Alysse in the lounge was simply amazing. Attentive to detail and so charming. The manager Sandy made sure everything was up to par and it was! The fish tacos were delicious and you can’t beat their happy hour prices. Highly recommended!

So disappointed. I love their grilled short rib cheese sandwich. Usually it’s moist with ribs, cheese and tomatoes and a lovely side salad. But this time it was just the meat and cheese with boring fries. What happened?

I had the most amazing experience and food at Savannah Chop House in Laguna Niguel. I’ve been here twice in the last couple weeks, and the staff are awesome! Especially Leslie. Definitely recommend Savannah’s Chop House, and their beef sliders. Yum!

Hadn’t been here in a couple years following a few bad meals/service but decided to give it a try as our friends enjoy dining here. I am glad we did as our meal was great. Our server was Michael, former manager at French 75, he is very knowledgeable as well as friendly and professional. The grilled romaine salad is fresh and savory(a must try if you haven’t), my salmon was delicious(and they didn’t flinch when I asked them to prepare it like the Mahi Mahi meal but use salmon), my husband was happy with his prime rib and our friends equally enjoyed their meals(also salmon and prime rib but had the Wedge Salad and Lobster Bisque). Great evening!

Had a great dinner at this place!!! I have never done a review before on this app but I felt this warranted one! First off, the service was exceptional. Our server, Sandy, was supper sweet and very knowledgeable. From the wine she suggested, a great Pinot Noir called Decoy, to her great suggestion on dinner entrée, a perfectly cooked T-bone steak, the whole experience was amazing. Thanks Savannah restaurant. Look forward to future visits!

Great Valentines day date with My Sandy last night. Leslie was super, very attentive and professional. We started with cocktails(made by an excellent bartender) and dungeness crab cakes appetizer, followed by grilled romaine lettuce salad. All Very delicious. Sesame ahi tuna was our main dish with a side of creamed spinach(we recommend). Leslie split our salad and entrée, which we appreciated. Artesa Pinot Noir paired perfectly with our dinner. Lemon tart and chocolate cake picked by Leslie, which we devoured. A great finish to a wonderful dining experience.

Tonight we had Sandy(like the beach) for a server. Her service was as delicious as the food! This place has changed in the last year; the ambiance improved and the menu a culinary delight! Come check it out if your in the mood for some fine dining.

First, let me say that Michael provided outstanding service. Also, the gluten free dishes are clearly marked and there are plenty of choices. The food was very good. Of the four of us, three of us had the Iceberg Wedge salad(Cherry Tomatoes, Red Onions, Bacon, Bleu Cheese Dressing) and the Voodoo Flat Iron steak(Jalapeño Cheddar Scalloped Potatoes, Cajun Succotash, Creole Sauce). The fourth person had the Iceberg Wedge salad and added the Flat Iron steak to the salad. For desert, we had Bananas Foster(gluten free), Flour-less Chocolate Cake(gluten free) and Strawberry Short Cake(not gluten free!). All of us were very satisfied with the taste and quality of the food. We were a bit disappointed with the value. I don’t mind paying extra for organic produce and grass-fed beef. Just give me a little more of it! As I said, the level of service was outstanding. Michael was very attentive and knew exactly when to stop by the table so our conversation was not interrupted. This is a GREAT skill to have. Overall, this was a very good dining experience.

So a month has gone by and I’m still sad about our dinner here. What was supposed to be a nice New Years Eve dinner turned into an evening of utter disappointment. I realize prices go up, but so should he quality. The food that was served was so far below par that I was too shocked to even complain about it. The appetizer plate was room temperature yet it had items on it that should have been either cold or warm. The entrée was average at best and the Red Velvet dessert was completely dried out. It truly was a sad evening from a place with such a previous good reputation. Even the midnight balloon drop failed :(

Yuck. From apps to main dishes everything was overcooked and too salty. P. s. I like salt… Service was good. Ambiance is like an old school steak house. Mature crowd. This was our first and last visit.

Our Happy Hour at Savannah Chop House falls under the category, «worst dining experience ever«. A group of 10 of us were out for a nice evening but unfortunately that is not at all how the evening went. It started with our server telling us she couldn’t give us separate checks(ok, I understand) but then we didn’t get our drinks for 45 minutes. And she refused to let us order our food when we ordered our drinks, so that took another 30 minutes. My food order finally arrived long after everyone else had theirs and when it finally came I couldn’t eat it because it was covered in cheese, even though I had clearly told the server NO cheese! This was also when they told me that the other item I ordered had dairy so I couldn’t have that either. Mind you, this is close to an hour and a half after we arrived. Then it went from awful to even worse, two meals were inedible, the kitchen ran out of certain dishes, plates came out cold, and the list goes on and on. Many at our table were very unhappy. I finally got my food but the fries were cold and the sliders mediocre at best. I told the server I wasn’t paying for the food and she agreed. But I wasn’t the only one who had food problems. The manager proceeded to mishandle the entire situation by comping only 3 items, the check didn’t show what was comped and because it was on one check, no one knew what was comped and what people owed. Nightmare. Finally realizing the mess, the server rang up separate checks — and this was after telling us it couldn’t be done… sigh. And the piece de resistance, the server added a 20% gratuity. We will never return to Savannah, and if you’re looking for a great Happy Hour, I suggest you don’t either.

