«WOW» pretty much sums up Wendy Laurel and her work. Just one look at Wendy’s portfolio on her website and I absolutely fell in love with her style. Such beautiful soft photos playing with color and light. Wendy captured all the love and aloha spirit on our special wedding day in Maui. She was a pleasure to communicate and to work with in the months and days leading up to our wedding day. She arrived to our hotel resort on time to capture our «getting ready» photos. She made myself, the groom, and the wedding party feel at ease in front of the camera. Wendy guided us and positioned us throughout the day to get best shots possible. The photo package we selected included a second shooter, Jeffrey, and he was equally as nice as well.
During our wedding reception, we had some rain blessings which prevented us from taking some bride and groom portrait shots with the sunset, however Wendy contacted us the day after the wedding to offer to take a few more portraits of the newlyweds with the sun setting along the beach. That was a very kind gesture of her, and unexpected, as I’m not sure if any other photographer could be as sweet and thoughtful as her. I’ve heard that couples often wait a few months to see their wedding photos, however we received our wedding day images exactly one month after our wedding day, and they were oh so amazing! Everyone has commented on how lovely our wedding photos are, and we are thankful we had Wendy capture our special day. Mahalo from the bottom of our hearts, Wendy!

we love wendy. and we love wendy’s vision and colors! she made my very apprehensive family comfortable and our session was fun, crazy and all us. she uses film and sunlight to create great images– hardest part was waiting for the film to be processed and to wait for the images to come back from the lab!

Wendy is an amazing wedding photographer and genuinely wants to make sure your pictures and experience are wonderful. Its rate to find a photographer that gives you the digital prints included in the original cost. Wendy went above and beyond by arranging on short notice a separate photo session one day prior to the wedding. I think she is wonderful. I get so many request on Facebook asking who my photographer was for the wedding. I researched other photographers on Maui and she is one of the best pricewise, especially if you would like her to bring a second photographer. I am so happy that we chose her!

Great photographer. Reasonable prices. Lovely person. We found Wendy Laurel on the Internet when we wanted a photographer to take family photographs on Maui in February 2012. She was prompt, professional, friendly, great with our infant daughter, and took amazing photographs. We loved her artistic eye and the fact that she used real photographic film. (Note: she uses film; not digital. If you are expecting to erase flaws, it’s not gonna happen.) She has an easy order service and fast delivery of the finished prints. We highly recommend her services and we will use her again.

Amazing photos! Looooved using Wendy when my husband and got married in Hawaii. She was on time, so warm and friendly, she got us the pictures so quickly for our family and friends to see. She also had great ideas for poses, and was an absolute delight to deal with. When we go back to Hawaii for our anniversary, I am going to use her to take more photos of us — one year later on the beach. 5 stars ALL THE WAY!
