I am and always have been a very thorough researcher when it comes to buying products and/​or services. I googled and Unilocaled a bunch of different golf instructors in Irvine/​Lake Forest as well as watching the instructors teach other people. I finally decided to go with Laurent Denis as my golf instructor and I could not be happier. I immediately knew he was not trying to teach me «his» golf swing, rather show me the proper mechanics to adapt to my natural golf swing.
Since he was an experienced caddy on the European Tour, I quickly got a lot of insight into the game of golf. Laurent pointed out my main flaws in regards to stance, body movement, club-​face movement, and follow-​through right away and it did not take long for my swing to be transformed to what it is today. I still have a lot of work to do and I have taken four lessons so far, but the improvement is extremely substantial. I would highly recommend Laurent for all age groups as he is very professional, knowledgable, and friendly. He is always going above and beyond during his lessons and even when you are just hitting balls on the range…

Laurent is correct. The more I practice my swing, the better my contact is with the ball. Warm up exercises prior to practice or play also helps.

I start playing 25 years ago, and stop for 20 years,!!! but now I want to get back in the game. working by myself in the range. But not good .a lot of bad ball, and start to be disappointed. until I meet Laurent. few lessons and voila I’m back… this guy is good. very good.and I thank him a lot for what he did to me…

It has been almost 2 months since my last review and I continue to be very happy with Laurent. I am now done with two series of five lessons and am definitely signing up for another series. I have taken a lot of lessons but never had any one who devoted so much time and energy to my golf game — mechanics and mental. And of course, best of all, we are seeing progress! I wasn’t sure I ever would at this stage of my life (I am 61). Thanks Laurent!

Laurent is great. I took putting lesson from him but every time i go to the range he comes and talks to me, give me tips and answer any question i ask him. He is very patient and a great teacher. I highly recommend him to all level of players.

Laurent is a great teacher! He’s creative, patient, and fun in teaching the golf swing as well as how to strategize on the golf course. I’ve been playing for years and had plateaued at a disappointing level. After just a few lessons, I saw a 10 shot improvement in my first round and still see possibilities to get even better. His great enthusiasm for the game and an easy-​going personality makes lessons very enjoyable. Even when I’m not having a lesson, he’ll come over and ask how I’m hitting or how I played and offer pointers. I’m enjoying golf more than ever. I recommend Laurent for all levels.

Coach Laurent is the best! My daughter has been taking lessons from him for almost three months now. I can see huge improvements and consistency on her swing. He is very patient and encouraging to his students, most importantly, he cares about his students. He always spends extra time on her to make sure she gets the correct swing during her practice time. If you are considering golf lessons for your kids, he is great place to start. Highly recommended!

Laurent is probably the best golf trainer I had so far. He is very calm and approachable and goes above and beyond for his students. He recently suggested graphite irons for me and my new set made a huge difference in my game. Laurent is working with you not against you. Not pushy but knows exactly how to improve your swing. I will continue to practice with Laurent and can highly recommend him both for beginners and single handicappers.

I have been playing golf for many years, and Laurent is the best instructor I have seen. After 3 lessons, I got a hole-​in-​one! Highly recommended for any level of player who wants to improve their game. There is also a very enjoyable «click» of students who hang out in his practice area at Lake Forest Golf Range.

Laurent is awesome! Cares about you and helps you understand the game at such a simple level. He’s great with youth too. Would recommend him to anybody who wants to get better at any experience level! You will be glad you did

I took lessons with Laurent and loved it. I’m new at golf and he made it fun and enjoyable. He was professional looking and completely set up when i arrived. Looking forward to my next lessons soon.
