Came here on a sunday evening. Only one other table at 6:45pm. Service was friendly. The fried fish filet house spring rolls were . my date who doeant eat fish often, really enjoyed them too. Passion fruit drink soso. Definitely nice that it was freah but i forgot how tart it is. Drink was also loaded with ice. I got the combo phở, regular size. Phở was delicious, hot soup, firm noodles, decent meats, savory soup. But someone call the Environmental Protection Agency because theres been a serious oil spill in my phở. Maybe thats the secret to the soup staying steaming hot. the layer of oil keeping the heat in. Hah! Otherwise, there was a hair in my tendon, and my hot water cup was dirty. They offered to comp a passion fruit drink the next time we come back but sorry not sorry. I hope the EPA shut yall down or clean up some of that oil or I wont be coming back!

I’ve been here multiple times and Saturday I can say. was TERRIBLE. I didn’t catch the waiters name. shin? shiu? He was older. I don’t understand why restaurants hire loud, ridiculously rude AND cheap waiters like him. Taking my business somewhere else thanks a lot to your so called amazing waiter!

Excellent service, excellent food for an excellent price. I have nothing negative to say about this place. A friend of mine who lives in Lake Forest recommended this place when I asked her for the best Vietnamese food in the area and I’d now have to totally agree with her. My wife constantly begs for me to take her back here, the beef phở is that good. The servers are super friendly and always asked me if i need anything else. Fast service, good price, good food, i will definite come back.

Had the most delicious Vietnamese coffee here! Ordered a second one to go! Had chicken curry with phở noodles — I like that they offer it on the side so I can eat as much as I want. Didn’t like that the chicken had bone in– and soggy skin. My daughter had chicken phở and her chicken was yum! And we have enough for dinner for her!

Great quick spot to pick up phở. Good prices too. Service is super friendly, they recognize their regulars, which is always a plus. Everything I’ve tried is delicious. Veggie rolls, crepes, noodle dishes, soups, and that passion fruit drink(mmm!). The only negative is that they use MSG. «Just a little bit» but still.

… not much to say here. Ordered a phở ga(chicken) and it took around 45 minutes… Mind you, there were only 3 tables taken in the whole restaurant. The stars goes to the appetizer wings that took only 20 minutes to cook. Maybe next time I will just order Togo instead of having lunch here, maybe that’ll cut the wait time…

It’s not even busy only three tables are served at this moment yet the servers have such a hard time to get a me glass of water. Cleaning the table shouldn’t be a priority but at least serve me a water don’t make the customers repeat twice! Service is definitely lacking and staffs needs a lot more training! Plus I don’t understand why they use disposal plastic cups and waste so much materials. Completely absurd!

Nice restaurant, wanted to give them a chance. But as soon as we walked in, the man behind the computer ignored us. He then acknowledged us after standing in front of him for 30 seconds. After sitting, he continued to stare at the computer and there was clearly no one else available to serve us. There were 3 other tables in the restaurant… not busy. Someone came out of the back and cleared a table, passed by us a few times, no acknowledgment yet. Finally after the man behind the computer finished his taxes, he greeted us with, «are you ready?» We said yes and got up and left. The table who sat after us also got up and left shortly after. I know this because they took a seat next to us at the next closest Phở restaurant down the street.

Amazingly beautiful décor, lighting system, surreal music from south America in a stylish setting for enjoying you phở. I had the shaken beef which consists of cubed filet mignon cooked with garlic in a savory mouth watering sauce served with you bed of rice along with home made chicken stock soup and a hearty cold sesame based dressing. What a beautiful way to start the evening.

Beautiful restaurant, with beautiful service, food and aura. What more could you ask for? I have been here numerous time for dinner, and sometimes it gets quite busy as for other days it’s alone. Either way the food has never disappointed me, and the waiters/waitresses are always so nice and immediately help me when needed. I have also ordered to go and from the reviews below i was a bit nervous but let me just say that everything that I asked for a in there, including extra bean sprouts and salsa and such! Please don’t hesitate on coming here, best Vietnamese restaurant! I should also try their second location :)

Best Vietnamese restaurant I’ve been to in awhile. Their Thai Tea is a 10⁄10. Didn’t go cheap with any of the ingredients. They have a Passion Fruit Drink that is made with real fruit that is grown in their backyard. The food was amazing and the service was great. A must try place