We had a fabulous dining experience. New Year’s Eve. It started with the nice Valet Service, great food and the thing that made it extra special was the service by our food server, Leslie. She was professional, calm, experienced and funny. We will definitely go back. Excellent food, Great dining experience.

Avoid any dish with beef. The meat quality is horrible and full of gristle. Came here for thanksgiving with the family. The halibut was good, the turkey was ok, the filet was awful.

This was my second time coming here with my boyfriend and we had an awesome experience. Our server, Chris B., was so friendly and personable. It’s a great treat to go out and be treated as well as he treated us. The food… Phenomenal! We left with very full and satisfied bellies. Started with complimentary sourdough and butter(yes please). We ordered calamari for an appetizer and oh my word the chipotle tar tar sauce to compliment it was delicious!(I ended up dipping my bread in it too.) My boyfriend got the rack of lamb with mash potatoes(medium rare) and it was so good! I got the friend chicken that came with mashed potatoes and spinach; I died, went to heaven, and came back to finish my plate. It was a great food experience! We will be back! Thank you Chris(and Savannah Chop House for having such an awesome server). :)

Seared Sonoma County Foie Gras is layered atop nectarine, cheese toast, and honey gastrique. The foie gras was seared perfectly while maintaining a soft, creamy, velvety interior. The foie gras flavor worked well with the nectarine and honey gastrique — creamy, sweet, and tangy balance. Rating: 4.5÷5 Watermelon Beet Salad is made with a mixed green blend, candied pecans, goat cheese, and herbal vinaigrette. The vinaigrette was refreshing and had a good mix of flavors that balanced with the sweetness of the watermelon and beets. Rating: 3.8÷5 Caesar Salad is made with croutons, fried capers, parmesan, and house Caesar dressing. This was a very light salad. The dressing could definitely use a punch of anchovy flavor. The saltiness would make the flavors pop more. This is a great starter if you plan on ordering a steak. Rating: 3.3÷5 Southern Chopped Salad is topped with tomato, corn, egg, bacon, avocado, red onion, and tossed in sherry vinaigrette. The salad was refreshingly light. The lettuce was crisp with bright, colorful, and appetizing presentation. The flavors also worked well together from the sweet corn, salty bacon, creamy avocado, and zingy onion. Rating: 3.5÷5 Voodoo Flat Iron is atop jalapeño cheddar scalloped potatoes, creole sauce, and topped with Cajun succotash. The steak was perfectly grilled to rare and cut like butter. The jalapeño cheddar scalloped potatoes were cheesy with a little spicy kick. The Cajun succotash was bright and refreshing with crunchy texture from the bell peppers. The creole sauce was fantastic! This sauce would work great with other dishes as well like a shrimp creole atop cheese grits or crawfish étouffée atop white rice. Rating: 5⁄5 Barbeque Ribs(special from the old menu) are cured baby back ribs, slow-cooked in their own juices, slathered with house BBQ sauce and served with slaw and fries. The ribs were tender and cleanly pulled away from the bone. The meat was seasoned well, but the BBQ sauce too tomatoey. Spicy, sweet, and/or smoky would work better. The fries were a little overdone, but crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. The coleslaw was seasoned differently with paprika which is nice change, but it could be a little creamier. Rating: 3.5÷5 Strawberry Short Cake is made with warm vanilla cake, fresh strawberries, and topped with whipped cream. This dessert was reminiscent of Twinkies but topped with strawberries. It was a light finale to the meal. Rating: 3.5÷5 Warm Flourless Chocolate Cake is topped with vanilla bean ice cream and chocolate sauce. The cake had a rich chocolate flavor with a soufflé-like interior — soft & gooey. The outside was almost caramelized with a chewy, sticky texture like caramel. Rating: 4.3÷5 Brioche Apple Bread Pudding is made with brioche, vanilla bean custard, apples, caramel, and topped with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. The brioche gave the bread pudding a luxurious custardy texture. The apple added a subtle flavor and sweetness. The vanilla ice cream and whipped cream added a nice creaminess. Rating: 4.8÷5
