Aw, so sad to see them go! Hadn’t been in in quite some time, however I had some fun times there! Though thinking back, I realize I had never eaten there, lol. I never ever had a problem with service though. Steve was always incredible and took fantastic care of me! Karaōke was always fun too! The place was always clean and well kept. I wish I would’ve gone back more often!:(

This review is just for business meetings I have on the front patio with an associate during happy hour. The beer selection from tap is very good with excellent ales. My favorites are the red sunshine and the wheat beer. The pizzas are tasty and quick and reasonable. I think there are many food items discounted during happy hour. We like to sit at a table next to the sidewalk, in the winter they will turn on a heater for us if needed. If needed they have some good tequilas. A shot of Patron pairs well with the ales.

I like their DJ, and it’s not too crowded if you really feel like dancing. drinks are ok, bartenders, too.

If I could give no stars, I would. Laguna is definitely not the place to expect a brewery so we were surprised when we did. We walked up and had to wait outside while they got a table together. We were seated a few minutes later and told our waiter would be with us shortly. 15 minutes later the waiter finally comes by to get our order. We all ordered the same flights for the most part so should have been pretty easy to fill. After watching them struggle to pour flights for almost 30 minutes, we finally received them. Beer is average and service is HORRIBLE. Our waiter/bartender took 30 minutes to get us drinks after we ordered. One major point should be made that NOONE else was in the restaurant/bar at this time. That should have been our first sign to turn around and not waste our time/money. There are so many other good places to go right on the beach. Disappointed

Slow service with hardly anyone else in the place. Took forever to get our«flights,» which were just the beers in the shooter glasses. Plus, I didn’t really like any of the beers. We didn’t try the food. I would just hit up another brewery in the area.

Pacifi I beer and their own draft beers on tap! Huge 8×12 foot TV plus HD tv over the bar. The staff knows how to tune in your favorite game! The Habanero Chicken Wings are excellent! Perhaps the best I’ve ever had. Super heat(I had the hiccups — the true sign of suffering and pleasure mixed together). As my Mother in Law, these wings are for Machos only. Light, crisp, served hot with plenty of celery. THe Halibut and chips was awesome !! The fish was not greasy. A light batter fried to a crisp. The fish was perfect! Not a large portion3 or 4 but good. The fries were average — shoestring but a bit soft to my palate.

We were in the Laguna Beach area at that weird time when a little higher class of restaurant is closed between lunch and dinner, and everything else that’s left is sort of… not what I’m desiring when I’m only in the area for the day. So we ended up here, at Ocean Avenue Restaurant and Brewery. This place really is not bad. Our server, who was also the hostess, was slightly awkward, but you know what? So am I, so who cares. What I do know is this was literally the fastest service I have ever had in my life. They are literally faster than McDonald’s. It almost made me think that a few people sat down, ordered food, sent it back, and we showed up right after and happened to order the same thing and they already had the food plated. Everything was warm and pretty delicious. The calamari was awesome, fish and chips, pretty good. My wife and I just shared everything. The prices were also surprisingly cheap for the quality of food I felt I received. That only reason for the not full star was that the quantity of the halibut in the fish and chips was a little low, 2 and one half strips… slightly disappointing, but good place nonetheless. Then afterwards you can walk to the beach and lay your fat ass on the sun and sweat out the calamari.

I stopped by yesterday with my visiting collie/terrier mix, Toby. I ordered an Ocean Avenue Salad with Chicken and a glass of water as I was waited on by Bethany. She was prompt and checked on us frequently to make sure our needs were cared for. The salad was a mix of organic greens and cheese. The chicken was a little on the dry side but the moisture of the salad compensated for it. I especially enjoyed coming here because they have water bowls on the patio for the passing dogs. Toby wasn’t really thirsty but he appreciated the gesture. Upon finishing my meal another waiter promptly bused the table. A nice place to stop for a late lunch. :-)

We stopped here before walking over to pageant of the masters. Here are the highlights: — Super friendly hostess and waiter! — Delicious small plate options available for low cost for those who don’t eat a ton — Crabcakes were super tasty and came with a healthy salad of mixed greens! — Burger and fries were to die for! — Giant screen TV’s — never realized it could be fun to watch Poker players competing :) The parking is tricky but we were lucky. Highly recommend this place!

The Service: Our server, Bethany, is awesome. Very efficient and attentive. Super friendly. Great customer service! The Food: Bacon mac & cheese — cheesy! Love it! Fried calamari — BEST ever. Not too much batter outside. Super fresh! Love the two dipping sauce too. Fish and chips — 2 big pieces of fish. Freshly deep fried. lots of fries too! Pulled pork sliders — okay… wish more pork meat inside. Ocean salad with ahi — big pieces of ahi fish. fresh ingredient. Just a little bit overdressing. The Parking: Parking lot next to the restaurant. $ 3 per hour. pay first at the machine.

Let me start by saying the happy hour menu is pretty good, I liked the buffalo cauliflower a lot. Unfortunately they didn’t accept gift my certificate for happy hour. In order for us to use the gift certificate they said they had to charge us full price, although there was no disclaimer on the certificate or the menu. Then they couldn’t get the prices right after informing us we couldn’t use the gift certificate, it took 20 minutes for them to sort it out, and the prices were still wrong. Mind you it was a only a $ 25 gift certificate that they were losing it about. I liked the happy hour drink menu, but after going through that headache and feeling deceived, I won’t be returning.

This is a restaurant and mico brewery in the heart of Laguna Beach. I’ve been here 4 times now and always had a great time. Here’s my breakdown: GOOD1: The food is excellent. It’s always been tasty and consistent. The last time I was there I wanted something really light and was suggested the buffalo cauliflower. Seemed like an odd combination but it was delicious. GOOD2: Their craft brews are pretty good. Not always my favorite but definitely good. The cocktails are well made and portioned correctly. GOOD3: They have a small patio so during the summer it’s really nice to sit outside. BAD1: Parking is a joke. It’s not the restaurant’s fault as parking is horrible everywhere around this area. There is a private pay lot right next door so you can solve this problem with a few bucks. Overall it’s a really nice place to grab some grub and brews. At night on the weekends they have a club type thing that can get interesting. I enjoy this place and suggest it to friends. Enjoy.

Nice people. Steve was our bartender and he was very good. He could tell who wanted to hear about the beers and the beer making process and who didn’t. We also enjoyed the beers. My fav was the Main Beach IPA. Really hoppy really nice.

Came here on a Flavors of Laguna tour & tried some of their dishes: Cauliflower wings: 4 stars. delicious… Bruschetta: 3 stars Fresh & yummy but they could have also baked the tomatoes with the bread rather than just putting on top the baked bread. Sangria w/Champagne is so delicious! 5 stars HH: 3 – 7PM everyday Tons of all kinds of beers & wine here to try =) Our bartender: Fernando was such a warm, friendly & awesome bartender =) Thank you! Ambiance & atmosphere: B+(very chill & relaxed — great place to watch games) Service: A Food: B+ I will definitely come back here to try out their HH menu & check out the live music & dancing they have here.
