Deerpath Community Park

Very nice park. There must be enough room here for 4 – 5 soccer fields and they have a nice running path going all the way around. I believe that one lap is ²⁄₃ of a mile. My kids go to the grade school which is right by here and we have always thought the school and park are well maintained and good for the kids. The LF Rec Center is right next to the park yet for some reason it’s not up on Unilocal (which is surprising because they offer a lraot of wonderful programs that we really love). Anyway, this whole facility is great and this park is where they always have the 4^th of July celebrations. We’ve had Eddie Money, Village People, and KC and The Sunshine Band so its usually quite a spectacle. Overall this is a very nice place. Definitely a great place to take your kids so they can run themselves out tired. The tennis courts are also in great shape, though the practice wall could use some renovations.
