Not satisfied with the quality of photos.

Really great experience getting family photos through our hotel. Very friendly photographer that created some nice memories for our family

I got a coupon for one free 8×10 photo at Maui Pro photography at Aston Kaanapali Shoreline Resort Hotel near the Aston Mahana where I was staying. Normally you know when you are getting one free photo, the photographer will take a series of pictures to get lighting right, ensure no one is blinking and wind does not affect the pictures.
John was our photographer, a former Berkeley alum, towers at 6’11″ was personable, professional and took photos in many scenes, in a canoe, sitting on rocks, standing by trees, near palm trees, on beach and jumping in the air.
He then offered a package deal with photos on CD which was astounding, but once he sees hour surprise, he will lower price to something more reasonable. You do get a professional release form, so you can have them printed anywhere be it Costco Lust prints, Walgreens, Walmart or wherever.
In all the shots took 15 or so minutes and the DVD burning another 7 minutes. We just browsed around and shopped in the small store within the hotel (macadamia nuts 2 11oz bags for $ 20) and tikki wind chimes for $ 12
The photo shoot was a good experience and 7 out of 50 or so shots were great. John made the photo shoot fun, told you how he wanted everyone to pose, made the session easy and enjoyable.
Their metallic prints are better than Costco’s but they are pricey.
