Way more than just bagels! The first time I went in I was expecting the typical bagel and brew menu but was pleasantly surprised at finding a giant menu of sandwiches, omelettes, desserts etc., and also blended coffee drinks and smoothies. The menu is great and the ambiance is really cozy. Makes you want to hang out after you’ve gotten your food. The staff is also really friendly and service was quick.

In the area and craving a bagel. I had been here before and didn’t care for the place. Thought I would give it a second try since I saw the $ 1 off Unilocal check in deal. Looked at the menu and was shocked by the prices. $ 8.99 for a veggie and egg bagel! Are you joking? I would have left but hubby was hangry and would have been pissed if I made him drive around for an hour looking for somewhere else to eat. So reluctantly picked out what I wanted and stood at the counter for about 3 minutes before someone decided to help me. I ordered a veggie bagel and iced coffee. When I received my food, I realized I ordered the wrong thing. I looked at the menu board and observed there was no item called simply a «veggie bagel.» there was an «egg, cheese & veggie bagel,» a «tomato and cucumber bagel,» and a «tomato, cucumber and onion bagel.» I take responsibility for not specifying what I wanted(the egg & veggie) but I feel the person taking my order should have clarified what i wanted since the wording I used wasn’t technically on the menu. Instead, she just assumed I wanted the cucumber & tomato bagel. The bagel hardly had any cream cheese and I don’t feel it was worth the price. I took a sip of my iced coffee and literally almost spit it out. It tasted like an ashtray!!! I asked them to make me an iced Americano instead. It tasted a little bit better but something is definitely wrong with the coffee/espresso they use or they need to clean their machines. Won’t be giving this place another chance.

The bagels are good but customer service could use some work. We sat outside until 7:10 before they finally opened. They should adjust their hours if they need more time to open.

Could you get zero stars? After waiting 15 minutes for a bagel with lox and cream cheese it was terrible. I requested the bagel not be toasted — it was toasted! I requested very light on the cream cheese it was so heavy I scooped off 3 tablespoons from half of it. The everything bagel was tasteless, the tomato rotten and the onion non existent. The egg and cheese bagel my husband ordered was mediocre. I mentioned my concern and was told it could be redone. Why bother I’m leaving to go to BRUEGGERS.

Love this place. This has great breakfast food and drinks. They have coffee, smoothies, tea and milk. It’s a great local breakfast place. Every time I come here I have never left unhappy! They have so many different types of bagels to choose from and the staff is excellent!

Tried Bagel Me! for breakfast this morning and I was extremely disappointed. At first, I was quite excited to see that they had an extensive breakfast menu that went beyond just bagels. After perusing the menu, I ordered the ham and cheese omelette. Service was friendly and the food was brought out quickly. When I first saw my omelette, I immediately noticed the strange appearance of the egg. It appeared thin, smooth, and shiny and did not look like a proper omelette at all. The texture was extremely rubbery and the taste was definitely off. And the ham was kinda just sitting between the sheets of rubbery thin egg, and it was not combined with the egg to form an omelette. Very strange. It almost tasted that it was made with artificial eggs instead of fresh eggs. The cottage fries and half bagel that came with the meal were good. But, the fries were definitely on the salty side. Unfortunately, this was a disappointing first experience for me Not sure I will come back since I was pretty grossed out by the omelette. I also found the prices to be on the pricy side. On a positive note, the coffee was nice and hot!

This place is as GREAT as it was, when I worked at one almost 18 years ago as a kid. And a few new things on the menu I’ve notice. Also has the best fresh squeezed orange juice.

Expensive bagels that are no better than the ones you could buy at Ralph’s across the street. A toasted bagel with cream cheese and avocado for $ 6+ uhhhh forreals? I will probably only come back here if I’m running late and didn’t have time to make breakfast before work.

I finally came in here after hoarding my mailer coupons for quite some time in my purse. I was kind of shy to use them because they were really good deals«free bagels» and I thought maybe I wouldn’t be able to use multiple coupons. BUT the guy was so nice, and allowed me to use multiple coupons through different transactions. That said, customer service: excellent Food: the bagels were so fresh. My friend kept raving about the cinnamon sugar. I also got the cheese everything, strawberry, and cheese onion. The cream cheese had a special quality to it. And the from scratch chocolate chip cookie… MMMmMmm

Bagels are warm but they will toast it for you. Had the garlic with jalapeño cheese spread. Amazing.

