Friend recommended this place for their cold brew, and it’s definitely good! Their regular cold brew was light and not bitter at all. I wanted something sweeter so I got half cold brew and half cuban cold brew(which is actually really sweet). Added some coconut creamer and it was good to go! Would definitely come back again to try their other coffees as well.

First time ever writing a Unilocal review and I must say this place is absolutely excellent. First time here today and I got the nitro cuban. Quite possibly the best iced coffee I’ve ever had. Absolutely reasonable prices and friendly staff. Check this place out and SUPPORTSMALLBUSINESS

I needed a place to kill time for few hours so I got on my trusted Unilocal app and found javatini’s. I decided to try javatini since I wanted to try something different so why not a drink that has the café’s name? I wish I could remember exactly what was in it but I think it was some espresso shots and some light cream. It comes in a very small cup. I was pleasantly surprised how good it was, it was nice and cool drink but not too sweet. It was a great marriage of cream and coffee. I’d give 4 stars for this drink! I did have to deduct one star for café vibe. It wasn’t dirty but it didn’t feel clean either — especially the bathroom, it was plain awful. Luckily, I was able to find a seat with some distance from the bathroom. This is really not a good place to study for a long period of time considering comfort level. Also the music would stop for a prolonged period of time here and there. Not that it was annoying but thought it was a bit strange. I’m usually not a nitro fan but reading other people’s reviews, I’d come back and try other drinks but probably not stick around that long.

Get the 50⁄50 with coconut Nitro large coffee. It’s seriously good. I accidentally found this coffee place and I’m hooked. I like it and highly recommend you try it.

Fellow Unilocaler Julie L. suggested Javatinis. I really liked their coffee the last time I was here. I couldn’t say no. Coffee is my weakness! Ahhhh! Well, the first time I was here, the folks were super friendly. The barista was chit-chatting with us regarding different coffees especially one of their favorite coffees, the Trifecta. This time we got Javatini double shot coffee to go. It was sweet. A cold iced coffee on a hot day is a great way to power through a work day! Thanks, Julie and thanks Javatini!

I’m a big fan of their Cuban Nitro cold brew here, one of the best Nitro in OC& I’ve been to a lot of coffee shops. Nitro in a cup is foamy on top, the taste is crisp & creamy, slightly sweet, has a beer like texture. Other drinks are good too, but the Nitro is the reason we keep coming back even though I don’t usually go to this side of town. Staff is pretty friendly, never had to wait long for our drinks. The manager is pretty cool too. A while back, when my son just passed the driving test, we came in for coffee & casually talked about it, the manager offered my son a free drink. Can’t get any better than that.

Came here on Valentine’s Day and we were the only ones here, maybe a couple other customers came through. The place is located in a business area so that may explain the lack of traffic coming through. Anyhow, the place was pretty warm and could have used some AC. I ordered a chocolate chip muffin and I couldn’t eat it because all of the chocolate had melted because the place was so warm. I had an iced latte and it tasted pretty good, I think they roast their own beans here. There was a patio that I wanted to go out to since it was a nice day but the door was locked. Customer service was just okay. I think this place has a lot of potential but it’s missing small things that probably deters repeat business from customers that don’t work in the area.

Don’t go to Starbucks if you’re a local. Go here. Better food, better music, and most importantly better coffee. Been coming here for a few years and they’re always very knowledgeable about what they serve. They may not always have certain blends in stock(or the espresso machine may be down) but they’re a local operation that roasts their own beans, so it comes with the territory. I had a Nitro Cold Brew Cuban today — AWESOME. The coffee tastes so nice and smooth that there’s no need for sugar, just a little half and half and you’re all set, Make this a regular stop if you love coffee!

I wanted to like this little coffee place nestled in the Fed-Ex mall on Lake Forest and Moulton Pkwy in Laguna Hills and the coffee was very good and the pastries exceptional. But the shop itself is dirty and run down – so it makes you feel how clean are the drinks they serve, and how are the pastries handled. Also they do not have a loyalty. program«we don’t need it, as we have the same customers come back» said the surly guy behind the counter. I wonder how long he’ll be in business with that attitude. I will never go back – so there goes his theory! Sad attitude for 2016.. .

Came in here on a whim waiting for Cycle Gear to open. The cashier was very nice and calm, which is funny since most coffee places I’ve been to the cashier is energetic. We got a Nitro coffee and decaf latte. The taste of the Nitro was smooth and rich like a stout beer — yum! The latte was flavorful and I loved the fact I could taste the beans. The prices were very fair for what you get. If only they were closer, I’d go much more often!