Finally, a place with a simple name and means it. Yeah of all places, I’ve heard Phở 69, Phở-k You, Phở King Way, Phở-dunkulous, its starting to get Phở-diculous. I’m a fan of their noodle soup. There’s no need to squeeze lots of fresh limes on them because their broth is flavorful and soul delicious. I’ve already tried it with chicken and oxtail beef. The boiled meats are tender and It didn’t matter what you add on them, there still good and comforting. Checkout their lunch specials at $ 6.99 and it comes with a fried egg-roll. Also, I liked their Rice Vermicelli Noodles. I had them topped with beef. The meats were heavily marinated and when stirred up with the linguine noodles, it didn’t disappoint. From the topped charring onions to the gingered pieces at the bottom, the tastiness was a big hit! Out of my Vietnamese restaurant findings, this is the only place that makes this dish soupier in the bottom. This place isn’t stingy on their servings, their regular sized bowl has a good amount of noodles that makes you stay full. However, I’ve had their Vietnamese iced coffee more than once and they never fill them to the top, and they put in so much ice. They Love their Phở, but«Not so much Love on their iced coffees» they tasted a little dark. I guess they are stingy on milk because it needed some. Next time, I should pass on these. The ambience is nice, its newer and they decorate the place depending on the season. House music is played during your dine-in and they have big screen monitors to follow sporting events. There’s not too many phở joints at this part of O.C. and so far this place offers really good phở that makes it worthy for me to visit here on lunch days off work.

I don’t normally crave phở, but on the day that I came here, it happened to be cold & rainy and a bowl of phở seemed like a god idea. I had read good reviews about this place so I decided to check it out. The restaurant is very spacious and the staff was attentive. I got the phở special, and it was incredible! Lots of yummy meats inside and the broth was delicious! I also got egg rolls, which were okay, and a Thai tea, which was yummy! I had read that they put a lot of ice in their drinks so I asked for little ice, which they gave me but they also didn’t fill the drink to the top. They are located in a strip shopping mall area and there is plenty of parking. I would definitely return and perhaps try another one of their specialties. Just writing about this now makes me want a bowl of phở!

I totally agree with Felix. L who reviewed this place earlier, their phở stock does taste like meat broth with a dash of flavor enhancer. The bowl size is pretty small, so I can say it is a bit on the higher price, but since they have varieties unique items on the menu, maybe it is good to save some room to try other dishes. Broth here is probably the most greasy I have ever tasted, so I couldn’t enjoy the broth. The soups was served hot and noodle was ok. I really wanted to try their green rice fried shrimp appetizer but they were all sold out. I will come back for that. Fish spring roll’s wrapped with hot crispy fish fries inside, the green was fresh and sauce was mild yet complimented all flavors together. Fried chicken wings were seasoned in garlic sauce, and chicken was crispy. I think they are good at frying something here. This might not be my favorite phở place but I really like to come back forthrir other items on the menu that they seemed pretty unique and interesting. Also I loved the ambiance, even the Halloween deco was neat and clean, restrooms are clean, staff are friendly, the restaurant doesn’t stink with a strong fish sauce!

Wow, it seems like a lot more phở places are popping up around Lake Forest. We decided to check it out and it turned out to be pretty good. I tried the oxtail phở and my wife tried the filet mignon phở. The broth was tasty and I think they make the oxtail phở in its own broth because it tasted a little more rich than the regular phở broth. Good stuff. Only reservation I have is the pricing. The portions are slightly on the small side for the price. We both got«large» bowls… now, I’ve had LARGE bowls of phở and those make this look like medium at best. On top of that, the large prices were $ 9 for the filet mignon and $ 10 for the oxtail. Don’t get me wrong, the oxtail was good. But I’d rather go to Thanh Binh II down the street for oxtail, especially for the portion to price ratio. It seems like they have a relatively extensive number of options on the menu though, including vegetarian options, so I’d be open to coming back to try some other stuff. Service was decent. They brought out a little dish of vinegar for dipping the oxtail in and it had a fruit fly in it — I pointed it out and the server promptly swapped it out with another dish. Though, I’m not sure if he realized or could see that it was a fly when I pointed it out — he probably thought I was just being picky hahaha.

Had a great time here for lunch. Lunch special includes a drink of choice and an eggroll – great deal in my book. Living the new modern feel and giant tv’s in this place too. Phở was pretty good… Lots of meat. That is all :)… … Oh wait, also good service, nice people.

This restaurant has really good quality food and perception of value. I ordered the number 13 combination bowl and it filled me up and had left over food. Noodles were fuller and not as thin as most phở places. I actually enjoyed it. Spring rolls were good but I was not ecstatic. Felt like they were packed a little loose and seem like it’s missing something. But I’ll still get them next time and cross my fingers for a better one

OMG– how many times has this phở restaurant changed?! Well We Love Phở totally has that young new vibe to it. They use an iPad to run your CC transactions and they have young waiters that actually speak English– and they’re not all Asian! Talk about changing the game a little! Lol But really, this place is pretty darn good. Clean, fresh and delivers exactly what you’re looking for. Great phở at Irvine prices. I’m a fan!
