Great home cooking. Large portions and friends, prompt service. Stop here every time we are in area and it’s time to eat.

This is an OK diner. We came here for breakfast. They listened. Hubby said to make me 2 sunny sides up with well done in the bottom and they came out like that. I had 2 eggs with pancake. The menu says special pancake or something but it’s the same pancake like I’ve seen elsewhere, no worries. I didn’t finish the pancake, too much food. Hubby ordered eggs and ham. That’s another big meal so I had to stop him from finishing them all. He listened too! The front entrance looked pretty good with all those plates and banners for sale. I’d buy one if I see some wordings I like but didn’t really go there to shop. If we stay in the area again I think I’ll go again, why not. It doesn’t hurt to have non-organic eggs for a day. I like the name though.

I really liked this place, and not just because I’m staying in the hotel next door and it’s the easiest place to go to. The service was prompt and friendly, and my blue cheese burger was excellent. I only like about 50% of the burgers I try, so consider this high praise. It is more of a restaurant with diner-style food.

Our party of 3 visited on a Monday for lunch. It looks like they can seat about 125, but it was bare bones empty when we were there. Décor and furnishings all appear to be 30 year old originals — — - typical for this area. I had a Monte Cristo sandwich — — piled well with turkey and ham, sandwiched between French toast… and an order of onion rings and slaw. The food was«adequate»; really nothing special. Prices were very fair. Staff was not friendly(not UN-friendly — — but not friendly) and unattentive. If I were hungry and wasn’t looking for anything special, I’d stop in again. Just don’t have any expectations of anything more than«adequate».

Below average. Staff was unfriendly… Not even a hello at the front door or my waitress. Creamed chipped beef was so so. I travel this highway a lot and won’t be back.

My one star rating tells you all that you need to know about Twin Rocks. The food is of a low quality cooked inadequately. The strange thing is that 20 years ago it was exactly the same.

This place is a legitimate truck stop — like from a movie. An eighties movie. The waitress doesn’t come out from behind the counter. The décor needs updating. The bathroom has a shower in it. The food wasn’t spectacular, and for some reason I feel BAD only giving it two stars. I think I’m just a sap for retro things, and this definitely fits the bill. You could do worse, but you can do better as well.

The Food Bitch says: delicious chili, chunky with beef. Perfect grilled cheese; hot crispy crust, creamy cheese. Yum!

Wasn’t very tasty. Had the turkey melt and my dad had the monte cristo. Turkey was dry and cheese didn’t really pull everything together. Probably shouldn’t have stopped here. But the server was kind.

I feel like I could get better nachos at a gas station. The quesadilla was eh and the burger made my boyfriend spew. Definitely never coming back.

good solid reuben here. just off the highway(84) …a friendly staff. The table we were seated at still had some coffee stains on it from earlier in the day… but just a minor issue. I’d stop again for the reuben the next time I’m in the area. Fries were OK… better than average.

Great find in the middle is nowhere. Great service. Food arrived quickly and was really tasty. Spaghetti sauce was home made and the meatballs had a great flavor. Great fries too. Crispy on the outside and hot and soft on the inside. Turkey Ruben was one of the best I have had. And prices were very reasonable. Family friendly.

The staff is very nice the food is ok Six of us stopped in for lunch. Prices are a little high I thought. My daughter was 1⁄3 through her bacon cheeseburger when she found a LONG hair inside the meat. The waitress was very apologetic and brought he something else but they left the burger on the bill!!! The rest of the food was OK nothing spectacular.

I signed up for a Unilocal account specifically to give this review. Do not order the«Loaded nachos»… I went for the nachos because I was suspicious of this place, thought that nachos would be a pretty safe bet, and that it would be a difficult item to botch. I was wrong, and it was a pitiful waste of six dollars. Firstly, the ingredients were cold, including melted cheese. This somewhat boggled my mind; I mean… did they first melt it and then cool it in a freezer? Second, it was apparently assembled by someone with no concept of proportions or care for any sort of presentation. It looked as if they put everything in blender in a bold attempt to create the first-ever nacho smoothie. It tasted like it came from their garbage disposal. If you’re wondering whether the boneless chicken wings were better, I can tell you that they were… but only just. Obviously prepared from a box, these microwave cheapies were about 90% breading and possibly 10% chicken. I say possibly because although I did not perform DNA tests on the«meat», it did taste vaguely of chicken. Another 7.50 wasted. If I were absolutely forced to eat here again – and it would probably take waterboarding or some grotesque form of torture to do so – I would order the quesadilla. It was the only thing I could actually eat more than a few bites of without the urge to be sick.

Just awful. I feel sort of bad writing this because the staff was very nice but the food is simply bad. We stopped after seeing the sign along the highway and very much regretted that decision.

Passing through moving our«stuff» from Ohio to Massachusetts and stopped here for lunch. Great atmosphere and good service. Good meatloaf is hard to find, but this is good place to try it. You won’t be disappointed with anything here.

Near the highway in a resort area keeps them going. Staff was friendly, building was clean, but hash browns were a brick of pressed gator tots like McDonalds? Give up your diner badge!

We stop in a lot for pie and coffee. But their dinners are great too. Great deal, easy on the wallet, and quality ingredients and good American fare. Friendly and kind waitstaff. Nice souvenir shop and cool country signs for your second home or lake cabin. It is great to stop here if the rain or snow has the roads difficult to drive, or if you want to have a leisurely chat with someone, they never rush you, and the seating is comfortable and the place relaxed with good background music. Best diner around the area.

I am glad we missed the exit on rt 81 for the cracker barrel. We continued on to rt84 on our way up to MASS. I got on Unilocal and looked for a place to eat. Up popped Twin Rocks Dinner. What great place it’s not often that all 4 people eating have absolutely no complaints about there dishes. I had the bacon blue cheese burger. No preprocessed frozen patties at this place. Just check out my pic!
