Christmas in New York

If you’re as Christmas crazy as I am you can do some serious damage to your shiny plastic here. Stumbled upon this store while walking around Smith Haven Mall. My eyes opened wider when I saw the words Christmas and I went to leap into the store. The store was empty and had a young girl behind the counter. I thought to myself, oh this is perfect the store all to myself like some celebrities that have stores shut down just for them to shop in. That not being the case I knew all too well the store was empty due to the time of year. Either way I was a happy camper being able to take my time looking around and see if there was anything I would like to add to our tree this year. I start my Christmas shopping in September always anyway, so picking out some new ornaments in June just gets me in the mindset September isn’t too far away. I’m glad they were open, I picked up two new ornaments for our tree. It did take me a while to decide on one particular one and it all came down to the pose the figure was in. They have a huge selection of ornaments, in any style you could possibly imagine, many of which are hand painted. I went with a Coca Cola Polar Bear, and my better half went with a KISS ornament (like I said, any style you could imagine). The ornaments are a little pricey; $ 20 for one and the other I believe was $ 16. It won’t stop me from shopping here again if I’m in the area and looking for cute Christmas stuff.

Oooh! Shiny Christmas ornaments! If you want an Xmas fix then stop in. The ornaments are not Hallmark quality but then again you aren’t paying 30 bucks for Snoopy kissing Mary Lou Henner or some nonsense like that. Its the basic stuff.
Good store to kill 10 minutes in as you wait for.Xmas.
