Couture Lashes

I went to Couture Lashes because of all the rave reviews on Unilocal.I have had extensions for over two years and am aware of the processes involved with a new set and a fill set.
First of all, my appointment was at 6:45.
The procedure did not start until 6:55 we ended at 7:33. I lost 20 minutes of my supposed 1 hour appointment.
Sonna was not ready her equipment was not set up her room was changed by the owner of the tanning salon where Couture Lashes is located and we had to find it.
The noise from the surrounding rooms with the tanning beds is deafening.
There was a bright ceiling fluorescent light directly over my face.
She does not use a reclining chair like every other studio I have visited. She uses a massage table with a headrest that has a hole in the middle. There are no pillows for under your knees or head. Laying perfectly flat for an hour is quite unpleasant in a bright room
The lashes look no different than they did when I went in. The same empty spaces were still there. Today less than 24 hours I noticed a few lashes had fallen off. As my day progressed more lashes had fallen off
She did not use any type of mister to help the eyes when opening them from the vapors the glue emits
And she charges $ 75. It was by far the worst experience I have ever had. Think twice before going to this place. Truly a nightmare.

I love my lashes! I’ve had them for almost a month now and they are fabulous. I get compliments from my friends about how great my eye makeup looks and I was not even wearing any! It’s just the lashes!
Manna personally did my lashes, she is truly an artist. All the staff at Couture Lashes are so sweet and helpful. Great local business with great customer service.

I had my Couture Lashes applied by Mana, the owner of Island Tan.
I love them! She is such a pleasant person and the most professional when dealing with all her customers. My lashes are so perfectly applied, that not even my mother realizes they are not my own. It is such a time saver to wake up in the morning, apply minimum make up and go.
Mana is a joy to do business with.

Manna did my lashes before my wedding which was located in Cabo San Lucas. They stayed put through swimming, sweating and tears of joy! Couture Lashes is perfect for everyday or a special event!!!

I originally wrote this review for Island Tan, i didn’t realize Couture Lashes were a separate entity. But they do, and it’s worth writing a new review.
I got my first set of extensions for my wedding a month ago. I received soooo many compliments. The lashes lasted all the way through my honeymoon. I was out of town when it was time to get a touch up done, so I just let them all fall out on their own.
I have another wedding to attend in a couple of weeks, and I will certainly return to Couture Lashes right before I travel. They are so beautiful!

I went to Couture lashes (it is part of Island Tan) to get the full set of lashes. I LOVE them and constantly get compliments. It is amazing to wake up and look refreshed and these extensions actually do that for you. Manna was the artist that applied mine and she was knowledgeable, professional, showed the product that you can use with your new lashes (w/​o pressure sell) and listens to what you want. This is officially my new addition. No more raccoon eyes at the end of the day. Thanks!!!
