After adventuring outside and hiking around Lake Havasu, my group and I were super duper hungry. So, we opted to go for one of the only buffet options in Lake Havasu. And I’m glad I got to experience the super service of «Grandma». If you can get seated in Grandma’s section, you will definitely be a happy camper(in terms of service). She is the sweetest old woman who will take the best care of you. She will definitely treat you like you’re part of her family. As for the food, it really is basic Golden Corral food. It’s hard to expect a lot when you’re eating an all you can eat meal at a chain buffet. They have pretty mediocre steak, but it’s hard to complain when it’s all you can eat. The sausage at the carving station is decent and I went back for more. It’s very basic, but I enjoyed eating my baked potato where I chose all the toppings. One of the worst things I had here were the crab legs. Do not get the crab legs! They are very dry and hard to take out of the shell. Trust me, I’m an expert at all you can eat casino crab legs. Also, they had this weird, white, crumbly protein on the shell. It was really off-putting and you’re guaranteed to get some the crab meat you pick out. One of the highlights, besides the impossible-to-mess-up baked potatoes, was the strawberries at the chocolate fountain. The chocolate wasn’t too sweet, which was nice since I prefer dark chocolate anyways. Also, the strawberries you could dip in the chocolate were super sweet. Since they were so good, I would say a good portion of my meal was chocolate covered strawberries that night. This buffet joint is an alright place to go to if you are nervous about trying new things in Lake Havasu. But, there are different alternatives that may prove to be way better. Again, get seated in Grandma’s section if you do decide to go!

Having heard about this place, I stopped in on Saturday evening. That turned out to be a mistake. It seems it was their crableg and prime rib night. Coming from the NW, I dont eat snow crab and prefer the much sweeter dungeness. When I got the bill, I was a little shocked. It was as much as I would have spent at a regular restaurant. This was totally my fault for not being aware of what was on their menu that evening. I will try this place at another time when prices are lower… moral is: know what is on the menu and if it is a special night… the waitress was wonderful and the place was clean.

The stake and simple was great but the crab was ice cold. The server was told and nothing was done. So no crab tonight. Everything else was great

Love this place for a quick breakfast or dinner! Great seafood selection! We were thrilled when we saw our old friend, Nancy! Her section is over by the salad bar!

***PROS*** * Easy to find, right off the main Hwy. * Friendly service * Delicious food — salads, main courses(pot roast, pizza, fish, steaks, crab legs, etc.), and desserts(chocolate fountain, cotton candy, soft serve ice cream with toppings, pies, cakes, sugar-free desserts too) * Very clean environment We were very satisfied with our meal, and would visit again.

I live in Los Angeles and we visit lake havasu in the summer time. I have been coming to the Golden Corral for a couple of years. I will be honest and say I have never been a fan of American buffets I prefer Chinese or Japanese. This buffet changed my mind. Everything I tried was good. The waitress Michelle was very good keep coming by to see if we needed anything. I had steak(very tender), ribs were good did not have anything that I did not enjoy. cornbread, veggies and don’t forget the dessert bar. Sorry only thing I forgot to try was the salad bar.

Ok I hate to say out but this isn’t a bad little buffet. The salad bar was very fresh. The fruit was very flavorful. The food was decent. I’m not a Golden Corral fan but this one hit the spot. Really just wanted a good salad. And of course ended up eating about 600 cornbread muffins with honey butter… Ate here for breakfast too, for a quick and easy breakfast. Super nice staff and excellent servers!

may the buffet gods strike mightily upon this abomination and bring tastiness back to the world! hands down the worst food I have had in years. came in with nine of us and kids. plate after Full plate was taken away, we kept trying to find something edible but failed miserably. they even had terrible, dry tasteless desserts. all the food tasted old and stale, we were shocked! so much food wasted because no one could finish a plate not even the kids who aren’t picky. Dry crab legs, cardboard foam for frosting on the desserts, the mashed potatoes tasted like a combination of too much salt and worchestershire sauce really wierd. Sad, very sad. empty parking lot at dinner explains it all.

I’ve been here a lot because the kids love it; dessert of course is the number one reason. The last two times we’ve been here the food seems old and has sat out too long! Gross! Salad bar is always good but how can you screw this up! The best server is Nana! Super nice lady and makes you feel like she’s your own grandma! But the management really needs to work on freshness!

First time at Golden Corral EVER, but if we had them back home in NH– you bet your sweet ass my family and I would visit. It’s chain buffet food– so I’ll give it 4 stars. The staff was super on top of everything, and

There’s too few ways to improve the Golden Corral.* The vast selection of excellent food is overwhelming! [We think we can dance!] The staff includes people we wish were part of the family. The salad selections are immense. Spinach, tomato, cucumber, red onion, black olive, croûton, cheese, bell pepper, dressing & as much as ya want! The beef is exquisite. All kinds! & as much as ya want! Smashed taters n gravy? Fabulous! Asparagus! Corn! Green Beans! & as much as ya want! Peach Cobbler ala mode with chocolate & nuts? Oh hell yeah! We’re FULL! We jes wish we could do it again tomorrow… oh wait… WECAN! *okay, maybe table cloths, fine china, onion rings & a wider beer selection? Thanks Golden Corral! [& only 2 miles from home! Sure is cheaper than driving to Vegas or even Laughlin!]
