Kati … What can I say she is amazing!!! Best photographer I’ve ever seen and wonderful spirit as well. Kati even brought mimosas to review the video she made. Who does that :) Kati loves what she does and it shows in her photos. We are so pleased to have had Kati there to make our day special! Had the most amazing photoshoot with our photographer Kati. She is so down to earth, attentive to detail, and makes the effort to respond in a timely manner. Did a mini photo session with my hubby for our Babymoon and we fell in love with all our photos. In just 45 minutes she was able to capture some amazing photos and she definitely did not disappoint. She was able to finish editing and get the photos to us in just 24hours. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Maui!!!

My wife and I always wanted a «professional» family portrait done.
Years slip by, kids grow up, have children of their own, and suddenly we noticed that we still hadn’t done it. We planned a family vacation to Maui and decided to seek out a photographer and have a three generation photoshoot.
I contacted Tyson and scheduled the session. From the initial contact months ago, Tyson and Kati were very helpful and patient. They answered every question, made extremely helpful suggestions and couldn’t have been more accommodating to our requests.
We met at the appointed location which was suggested by Tyson, at the appointed time. We expected a 40 minute session. Tyson took pictures for well over an hour. We were never hurried or rushed. There were eight of us and Tyson took group shots, individual shots, and every combination one could imagine of our family. He was extremely patient and engaging (even with our very animated and active 5 and 7 year old grandchildren).
We could not be happier with the results!
I had to watch the slide show a few times because the tears of joy and pride made it difficult to see the pictures. We consider the cost of our photo session a bargain.
Tyson, You are a Master! Thank you from my entire ohana for this «memory»… we’ll cherish it forever!

Well our review is based on the fact that our photoshoot was canceled on us. We got this free photo with an activity. Although the free deal was only for one photo, we were going to buy more photos because we were celebrating our first anniversary. The photo shoot was suppose to start at 8 am but we received text message from photographer at 8:08 saying that «she is in the lobby and she is suppose to go for another shoot at 8:45 and if we can’t come down in 5 – 10 minutes she can re-​arrange the time». We called her at 8:12 just to be told that she can’t do it now and offered us to re-​book. We told her that we are leaving in 2 hours so she said she has to cancel. We even agreed for a shorter photo shoot but she didn’t want to do that either. Sorry for the bad review but we found it very unprofessional.

Tyson was extremely professional and courteous with excellent skills. He took tons of great pictures for my family of 6 in Maui during the holiday and we ended up buying all 500+pictures from him! Highly recommend and we sure will use him again when we are back !

These guys are awesome. Friendly, creative very personable and reasonable. I hired them to do a photo shoot for my administrative assistant who was going to Maui for her honeymoon, and Tyson really caught some special moments! They are the best Maui has to offer. I highly recommend them.

Better Together Photography is my first and only choice for any photo occasion. They are professional photos without the uncomfortable posing and positioning; you must get Tyson to do your photographs. We had the opportunity to meet Tyson to do my family Christmas photos last year in 2014. Now my Son’s photo shoot for his head shots for his acting auditions for 2015. He is excellent with children. I won’t go to another photographer. Tyson has always made the perfect suggestions to ensure a wonderful background and captures great lighting. We had a photoshoot for me and wife in Maui. Tyson was our photographer. Tyson was extremely professional and took lots of great pictures that made our Maui trip memorable. We booked a 45 minutes photoshoot but crossed well past that. Tyson was focused on taking great pictures and never held us back to those time limits. He invited us the next day to his studio for a presentation that just blew our mind. He made a 6 minute video which we are sharing with our friends and family and receiving great feedback. Everyone loved the pictures. He was very patient to all our requests and gave two versions of the pictures: one set of pictures that are very large sizes that can be used to be blown up into large frames and one set of small sized pictures that we can share on facebook and whastapp.
When in Maui, we will always go back to Tyson and BetterTogetherPhotography for any of our photographs. It was a great experience.

Kati is a fantastic! She knows how to capture that perfect moment.
I was on Maui for my wedding and at the last minute my photographer canceled. I took a chance and called BT and within 20 minutes, Kati had rearranged her schedule and was able to make it for our wedding.
She made us feel so calm about the last minute change. We were in great hands. BT saved the day and the final pictures are something we will cherish forever. So lucky the other guy happened to cancel, so we got to share our day with Kati instead.

We were in Hawaii for our Wedding/​Honeymoon, and Tyson took photos post our wedding. We regret not knowing him sooner so that he could have been our wedding photographer! Knight and day difference. Tyson is an artist, and views through the lens as such, the other guy, is just a guy with a camera! Tyson took the time to set up the shots, pick a beautiful background and then edit them perfectly, plus his presentation was just fabulous!
He is soft spoken and easy going, great to work with as well:)
