Things Remembered

Absolutely the worst customer service. Billy who runs the engraving machine needs to stay in the back away from customers. He has no manners, very unfriendly, very rude, & extremely no patience. In addition his tone when speaking with customers is very condescending & indignant. I will not ever purchase from this location again. 2x in one year (May & Aug) is 2x too many. As for the various young ladies in the store, they were all the opposite. At the end of each transaction it was clear he had a serious issue with race. Everyone has the same color of money… GREEN. I will definitely send a letter of complaint to their HQ office. If you need to purchase engraved items from this chain, do so at another location other than the SmithHaven Mall in Lake Grove. Just awful!

Things remembered will now be my new go-​to for gifts! Post holiday party with my besties & Of course I saved gift buying for the last minute. Strolled into Things Remembered and thankfully there was a sale going on! The sales woman was extremely helpful and patient. There were a wide variety of gifts from picture frames, to bracelets, to beer mugs, to pocket watches & wedding gifts! I picked a pink travel mug and a silver bookmark. Before I even left the store one of the gifts were already engraved! Talk about fast service! According to the employee it takes one hour to pick up. Both gifts came out beautiful! I will not hesitate to return!
