Though initially tough to get a hold of the sod farmers to get the sod, they were able to fulfill my order and get me out the door with some great sod. Thank you!
Suggestions:
1. When answering your phone/voice mail message it wouldn’t hurt to say something like «Thanks for calling Sod Farm this is so and so’» or something more friendly instead of a «Hello?» in the tone of who are you and why are you calling? I thought I had the wrong number.
2. I know you guys are busy and have big orders to fulfill, good for you. But it wouldn’t hurt to take down a caller’s info and tell them you’ll call them in at least the next few days to give an estimate of when they can come pick up sod or have it delivered instead of texting the farmer back and forth.
