Serenity Spa Maui

5 stars is the highest rating I could give, but I wish I could give higher. I also wish I could articulate more clearly how fantastic my deep tissue massage was, but I am lost for words. I have had massages all over the world and the deep tissue massage I got from Ruth was truly unbelievable! I like a lot of pressure and she gave me the perfect amount and used techniques I have never had before. The atmosphere was calming and the music was relaxing. The bed was also very comfortable. I would recommend this place to everyone. Just WOW!

Ruth and Debbie are simply masters of their craft. We have had many couples massages, but none have had this type of super-​duper tingly feeling that left us feeling like jello. Highly recommend them both and the spa!

We had the magical «Heaven» (name?) couples massage. It involves crystals, sage, massage oil, Lomi Lomi (awesome) and a singing bowl at the end. It is not over the top or underwhelming– it was just right. And if you have never experienced a singing bowl: please do it here. It really sealed the entire experience.
We met Kito at her Serenity Spa Maui office location a day before we left Maui. Best decision. Super great parking. We wanted to try something different so we asked if each of us could have both Kito and the other massage therapist, Ruth. They switched half way through which was great because we got two different styles in one session. Staying with the same person would have been great as well. It was just more fun this way.
Also, I was having some chest area issues so we did the massage on my side! It was a first and worked out super well. Did not want it to end. Very wonderful experience. My boyfriend and I had some tragic news before we came to Maui and Kito made these massages very special. The most important thing in business is true open communication. Went back yesterday for a massage and facial, both were outstanding. Sioux (Sue), has a great talent with those hands! She also did my face, it is glowing today! Don’t waste another minute looking for a great massage and facial, these ladies are awesome.

My wife and I went here for a couples massage today and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was nice the masseuses were ready to go when we arrived. I have to say that it was the best massage that I have ever had although I really haven’t had that many. I would definitely come back here in a heartbeat next time we are on Maui.

After doing much research on a variety of review type pages, I contacted Kito to set up a massage for my boyfriend and I. My boyfriend is not into the whole spa experience like I am; however, he had been suffering from lower back aches which was limiting the type of outdoor workout activities he could do on the beautiful island of Maui. Although Kito was the one with the great reviews, she was unable to do our massages due to doctors orders. Buzz Kill! Kito was so nice and apologetic that she even went on to explain her very personal medical condition which she didn’t have to do. (Good luck!) Kito assured me that a partner of hers, Jay R, would do as great of a job at providing a great massage. Additionally, she was kind enough to allow a customized therapeutic massage for my boyfriend focused on his lower back issues for 30 min rather than the 60 or 90 minute options. I was reluctant at first because I really wanted Kito to do our massages but I booked the appointments anyway just on the good vibe I got from her over the phone.
Upon my arrival Kito greeted me and introduced me to Jay R. She had me fill out a few forms. Jay R lived up to what Kito had assured me of. He provided me with a 90 minute total body blend massage with the pressure I asked for. It was probably one of the best professional massages I have ever received. I could tell Jay R recognized the areas where I needed extra attention and he stayed there until he worked out the kinks. When a massage therapist can find and focus on the spots on their own without me having to tell them then you know that they know what they’re doing. Thank you Jay R!
Now on to my boyfriend, the guy who is not into massages… The guy who couldn’t jog prior to agreeing to this. He walked out like a noodle reporting that his back felt much better. He managed to sleep through the night without pain or discomfort waking him. The true test was the next morning when he decided to walk/​run/​stretch to feel out his lower back. Granted, he took it slow but he was able to do it with no pain. Over the next couple of days he followed the same routine making sure he didn’t undo the good work Jay R did. Still, no pain and he was back to his usual workouts and running a bit more. Most importantly, he could enjoy his vacation pain free.
Needless to say, we would recommend this spa. This spa is small, quaint and very clean. The therapists are obviously very well educated in their field. If you are in need of some TLC just because or if you need a therapeutic sports type of massage don’t hesitate to take care of yourself at this spa! Until next time I’m in Maui! Aloha!

Me and my husband needed a massage after a long day of travel, and we didn’t want to pay Westin prices! We called, and Kito was so friendly and squeezes us in. It was WONDERFUL! The spa itself is beautiful and tranquil. The massage was just the right pressure for both my husband and I. We will be returning again!

My neck & shoulders had been tense and full of knots causing me to have migraines. Kito worked her magic and melted them away. I left there on an euphoric high. I will definitely be back!

Daniel, you healed me the other day. I felt more grounded, relaxed and no aches that night or day after. My first lomi lomi massage on Maui and I felt absolutely comfortable with him. Nothing fancy inside, but I’m not there to spa it out. I was there to get some straight up healing and that’s what I got. Next time we are in Maui, I’m coming back here. He uses coconut oil which is natural, edible and didn’t give me a headache. he had me at «I’m gonna do what I do okay?» yep. yes. you can only say this if you are in tuned with your own energy and your clients’ energy and body. Namaste.

I cannot rave enough about the fantastic care I got with Roxanne. After 9 nights of sleeping on terrible hotel beds, she was able to un-​kink my neck and back which ultimately helped the tension headaches I’d been having too. She was esy to communicate with (she was more gentle when asked on tender spots) and was able to fit me in at last minute. Serenity Spa is amazing!

We were visiting from out of town and wanted a great couple’s message to end our vacation. We were lucky enough to stumble upon Serenity while walking through Lahaina Town and had a wonderful sweedish massage in the adjoining rooms. The therapists were friendly, attentive, and made us feel completely at ease. I highly recommend this spa to anyone looking for a great massage while on Maui. Can’t wait to visit again:)

I had lovely massage at this cute little day spa in Lahaina. The therapist was warm and had a nice touch. I actually almost fell asleep I was so relaxed. The owner was very nice and I felt welcomed. BTW-​If you have been looking for Roxanna Grotz this is where she is doing massage now. She is one of the best therapists on Maui.
