Bj’s Tavern

I’ve been coming here for a few years now every time I go out to Havasu with our group of friends. I like to make this our final destination after spending all day in the sun on a boat. We stop in here, get a few drinks in us before we sign up for some karaōke. Once I get the crowd going with some awesome liquor fueled singing, I move the party outside and keep it going all night till the shuttle guy tells me it’s time to go home. To the BJ’s crew, thanks for the good times. Get ready for a visit from me and my buddies! We’ll be back.

My girlfriend and I went for the zombie crawl last night and she was roofied. Another friend of mine claims the same thing has happened to her as well at this bar THREE TIMES. They kicked her out and wouldn’t even let me give her water while she was throwing up outside. It’s been nearly 24 hours and she is still very sick. I wouldn’t trust anyone at this bar.

Pretty happening place. There arent too many places to continue the shenanigans. this place seemed as close as you can get. i am speaking for after hours lounging and debauchery. not sure how it is during the day.
some friends and I came out here after a suggestion from another bartender from another bar. i asked if there were any upbeat bars or lounges around the area. we got directed here.
the place seemed lively. lots of people, regular bar areas. it was hot as hell, so people were in shorts and t-​shirts. but it was still decent. if you want to try a nice upbeat place with music, dance floor, pretty faces, and drinks, this is probably it.

Laura the bartender was great and friendly, but the cook never even took our order. Idiot. DONT GO. MISTAKE.

They have the cleanest restrooms in lake Havasu for a bar. They have fantastic pulled pork sandwich, made fresh smoked at the bar. If you haven’t been in there in the last two months please go in and try it

Absolutely love this place. The staff was extremely friendly. I even had the opportunity to me the owner who is an all around great guy. The drinks are cheap and the music was good. The next time im in Havasu ill be sure to stop by again.

I love this place this staff is friendly the owner All around nice guy drinks are good and cheap… also there is a lady here who has a kitchen in the back and the food is fabulous but the pulled pork is of the hook… must try… yum yum

This is the best bar to dance and listen to hip hop at close to my sub par motel no tell not the holiday inn but the knights inn! Within walking distance but when you want to take a girl back here they get creepy at the lobby… Lol

It’s a decent bar from the outside. but go inside on a Friday or Saturday night and it’s a bunch of miserable employees that don’t want to be there and don’t want to serve you and they’d rather be someplace else. imagine a bunch of zombies that just had a root canal and that’s what you get at this place.

Had a blast dancing with friends! The DJ was really good too. He played a great mix of today’s music & music from the ’80’s that I grew up on. Also, I loved that when I asked for water because it was hot, I got iced water in a real glass instead of a plastic cup.

Bj is a everyone’s bar it has a little bit of everyone. indoor and outdoor area summer there is mister winter there are heaters great music outside dance indoor has kareoke and pool tables. They have snack foods so when your drinking you can grab a bite to eat before going home most all the bartenders are awesome Christine and Julia are 2 of the best and run around trying to get everyone when busy. Its a great place has a little of everything great for party’s

By far one of the worst bars I’ve ever been to. Upon arriving there were a few rude people yelling racist remarks at our group outside the bar. Once we walked in and order our drinks we realized this was a bar full of crack heads. There was a pregnant bartender who was very rude as well. Took off after the first drink. Oh and to walk in an out of the bar you must go through a karaōke room that is full of old men and women and by old I mean old!

This is a total locals hangout and by locals I mean the bottom of the barrel. Were talking fools with no teeth, crackheads, tortas and other misfits. Ive been here 3 times before with my girl. We usually get hammered drunk and dont pay attention to our surroundings just dance our ass off. However, I came here with some friends during our annual fellas trip. First mistake was walking in sober. Shot some pool inside, they have a grill here and it really stinks up the place, smells like overcooked oil, nasty. All furniture is sticky and smelly. The locals are sticky and smelly too LMFAO. Everyone knows each other not much selection for mingling since the local ladies are all butch here, crack addicts and or 3000lbs, my apologies for sounding like a jerk, I know big girls need lots and lots of love too.
As raunchy as the locals look they are pretty cool though. No fights people intereacting as if they always meet up here to end their night. The drinks were stiff they dont hold back here, the prices are very reasonable. The music has always been good there is dancing on the patio. Just remember to get hammer drunk this way your focus is on the music, lights and hopefully the partner you brought. Dont come here alone!

I don’t really now where to begin… I read the other reviews, and I guess they all are fairly accurate. The place is somewhat divey, the crowd is very diverse, and the drinks are super strong and awesomely cheap.
However, my friends and I still had a ridiculously great time here. We played some pool, got harassed by some strange lady who really liked white teeth, and met the coolest family from Nebraska. Come to think of it, everyone we met there was really cool and very friendly. From locals, to the bouncers, to the servers and bartenders. Also, it turns out there is an entirely different area that is next to the regular bar. This secret bar was pretty much a night club and played music that wasn’t country. We didn’t realize this until the very end of the night lol.
I would DEFINITELY come back here if I ever visit Havasu again, and I know my friends would be down as well.

On Sunday’s One-​Eyed Romeos usually plays outside and they are a good cover band with a wide mix of songs. Nice misters to keep the heat at bay.
The frozen drinks however should be skipped. The owner himself mixed a fresh dacquiri but it was too weak and not flavorful. You get what you pay for and it was cheap. The waitress gave my husband free soda since he was driving.
The inside was a cloud of smoke but the patio is nice. Mostly a 50+ crowd. We watched one woman who kept belly dancing to every song.
