at our table had something different. We got your typical burgers, chicken, fries, salads, etc. Everything came correctly and there were about 10 people in our party. The waitress took pictures for us and kept the drinks and the jokes going until we were ready to get back on the water. This would definitely be a good place to stop whenever I go back again. Bathroms were clean and the views of the sunsetting on the lake were nice. Great place for family too.

Don’t have a boat? No problem! Come to Turtle Beach Bar! You can hang out lakeside and take in all of what Lake Havasu has to offer.
Prices are average. Food is okay. Drunken snacks standards aren’t usually high. I came here on an off day so we were the only ones there at 11am on Columbus Day but the bartender opened early for us and was very accommodating! We shared the ground beef nachos and it was delightful to us sober folks. Think of a bigger version of everyone’s Taco Bell’s favorite nacho bell grande.
This seems like an awesome place to hang out outdoors. We’ll be back!

Comfortable to sit and enjoy the beautiful Havasu weather and have some nice drinks and food. Which I did!
There are not a lot of places this beautiful in the world.

I love this place… If u r on the lake on ur boat And u r looking for a place were u can park ur boat have a drink enjoy the pool And a great lunch this IS the place… Every time i came to Lake Havasu i came HERE Its my favorite spot for lunch

Food wasn’t worth it, very expensive for the quality you get. Drinks and staff were spot on. Great location and view with the patio overlooking the water.

Ordered the make-​it-​yourself tacos, burger, wings, and Parmesan garlic fries.
It was on par with ok. not bad to be honest, but for price… Not so much.
I’ll be back for the drinks tho

We stayed at the Nautical 4 days this week and spent part of each day at The Turtle Beach Bar.
The first day I was shocked by how great the appetizers and drinks were! The service was fantastic also, our orders were so confusing as different parts of our group were constantly coming and going out to the boat and jet skis or over to the blow up playground and our waiter kept up with the confusion and was cheerful and helpful the whole time. Plus we had 2 dogs with us and they made sure their water bowl was always full.
On the last day we ordered a bucket with 4 straws and OMG it was good!
Over the 4 days we went there we received consistently good food and service every single time.
I can’t wait for next year!

Didn’t get a chance to eat here so this review is for bar nightlife only! I loved the location its right on lake Havasu so you can dock your boat and go party! The bar tenders were great the music was even greater. Loved the atmosphere and they have TVs all along the bar too so you can drink and watch sports. It was pretty awesome!