My new favorite coffee shop! I thought I’d check it out since it’s right across from work. The gentleman at the counter gave me a summary about their signature«Nitro» coffee, along with two samples. Delicious flavor, less acidity, and more caffeine than regular coffee! Yes, please :)

Don’t really want to be too harsh on Javatini’s but I was a bit let down with the quality and how the coffee was prepared here. I stopped in with my parents after the beach and they already commented the place is in dire need of a redo, very dark, dated and falling apart, dirty bathrooms. Service was slow, over 15 minutes for our 3 drinks and we were the only ones there. My parents did not enjoy their drinks, nor could the barista remember which drink was which, they tried both and tossed both. My blended mocha was watery and separated so that halfway through I was left with a chunk of ice, nothing else. Quality and care of product was just not there, not worth returning to.

Tried the cold brew coffee on nitro. Signs at the front door tell a story of a coffee roasted with 2x the caffeine and 67% less acidity. I’m all for it! It comes in a small paper cup and you can feel the cold temperature of the coffee on your hands. Very refreshing. The taste was almost like drinking a rich, frothy, sweet drink without the guilt and all the caffeine you could ever dream of! Got a regular iced coffee as well to try. Decently priced and a good kick of caffeine.(My poor body lol) but the milk jar on the table wasn’t labeled as skim/2%/non-fat so I wasn’t sure what I poured into my coffee. OH well!

All I can say about this place is one of the best mocha fraps I ever had! It looked like any other frap but it had that roasted flavor to it like they have in hot coffee drinks. I feel like all the mocha drinks I had before this was a lie and it won’t live up to the mocha frappatini from here. Plus service was pretty good also.

First of all it was my first time here and I didn’t have a great experience at all! I work across the building and I needed coffee. I called in at 2:30 to place my order and I told the barista I’ll pick it up at 3:01 and I got there on time. My frapp wasn’t made and it wasn’t soy and it was overall wasn’t good. I got the caramel frapp and it was watered down and unsweetened with no extra caramel. I was in a hurry and I didn’t get the chance to exchange it. Overall my experience was bad at javatinis. NEVERAGAIN!

Great Nitro coffee. The Cuban is interesting… Quite sweet compared to a regular nitro coffee but it lands in a perfect spot once the ice melts just a little. They also let you try both before ordering. Very nice and helpful staff.

Looking for a coffee shop while the older two were in class and I stopped here on the spur of the moment. Good spur of the moment choice. I went with a mocha frappatini and that was a great choice. For starters, the ice was well blended and there wasn’t too much. Sometimes you get a blended drink and there’s so much ice you ended up with a little iceberg drained of all flavour. Not this one. The amount of ice kept it chilled and frozen, rather than liquid, but didn’t water down the taste. Talking taste, the mocha had a good balance of chocolate to coffee. The coffee was rounded and aromatic — no bitter after bite. The chocolate was not overly sweet or syrupy. It was a great drink. What totally made the visit, however, was what happened to my youngest. She wanted a hot chocolate. Now, kids’ hot chocolates aren’t a big quality experience. They are overly sweet, made with syrup, and blah. Usually I get them with reduced syrup just to cut the sugar taste. It’s a treat, so I don’t care if it’s unhealthy. But a decent chocolate taste would be nice. The woman behind the counter upped my expectations by asking Ellwyn if she liked ice cream. Upon the affirmative, she offered to make a Neapolitan hot chocolate!!! Okay, at that point I was sold. Even if it didn’t taste that great, the personalized attention plus ice cream in her drink had us feeling the love. That drink was the best tasting hot chocolate ever. Neapolitan aspect aside, the actual hot chocolate was a nice balance of chocolate flavors. Darker notes combined with sweet milkiness and lacking that sugary taste! The Neapolitan aspect was a lovely compliment. Unlike normal(½ the drink, if that, gets drunk and the rest tossed) this was gone so quickly I hadn’t even gotten half way through my own. And lastly, the price was very reasonable. We will certainly be back.

I work at one of the nearby corporate plazas and I went to Javatini’s because I needed that mid day caffeine. My co worker always raves about the nitro coffee but I opted for the Caramel Frapp because I was craving something sweet. It was really good especially with the free added expresso shot with the Unilocal check in! I was pretty much awake and attentive throughout the rest of the day. The shot also off-set much of the sweetness so my drink still tastes like coffee rather than liquid sugar. Javatini’s also has a variety of baked goods like breads and scones. I tried the chocolate scone is it was very tasty and fresh! My visit was a very nice change of pace from Starbucks and McDonald’s coffee. I’ll be coming back again to try the classic javatini and the frozen yogurt!

Wow, I guess I haven’t been here for a while. I stopped by to get my favorite almond milk latte, and it turned out to be awfully sweet, so I asked why to a new girl I have never seen. She showed me the almond milk that they have been using it for three months already, it was Fresh and Easy brand’s vanilla flavored milk. Now the ingredients have been changed, my favorite nutty almond milk latte at Javatini’s gone. How can they change their recipe like that? Like I make something at home so I can swap ingredients with what’s available in my fridge!!! Coffee still tasted fresh and aromatic, but my search for the best almond milk has to be begun once again…