Something always happens to me at this bagel shop location no matter who is occupying it. When it was OC Bagels, the latte was made with milk that had ‘turned’. When it was Latte Da, the quality went down even further. Now that it has been taken over by a bigger franchise… eh, don’t know what to expect any more besides being able to walk in, order my toasted jalapeño bagel and walk out with my wallet $ 1 lighter. Nope. $ 1.39 for a bagel. I’m thinking these better be premium bagels but they appear just as ordinary as any other. So I order my jalapeño bagel toasted. As I’m watching the register light up…$ 1.95 please. WTF? How did that happen? I look at the menu board. .. toasted. . toasted. .. toasted. . nope, nothing. I ask the guy how it became $ 1.95 and he said it was corporate rules. Nice non-posting of the 40 cent charge to toast my bagel. Isn’t it just a matter of throwing it into a conveyor belt that is always on and out rolls a toasted bagel? geez. I receive my foil wrapped bagel and exit the store. Tear into that hot steaming bagel as I’m driving and yes, its pretty good. Nice crunch and chew but less heat(from the jalapeño) and less dense than that other bagel franchise that starts with a B and sounds like it comes out of your nostril. Was that magical toasting created by the breath of miniature dragons worth the extra 40 cents? HELLNO.

Love this place! I used to eat lunch at the Orange location when I worked up there, and was so excited to hear they opened a new location by our house. We eat takeout from there every 1 – 2 weeks now. I know, maybe too much lol. They have a huge menu to order from. Our breakfast favorite is an omelette and French toast, or for lunch the Bagel Me Club or burgers with onion rings. Unfortunately they aren’t open late enough for dinner :( Their customer service is great! One time they forgot to include my husbands cheese bagel in the bag, and when we were there a week later, they actually remembered and made it for us without even asking! Highly recommend checking this place out!

Tried this place out again last week to give it another shot. Staff was friendly but again had a hard time using the discount. Had to prove I had a message from Stewart to get the 3 dollar discount. I can’t believe both times and such a fight to give the discount. I am pretty much giving up on their promos. I hate to stand at the counter and explain why I «deserve» to have the promo they list on Unilocal that states no exclusions! Anyway, sandwiches were better this time around and nothing was missing. The place was totally empty though. What a change! The first week it was packed and now a ghost town… Love Bagel Me. I used to frequent the location in Villa Park almost daily. Ordered 2 turkey bacon avocado sandwiches to go. Didn’t accept my Unilocal check in for the $ 3 off opening weekend. Prices haven’t seemed to change much. 20 for 2 sandwiches. I do love the little bagel chips tho! Anyway, slightly upset they didn’t honor the Unilocal check in but took my food and drove home. When opening the food we were missing both avocado and bacon that I paid extra for. Really bummed this place was such a miss. We will most likely try again since I love the chain. Fingers crossed it will be better the next time around… Especially with the customer service.

Pretty good bagels. We have been there a couple times since this place opened and took over the spot of the previous horrible bagel place that I won’t mention. The bagels have a nice chewy rind to them and are reasonably dense. They are freshly made and usually are warm. Nice addition to Laguna Hills area.

My first time. I ordered the Lux on onion bagel. It had lots of salmon, crapes. It was delicious. My husband ordered a pancake and ham omelet. He liked it a lot. I’m glad I discovered this place

Drove by this place and finally came in, asked and they opened about 2 months ago, can’t rememebr what was here before. The place looks like they arre still setting up, seems newer than 2 months to me, all the displays are empty or not working and it generally looks like stuff is not in place yet. Plus it looks closed from outside, there is’n too much buzz around, they should proabbly leave the door open and put some posters out or somehintg. Then nicest thing is the 4 big TVs they use to display the menu, they did a nice job there! Hope they would utilize them more though, they only show a static menu for now. Got the Turkey Melt and it was absolutely delicious! Service was great too, hope they will do something to get more customers in for lunch, there was only me and a family this time. I’ll come back and hopefully have to upgrade my review next time.
