Vans

This is the only vans store in the area so unfortunately I am forced to go here and always can never leave soon enough.
They are never decently stocked — every time I ask for my size, there is always only ONE pair, and turns out there’s always something wrong with it (stitching, glue, display pair). And then the sales associate claims there’s only one pair in my size because they only stock another when this one is sold. Complete lie.
The people that work there are embarrassing to Long Island and the human species. Annoying and pretty useless, with rather pompous attitudes for working in such a store. Lol you’re not that cool at all to behave like that.
The pair of black leather slip ons I wanted (last pair of course), had a chunk of glue above the sole. I let the chick know and she quickly scampers to the front trying to scratch it off. By the time I went up there, the white specks of glue were all over the black leather. And she barely even removed any of the large chunk anyway. I am usually a calm person, but when someone messes with my shoes, I wanted to just slap the sh*t out of her. After this episode, I have now decided to boycott this vans store. Thanks idiot!

I never write reviews for retailers but in this case I’ll make an exception. This store seems to not have the slightest clue how to properly stock merchandise. I am a size 11.5 shoe, and an XXL in shirts and hoodies. I’ll admit that, understandably, not many retailers cater to size XXL mens clothes but this store doesn’t seem to bother with that size at all. On the other hand, 11.5 shoes must be an extremely common size, but this store doesn’t ever have that size in stock.
I was hoping to get a pair of Bedfords in a specific color. I stopped into this store three weekends in a row with no luck. Out of stock. It took me 3 more weeks of calling at least twice a week, and finally one day, to my amazement, they had the shoes in stock. I mentioned if to the sales rep, and all she could say was they were a popular shoe. No apology or concern for my weeks of sheer agony.
This vans store’s lack of stocking the shelves properly has caused me to leave hundreds of dollars in my pocket that I would have been more than happy to spend on some decent clothes.

I am ROCKIN’ a new set of board shorts for 2014!
Hey, I don’t board and I’m over 40. I tell you what, I do look good in original Vans beach casual shoes, my new board shorts as well as cool tees.
There are age appropriate clothing, I can’t shop at Zumiezs with my sons. And some how Tillys is now off their radar.
But Vans? I’m still rockin’ them, just like I did in the Hamptons back in the day.
