I liked this hotel location. The lobby was super cute and the entire hotel is set up as a log cabin. There is Adirondack furniture all around. The rooms are very comfy. Breakfast was pretty basic but it’s included in the rate so no complaints there! Only complaint is that the hotel had the fire alarm go off at 4:30am and everyone had to evacuate for about 20minutes and none of the staff explained what happened or invited everyone back inside when the fire department was finished. It supposedly was the front desk woman’s burnt toast that made the alarm go off. That was a bummer.

This is the best hotel if your car breaks down on your way to Montréal— and you may still question why I think this hotel is 5 stars, it’s NOT but in my time of need– they helped me so they will get 5 stars from me and the fact that manger asked me write a review on the tripadvisor when I showed my gratitude. If you have been in this area, you know that Super 8 is located on every exit and it is only hotel option around. On my way to Montréal, my car broke down so I stayed here overnight and left my car for a week in their parking lot before getting AAA to pick it up. I also left them the car key so they worked out the details with the AAA tow truck for me as well. The manager and front desk staff were so helpful and when I kept thanking them, they kept saying if I was in the same situation, I would expect other folks to treat me the same way. As far as Hotel goes, it is decent 2.5 star and has a wooden log house kind of feeling to it. Rooms are small and bathrooms are old, beds are somewhat comfortable – and overall for 80 bucks a night, you get what you paid for. lol. I will never be back here but I am forever thankful for the help I got from these folks who work here in my time of need.

Great little Super 8. Some of the reviews below are for another Super 8 near Lake George Village. This location is actually in Warrensburg, kind of isolated so make sure you book the right one. We got a room for $ 61 on Hotwire and with free breakfast the value can’t be beat. There is a grocery store, McDonalds and a gas mart all right nearby. Great place to crash for the night before a ski trip.
