I had the most horrible experience at Bob’s discount furniture and felt I was totally lied to and ripped off having purchased the warranty. So I was expecting the same when I called Raymour about a scratch in my dining table and broken swivel chairs. The technician was late because he was held up at another customer but he was polite and called to let me know. When he showed up he didn’t rush me or the work he walked through each issue I had and then spent an hour fixing a gouge in the table and all of the chair even checking the ones that were ok. His work was excellent! I cant even see where the gouge was! I love the furniture and I think the technician that they sent was really a quality employee!

This place is the gold standard of how NOT to conduct business. Salesman Hector not only blew a potential sale but turned off this customer so terribly, that I have made it a point to steer people away from Raymour & Flanigan. We were extremely pleasant and friendly toward him and politely and simply asked if he can do any better on a dining set. He went into and room to discuss with his manager. He came out with a fair price and I then told him my wife and I were going to discuss it and come back. In a stunning display of pathetic unprofessionalism he got visibly upset and asked angrily«what’s there to discuss? I just got you a good deal». I told him, very politely, that we would like to discuss the purchase privately. Keep in mind this is a $ 2000 plus purchase. I asked him how long he can hold that deal, expecting him to say«for the rest of the day» and instead he snapped«right now» and went on a tirade about how if we leave the offer is gone. Now, we have been to all of the usual stores leading up to this and EVERYONE was nice and civil in the same exact situation and always shook my hand and gave me their card and the sheet on which all of the numbers/prices were written on for my personal record. I asked Hector for that same piece of paper and he snarled with a smug and angry smirk telling me «no way– this is our property and the deal is only for right now». He turned his back on me and walked away without saying anything like«ok, here’s my card if you come back in» etc etc. The whole experience was so rude and disrespectful that we chose to abandon any consideration of that set as we refused to step foot in that store ever again. We went to another store right in that area and purchased a set for an additional $ 700. So, thank you Hector and Gloria(who greeted us and abandoned us right away while we waited for her to discuss a purchase) for setting the benchmark for awful salesmanship and how not to treat customers. The people at the«other place» were beyond nice, friendly, courteous and respectful. I’m glad they got our money and not this sleazy crew.

Went in knowing EXACTLY what dinette set I wanted after browsing online but left without buying a single stick of furniture thanks to a high-pressured salesman. High-pressure tactics are a major turn-off for me and a good salesperson should recognize when they’ve gone too far and back off when they are losing a customer. I just wanted the darn dinette set and was ready to buy it but he lost a customer. Also, he told me that the middle pedestal was solid wood but I have since found out it is not actually solid wood. He actually made me lift the«solid wood» table to prove to me how heavy it was, and then left to «make a phone call» to see how low he could go on the price. I felt like I was buying a car. He and I spoke on the phone before I got to the store and he said if I came down for the Columbus Day sales he’d offer me a great discount so I dropped everything and went. It’s Columbus Day, all sorts of furniture sales were going on, but when I got there he offered me a whopping $ 20 off the regular price. I told him I’ve done my research on «solid wood pedestal dinette sets» and I know what I should be paying and I’m here tonight to buy it with cash(well, a debit card) in hand. I also reminded him of what he said on the phone about this big Columbus Day discount he would give me. He said I could save another $ 60 if I picked the set up and assembled it myself. No thanks. Hello, Ethan Allen? How late are you open?

An example of an extremely well managed store great staff polite and warm. The leather couches are beautiful but you must look at the new polyester that looks and feels better than leater. The Electric recliners are awesome. Looks like my next buy!
